Chapter 16: Chapter 16 – Going to the college

"So, what happened?" John asked me. 

" These three guys wanted to kidnap this girl here. Fortunately, I and Mark prevented this from happening." I simply told him what happened here. 

" Hmmm, understand," John said, then looked at the kidnapper. 

" I feel like I know them. It is just I can't remember at the moment where I have seen them. O well, forget it," after saying that he told his subordinate to call the ambulance. 

"Miss Kenny, you can relax now. Everything is alright. It's getting late, uncle will worry about you. You should go home. Don't worry, I will be going with you," I told Kenny to go home. 

Yesterday and today were awful days for her. Also, it is getting late so she should go home and relax. 

Kenny said nothing, just nodded. 

I can feel that she wants to go home, but she is terrified of going home alone. Because of this, I told her ‌ I will go with her. 

"Mark, I am going with Miss Kenny. With John, you go to the hospital. After that, you pick me up from the Tanvi colony." I told Mark. 

He nodded, hearing my words. 

" I am sorry, John. I need to go with my client. But, don't worry if you have any question to ask Mark, he also knows the full matter," I told John.

"Haha… don't worry, man. You should go with her. I can see the lady is pretty scared. You should go. If I have any question, I will ask Mark," John said with a smile. 

I also smile back. Then Miss Kenny and I walked toward the end of the alleyway. After exiting the alleyway, I saw a big shopping complex. It was the Jain shopping mall, where Kenny worked. Wasting no time, we walked toward the Tanvi colony. 

It took us 20 minutes to reach the Tanvi colony. First 15 minutes we walked, then because Mark reached us, it took 5 minutes to reach the Tanvi colony.

Now Mark and I are in his car. We are going toward our college. 

"Man, it was pretty hard for Kenny. Yesterday she got attacked by someone and today someone wants to kidnap her." Mark said to me. 

" Yea, man." I agreed with him.

" So, how was your investigation going?" He asked.

" Don't worry, if my guess is correct. I will get some clue about the killer from the evidence I collect," I explained to him. 

20 minutes later, we finally reached the college. Mark parks his car, then we approach the forensic lab. We enter the college building and work toward the forensic lab. You can find any classroom on the ground floor. You only see the office room, staff room, and the forensic lab on the ground floor. 

Also, we can see students because it is 5:15 p.m. the college starts at 10:00 a.m. and finishes at 5:00 p.m. because of this we can see any students.

The guard of the building wanted to stop us, but after noticing it was me and Mark, he didn't stop us. Mark and I said hello to the guard and walked toward the lab. 

In Strom city, our college's forensic lab is the best lab. Also, because of this many detectives, and the police come here. So while we were walking toward the lab, we saw some people in the lab. Half of the forensic lab's door is made of glass. 

We can see the inside of the lab. There were three people wearing lab coats. We recognize them. One is our teacher Andrew Fran, and the other two people are the teacher's assistants. Besides them, we also saw two people in the lab. 

We enter the lab. Teacher Andrew looks at us and sees it is me and Mark. He smiled at us and signaled for us to go to his office. He is busy discussing something with those two people, so he can't talk right now. From the look, we can tell it was very serious, so we also don't want to disturb him. 

Mark and I nodded and approached the office room. After entering the office room and sitting down while waiting for the teacher to come. 

"Dude, every time I came here, I saw teacher Andrew talking with someone," Mark said. 

"What can you say? Our teacher is the head of the forensic department. So it is obvious that everyone wants to ask him for help." I answered him. Our teacher is the head of the forensic department. Under him, many other people also work in the forensic lab. People like to ask him for help, but the teacher didn't accept everyone's case. 

10 minutes later, teacher Andrew finally entered his office room.

"Good evening teacher," both me and Mark said to him. 

" Good evening, boys," teacher Andrew said to us and he approached his seat. 

" So, Mark and Arthur. How are you?" After sitting down in his seat, he asked us.

" Fine, teacher, " we both answered him.

" Mark, this is the report your father wants. He already called me. So the evening is ready," teacher Andrew gives Mark an envelope. The report paper is inside this envelope. 

" Arthur, now tell me, what is your case?" After giving the envelope to Mark, he looked at me and asked. 

"I want you to check this thing and give me their report." I took out all the things I got in that alleyway. The solid blood, the spray can, and the logo. 

"Teacher, can you check that this solid blood and the blood in this logo are the same or not? And also give me the report of the blood sample. In this spray can, we have the fingerprint of a culprit. I need that fingerprint." I gave her those clues I got from the alleyway. 

The teacher carefully put all those clues in a box. 

" Come tomorrow, you will get the report." He said to me,
