(Ifrit POV)

For a month or so, I have been taking care of this human.

"Are you feeling better today?"

He is still in the same place as the day we made our contract.

"Yeah, I think I will be able to stay awake longer today"

His body and mind are slowly adapting to being systemless.

In the first weeks, he barely was awake for some minutes and now he can stay awake a full hour.

I dropped the Drake monster that I was carrying on my left shoulder on the floor.

I tear the skin of the monster with my hands and take some meat for him to eat.

After taking care of him, I go back to the magma and start swimming inside it.

"I should focus like that too" Ifrit

The elemental spirits are also somewhat affected by the system, so I should get accustomed to this new me as much as I can.

He stood back on his feet.

After an unknown amount of time.

Words filled with my emotions leave my mouth.
