Chapter 5: Chapter 4 – Ichiraku ramen.

Pov – Anko 

Anko made her way to the Konoha Hospita. Konoha Hospital was a place where it serves the medical needs of ninja or the civilian in Konohagakure. It is filled with staff that are skilled on Iryo ninjutsu, which makes the process of treating their patients even more effective.

Initially, she had her own doubts when the Third Hokage gave her the task to be a jonin instructor for one student. This had never occurred in the history of Konoha. Her doubt was further reinforced the moment Third Hokage gave information about him. 

He was stronger and even more talented than the last known Uchiha, Sasuke.

His talent was compared to the likes of Fourth Hokage, Minato.

He had a unique kekkei gankai like the First Hokage, Hashirama, who was widely known as the God of Shinobi.

However, her doubts were cleared the moment she spared. His strength was abnormal for his age.

‘To think he’s this powerful just at the age of 12. With his combat skills and gravitational power, it will be interesting to see his future’ Smiled Anko as she reached her destination and entered the Konoha Hospital.

Exhausted from his ‘spar’ that injured him, he slowly and steadily walked towards his home. He was an orphan that lived alone, so he would get some allowance every month. As he had now graduated from being an academy student, his monthly allowance had increased quite a bit, which he didn’t forget to take before he went to meet his instructor.

He saw many shops. Some filled with books, some with ninja masks and more. As it was getting late, lights were everywhere and to some it looked like the place was filled with fireflies. Loud sounds filled the streets, hinting at the joy of people. There was even sweet aroma of food which made one carve for it. And this applied to Dai as well.

‘Since I got money today,  enjoy Ichiraku today’ Although, he was injured, it didn’t prevent him from entering the store to enjoy a good food. When he entered, he saw Naruto talking to the owner.

“You seem quite excited Naruto. Teuch san, can I get miso reman with extra chasu” I sat next to Naruto while eagerly waiting for my order.

“Of course, I'm waiting for my order. But what happened to you?” Naruto looked at Dai weirdly as he had never seen him injured. This was true for most people as well. Dai was objectively known as the strongest person in his  class. He would never be injured during friendly sparing match, so Naruto was a bit surprised to him in this state. 

“Well, it was my sensei. She attacked me without any notice to test my capabilities” A forced smile appeared as he said this. 

“Same. We fought against Kakashi sensei. We lost though but we passed his test” Naruto said with a grin.  

‘But that ‘thousand years of death. Would I beat Dai if I learn that powerful technique’ The moment Naruto imagined his victory against Dai, he felt a jolt of shiver across his body. He could find no enemy even when he used ‘gravitational sense.’

“But it was me who did most of the work. Sasuke didn’t do anything to help us at all” He began to rant on, which I immediately ignored when my ramen was severed.

Together with Naruto, who was ramen lover like Dai started consuming it. 

 ‘I have tried it many times, but I can never get enough of it’ Dai ate slowly to enjoy all the flavor. 

The noodles were cooked , neither too soft nor too hard. The chasu was very tender with an added juicy texture. And one cannot forget about the broth, which contained a strong rich flavor and was the main reason for the ramen’s good aroma. With  this combined and together with all the toppings, it made this ramen heavenly.

Naruto and Dai were completely satisfied with their meal and Teuch who saw this could not help but smile in pride. Seeing someone enjoy and appreciate your food makes every chef happy. 

They both enjoyed the ramen. After they finished it , both headed to their home. Opening the door to his house, Dài found some healing ointment and began to apply it on his wound, which has a mild healing property.

Dai leaned on the window while gazing over the village while feeling a cold breeze run across his face. As it was pitch black, all he could see was the spots of light, which made the village look .

He knew he needed to stronger quick. Thinking of Orochimaru and Pain’s invasion, his determination became even stronger.

‘Status’ He said inwardly.

Seeing nothing change but his strength that increased slightly, he looked at his old clock that was hanging on the wall, he could see it was already 9pm. So, Dai began to change his comfortable clothes from his combat ones before heading to sleep.
