Chapter 1: Chapter 1 – New start

Sunday, 

A lady is running now in a dark alley. She is going towards the exit of the alley. At nighttime, these dark alleys are most dangerous for a lady to travel. Her name is Kenny Mathu, a shopping mall worker. Some time ago her shift ended and now she is going home. Today she is pretty tired and because of this, she wanted to take the shortcut to her home. She knows that this type of dark alley is pretty dangerous for any girl. Still, she took the shortcut. 

Now it is 9:00 p.m. You can see many people still on the road, also because of this, she has the confidence to take the shortcut. She was walking quickly without stopping. She wants to get out of this alley as quickly as she can. 

She sigh in relief because she didn't see any people in the dark alley. But she still hurrying. A few minutes later, when she was near the exit, she heard a voice, which made her terrified. Because she heard someone calling her name. She turned around to see who was calling, but didn't see anyone. Which made her more scared. 

She has now ‌run. ' Why the hell am I taking this shortcut?' Now this question she has. She can see the exit. Just a little more, then she will leave this alley. But suddenly she heard footsteps behind her. 

Kenny got more scared by the sound. She didn't even dare to turn around. 

"Help!!... Help!!..... Help!," she began shouting in a shaking voice. She was so scared that she wasn't even able to shout for help properly. 

" Hehe, Kenny, why are you shouting?" Suddenly, she heard a voice from her left side. She was frightened and turned her head toward her left side. 

At this time, some people near the alleyway suddenly heard a scheme.  

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!," by hearing the sound you can tell, it is a girl's voice, and she is pretty frightened. Instantly, many people went toward the alleyway to find out what happened. 

They saw a girl laying down on the ground and she was bleeding from her head. Someone quickly called an ambulance and also called the police.

Next day,

A man is lying down in his bed, and he is sleeping. But, suddenly, his phone rang. With sleepiness, he answered the phone. 

"Hello, who is this? Why are you calling me in the morning?" 

"You idiot!!!!!! Wake up. It is now 11:00 AM. You're still calling this morning. You got a case in your hand." The other party said to him. 

" Oh... Mike, it is you. Yawn... Good morning, Mike." He wakes up and yawns. But, suddenly he remembers the second part his friend told him.

" Are you telling me the truth, Mike? Did I actually get a case?" He asked his friend with excitement. 

" Yes, you stupid idiot. Now I woke up and went to the coffee shop. I will talk to you there," Mike said, and cut the call. 

" Yahoo ....... Today is my lucky day," he jumped in excitement and bounced to the bathroom to fresh himself. 

After washing his face with cold water, he looked at his reflection in the mirror. He saw a person with dark hair and eyes, with a pretty splendid figure (Not that lean or not that muscular). He has an athletic build body with his 6-fit height, making him good-looking, but not that much.

He is actually not from this world. He came from the earth to this new earth. His name is Arthur Fernandes, an orphan. In his previous life, he also had the same name. He was a college student in his previous life. But, in 2020 he got affected by a virus called covid and died. And now transmitted to this new world with the same name but a different body. In this life, he is a freshman that recently graduated from the Gema detective school. 

He was pretty excited about solving many mysteries. But in his first case, he made a big mistake. Because of this mistake almost, one innocent person was going to be killed, but thankfully his friend Mike was there. Somehow, Mike solved the case and brought him back home. Arthur felt so guilty about his mistake that he ended his life, and like this, Arthur, from a different world, came into his body. 

It has been an entire month since he came to this new world. It took him some time to adjust to this new world. This earth is pretty similar to his old world, so he adjusts quickly. At first, he didn't know what to do, but thankfully when he was about to give up on his detective life or we can say mystery solver life, heaven gifted him a golden finger. Suddenly, his old phone glowed. Sometime later, he can see the phone. It turned into a new phone. He never saw this type of model in his life.

Arthur quickly turns on his phone. His old application was still there, but any scrolling down he saw 3 new applications. My status, mission, and inventory are the three new applications he can see on his new mobile.

He became very excited after seeing this application. Finally, one month later he got his Golden finger. He is about to give up on his detective life but after receiving his Golden finger now he is feeling with new hope. 

After suppressing his excitement quickly opened the "My status" application.

Seeing his status, you can say he was pretty disappointed. Previously, Arthur was pretty good at fighting, but he wasn't that good at solving mysteries. But he quickly cheered himself up. He got a golden finger. If luck was on his side, then he could be the world's best detective. 

He quickly opened the other two applications. When he opens the "mission" application, it shows him "None". That means he didn't have any mission right now. So he opened the last application "inventory".
