Miguel sat at a secluded nook in a coffee shop across R Tower, he wore a cap and shades to avoid being recognized. He also took a cab instead of his flashy new car in order to stay low profile.
When Miguel spotted Cedric coming out of R Tower, he quickickly rang up his friend.
"Hey Miguel? What's up?" Cedric asked over the phone.
"I'm at the cafe across R Tower, table to the right, behind the plant. I'm wearing a cap and sunglasses. Come over." Miguel said as he quickly dropped the call.
From inside he could see Cedric's confused look as he shook his head and looked at the coffee shop across the street. Cedric quickly crossed and entered the coffee shop.
"Can't this wait till we're at home?" Cedric complained as he sat down across the ridiculously disguised Miguel.
"It can't. Have you read the full dossier on Jason?" Miguel asked in a rush.
"Nope. I haven't had the time. You're eating up from my lunch break." Cedric told his friend.
"Read it. I plan to make a move." Miguel said as he took a peek outside.
"Miguel, you have to admit, there isn't much you personally can do to him." Cedric said with a sigh.
"Why do you think I'm here?" Miguel said, shaking his head. "I need your help."
"Again, this could have waited for when we were at home." Cedric complained.
"Will you help me or not?" Miguel asked.
"I will. Of course, I will. Do you know what you want to do yet?" Cedric asked.
"I want to expose him for the fraud that he is." Miguel had a look on him that could kill, Cedric wasn't used to this side of Miguel and ended up laughing at his friend.
"Do you have proof?" Cedric asked.
"Some." Miguel said with a shrug. "But I want him to suffer first before being called a fraud."
"Fine. Go to R Tower, look for Ayanna, she should have some ideas." Cedric said as he began to get up.
"Alright." Miguel said with a nod.
"Oh and Miguel, when do you plan to start building your house? You've been living at my place for a month now. It's gonna get crowded with the baby soon." Cedric asked Miguel who nervously laughed.
"I'll ask Veronica." Was all Miguel could answer.
"What a whipped husband." Cedric laughed as he left Miguel at the coffee shop.
Miguel went back later that afternoon with the dossier he had on Jason Evangelista. Despite being one of the more low profile of the princes, when the female employees of the Reyes Group saw him in the elevator they couldn't help but take photos of the dashing young doctor. Unlike the others, Miguel always wore a smile and never said no when someone asked for a photo with him. He didn't have the same cold and intimidating aura as Ray and Alexi.
"Doctor Chan." Ayanna's assistant greeted when he saw Miguel arrive. "Is Mrs.Chan with you to see Ms. Reyes?"
"No. Is Ayanna in a meeting?" Miguel asked. The secretary was clearly confused since they all knew that Miguel Chan was Mr. Reyes' friend. It was his wife that visited Ms. Reyes often.

"No sir. I'll announce you." The assistant said as he quickly walked up to Ayanna's office.
When Miguel entered the office, he saw Ayanna focused on reading some papers that were on her desk.
"My brother is not on this floor." Ayanna said as she looked up.
"I'm actually here for your help." Miguel said as he sat on the couch.
"What's up?" Ayanna placed down the documents to listen to what Miguel was going to ask.
"I want to make Jason Evangelista suffer." Miguel said in a dark tone.
"Woah, too dark for you Miguel. But, I can help you there." Ayanna said with a grin. She knew exactly what Jason had done to her friend and Veronica had always prohibited her from doing anything. Luckily, this time, it was Veronica's husband that came to her to help make the man suffer.
"Remember Cedric's suggestion?" Miguel asked, recalling the night they had seen Jason and his family.
"Yup. I haven't started on it yet, but we can do that now." Ayanna said as she buzzed for her assistant.
"Call Veronica's assistant. Set up a meeting for Veronica and Elisia Malls for a partnership." Ayanna told her assistant, who nodded as he jotted down her instructions. "Has Jason Evangelista been moved from Krisanta Land to Elisia Malls?"
"Yes Miss Ayanna. Mr. Reyes had him transferred." The assistant confirmed.
"Good. That'll be all." Ayanna said, dismissing him.
"Thanks Ayanna." Miguel said as he left Ayanna's office.
Miguel was not completely incapable of getting back at Jason Evangelista. Over the years, he had spent a hefty sum to get private investigators to dig up all the dirt and evidence on Jason. He also had Jason constantly tailed, so he knew every dirty deed that the man was up to.
As he got to the lobby of R Tower, he took out his phone and gave Ram a call.
"Hey bro." He greeted Ram.
"Is someone sick or do the girls want to go shopping, again?" Ram asked over the phone.
"Haha. Neither. I need your help with a Ced kind of thing." Miguel told his friend as he passed a group of giggling girls that were taking photos of him.
"A Ced kind of thing? Since when have you been involved in underhanded tactics?" Ram knew that Miguel never bumped heads with other people, and other people preferred to avoid offending someone that could possibly save their lives.
"For a score that needs to be settled." Miguel said as a bodyguard opened the passenger seat for him.
"Wait your brother just rushed into my office." Ram said on the other line.
"She's f---ing back!" Miguel could hear his older brother's complaint over the phone.
"Who?" Ram asked.
"Calathea. I thought Cedric dealt with her." Miguel could hear what his brother was saying over the undropped call.
