"No more lazing around, Kakashi." Hiruzen muttered to himself chuckling.

Konoha Cemetery

A man with gravity defying silver whose face was covered by a mask could be seen in crouched down in front of a grave. His head was also covering his left eye. He was wearing what most of the Jonins wore in the village. Said man's face was very gloomy. His eyes almost reflected his sufferings.

Suddenly Kuma appeared beside the man.

"Kakashi-senpai, Hokage-sama is calling for you." The anbu said respectfully.

The man named Kakashi got up from his crouching position and did a complete 180, mood wise.

"Oh, is it time already?" Kakashi asked even though he knew.

Kuma simply nodded. He placed his arm on Kakashi's shoulder and teleported away courtesy of the Shunshin.

Hokage Office

Hiruzen was casually smoking on his pipe when suddenly Kakashi and Kuma appeared both bowing.

"Jonin Kakashi Hatake sir, reporting." Kakashi said respectfully.

"Ahh Kakashi-kun, get up. You may leave Kuma." Hiruzen said as Kuma disappeared.

Obliging, stood up straight.

"What is it that you wanted to discuss with me, sir?"

"As you know, I am putting you in charge of Team 7, right?"

Kakashi simply nodded.

"Your team includes Naruto Uzumaki, your late-sensei's legacy, Sasuke Uchiha, the last loyal Uchiha and Sakura Haruno." 

"Hm." Kakashi nodded in conformation.

"Now, I am going to assign you with a secret mission. You are to train your team to their fullest potential." Hiruzen said.

"Huh?" Kakashi asked confused.

"You are to train your team to their fullest potential." Hiruzen repeated getting into serious mode.

"Two of your genins have our villages most powerful assets. One is the Jinchuriki of the Kyuubi and the other one has our villages most powerful dojutsu, the Sharingan. And that civilian girl, Sakura Haruno, from the reports I've heard is an excellent kunoichi. She has potential to be the greatest medical-nin and Genjutsu user of this genaration. From the academy reports and my own analysis, her chakra control has potential surpass even the one of Tsunade Senju, the slug princess." Hiruzen explained.

Kakashi's eyes were wide open in shock. Well, atleast the ones that could be seen.

"If you train them to their fullest potential, they could become the villages most powerful asset." Hiruzen finished.

"I see. I'm going to assume that this is going to be a long term S-ranked mission?" Kakashi asked.

Hiruzen simply nodded as a reply.

"What happens if they fail the bell test?" Kakashi asked.

"They won't." Hiruzen replied.

"How can you be so sure of that?" Kakashi questioned.

"Because they show major signs that they are able to work together. For the last week, these three have been training together. They know each others strengths and weaknesses. They are not afraid to teach each other their own techniques and they look like they'd be willing to work together. But Uchiha boy might be a problem due to his superior complex but he seems to respect those with strength." Hiruzen explained.

"Hm, I'll see what I can do." Kakashi said.

"You may leave now. Your team is waiting for you."

With a bow Kakashi Shunshined away from the office.

Academy

"Naruto, stop that! Our sensei is a Jonin, he won't even for that!" Sakura exclaimed trying to stop Naruto.

"Heh heh...this is what you get!" Naruto exclaimed as he walked away after putting a board eraser on top of the classroom door.

On  queue, somebody openned the door.

It was Kakashi.

The eraserer fell on top of his head and fell over to the floor.

At this, Naruto's mouth converted into a huge grin.

"I tried to stop him sensei, sorry." Sakura said apologetically.

"Hah! Take that!" Inner Sakura shouted.

'Is this really our sensei? Is he even a capable Jonin?' Sasuke thought disgusted.

"Hmm...how can I say this? My firstimpression is..." Kakashi said holding his chin with his hands.

The three genins got close in anticipation.

"I don't like you guys." Kakashi finished with a smile.

Sweat fell over from each one of the genins comically.

"Well lets begin with introducing yourselves." Kakashi suggested.

They were currently on the roof of the academy. 

Kakashi was on the railings whilst the three newly appointed Genins were sitting on the stairs.

"What do you want to know?" Sakura asked.

"How about your likes, dislikes, hobbies and future goals?" Kakashi suggested shrugging his shoulders.

"Hey, how about you introduce yourself first?" Naruto suggested.

"Oh me? Well, my name is Kakashi Hatake. I have lots likes and lots of dislikes. I also have a lot of hobies. Dream for the future? None."

"So all he told us.....is his name?" Sakura deadpanned.

"Let's start from you, blondie." Kakashi said pointing towards Naruto.

"Yo! Names Naruto Uzumaki! I love ramen and I love it even when Iruka-sensei pays for it. I also like training. I dislike waiting for the ramen to cook and ignorant people. And my dream is to become the greatest Hokage and live up to my legacy." Naruto finished.

'Does he already know?' Kakashi thought widening his eyes but quickly replaced with an eye smile.

"Hobbies.....pranks, I guess."

"You next, emo." Kakashi said pointing towards Sasuke.

Sasuke glared at Kakashi at that nickname.

"My name is Sasuke Uchiha. I don't really like anything and I dislike everything. And...I can't really call it a dream but I do have an ambition to rebuild my clan and kill....a certain man."

Everyone became dead silent at that.

"As I thought." Kakashi said in his mind, squinting his eyes a bit.

"My hobbies are...training." Sasuke finished.

"You next pinkie." Kakashi said pointing towards Sakura.

"My name is Sakura Haruno. The thing I like is....well the person I like is.." Sakura said looking at Sasuke with dreamy eyes.

"And um....my dream for the future...is to marry a certain someone.." Sakura said squirming in excitement.

"Oh! And I dislike Ino!" Sakura finished.

'Girls these days are more interested in love than Ninjutsu.' Kakashi thought putting his hands on his cheeks.

"Ok! Enough with the introductions. From tomorow, you'll start you duties as shinobi. First, we are going to do something with just the four of us." Kakashi explained.

"What is it?" Naruto questioned.

"Survial training?" Naruto asked.

"Why arise our first duty as shinobi training?" Sakura questioned.

"This isn't normal training. This time, I'm going to be your opponent." Kakashi said.

"So?" Naruto asked.

"Out of the 27 graduates, only 9 will be chosen to become Genin. This test has a fail rate of over 66%!" Kakashi said ominously.

"But we worked so hard! What was the point of the Genin exam then?" Sakura exclaimed.

"Oh that? That was just a test to select those who have the chance of becoming a Genin." Kakashi replied.

"Anyway...be present at training ground 3 at around...7 am. Also...don't eat your breakfast, unless you want to puke it right back out."

Kakashi said as he Shunshined away.

"Soo...you guys wanna go get lunch together? Y'know, since we're a team now." Naruto suggested.

"Yeah Sasuke-kun, let's go!" Sakura said cheerfully.

"No. I have training to do." Sasuke said as he started to walk away.

"Unless you wish to train, I have no desire to go with you." Sasuke added.

"Sighh....listen teme, we're going to train after lunch. We're going to need to rest our bodies for it to grow properly. Unless you wanna break your bones, you can come with us." Naruto said.

Sasuke stopped and thought about for a while.

"Fine, but you're paying."

"WHAT!!" Naruto shouted comically.

Sasuke in turn smirked and Sakura giggled.

All three of them then started walk away side by side.

"If I'm payin', then we're goin' to Ichiraku." Naruto said.

"Whatever, free food is free food." Sasuke said smirking.

The Next Day

*ring* *ring* *ring*

Naruto's alarm clock buzzed him awake.

"Yawwwn......*smacks lips*.....is it time already..?" Naruto said to himself as he turned off his alarm clock.

Naruto got up from his bed, still drowsey and made his way towards his bathroom.

After performing his morning rituals, Naruto put on his shinobi clothes. He exited his appartment immediately since he wasn't eating breakfast and headed for training ground 3.

Training Ground 3

"Sep teme." Naruto greeted.

It seemed like he wasn't the one first to arrive. Sasuke was the came here first. Sakura was nowhere to be seen.

"Hmm." Sasuke grunted out as if to acknowledge his presence.

"Whaddo we do now? Maybe we were a bit early?" Naruto questioned.

"We should wait for Sakura. I have a plan and since this is a team test, I feel like we should have a plan. I know you are strong enough to not hold me back but... I don't know about Sakura. As far as I know, she doesn't have any Jutsu under her belt, other than the academy ones." Sasuke said.

"Hmm... I dunno about that, she seemed to be training hard for the past week. Maybe she has learned a new technique." Naruto said.

Amidst their discussion, Sakura walked between them.

"Hey guys!" Sakura said cheerfully.

"Sakura, sit over there. We have some planning to do. Even though Kakashi seemee uncapable, he's still a Jonin and we have to be prepared." Sasuke finished.

Sakura blushed a bit  since Sasuke was actually talking to her. She quickly sat right beside him, smiling.

"Okay, listen up. Whatever test he uses, this is going to be the general plan. Now, tell me what you can techniques you can perform. You first, Naruto." Sasuke finished pointing at Naruto.

"Okay, Ninjutsu wise, I can create Kage Bunshins to keep him occupied along with my Adamantine Chains. I can also use some Genjutsu but I'm not very good at them. My Taijutsu is pretty decent and I'm proficent enough in Kenjutsu to get by." Naruto finished.

"Okay...then I'll go. Ninjutsu wise, I'm pretty comfortable. I know a lot of High ranking Katon jutsu, ranging from A to E rank. I also know quite a lot of D-rank Suiton and Doton jutsu, which I copied using my Sharingan. Speaking of which, my Taijutsu is excellent because of my Sharingan but I lack the strength to do serious damage but that doesn't mean I'm weak. I just may not be as physically strong as someone like Naruto.  I'm also quite proficent in Genjutsu and Shurikenjutsu." Sasuke finished.

"Okay...I guess I'll go now. Ninjutsu wise, I only know the Academy ones, I know a few Genjutsu and I'm also proficent in the Academy Taijutsu style and I can use Chakra Enhancement to deal crushing blows." Sakura said raising her fists.

"Wait, by "Chakra Enhancement," do you mean the technique that Tsunade Senju, the sannin uses?" Sasuke questioned.

"Mhm. But I haven't mastered it yet." Sakura said sweetly.

This sent a shiver down both Naruto and Sasuke's spine, since they had read how damaging it could be if they got hit by one of those.

'Yeah....definitely don't wanna get hit by her!' Naruto and Sasuke both thought as sweat poured over both of their forheads comically.

Suddenly Naruto sensed a familiar presense above the tree in which they sitting beside.

"Who's there!" Naruto shouted jumping from his spot and un-sheathing Minazuki.

"Woah, woah, calm down Naruto. It's just me. I'm surprised you were able to sense me. I guess Uzumaki's really were proficent in sensing." Kakashi said jumping out of the tree in which he was hiding.

"Why were you hiding?" Sakura asked.

"Nothing. Just observing you guys, thats all. Anyway, let's get started with the test." Kakashi said as he put an alarm clock on one of the tree stumps.

"Okay, it's set for noon." Kakashi said as he pulled out two small bells.

"Here are two bells. Your task is to take them from me before time is up. The person who doesn't get a bell fails and will be sent back to the academy." Kakashi explained jingling the bells.

This sent a shiver down the three Genins spine.

"Use whatever tool you have at your disposal and come at me with the intent to kill." Kakashi said ominously.

No one asked a single question. They just simply nodded.

"Also, if you fail to get my bells, I'll tie you up on that tree stump make you watch the one's who got a bell eat." Kakashi said.

'So that's why he told us not to eat.' thought the Genins.

"Ready....." Kakashi said to warn them.

They Genins tenced up at this.

"Set......." 

The Genins got ready to move.

"BEGIN!!"
