Adrianna was slowly helped up by Nicole and Ayanna who were standing on each side, she wore a confused look on her face and even looked a little scared.

"Adrianna, look at me." Miguel said as he did a quick check on her.

"Adri, honey, do you know who I am?" Cedric asked. He had heard of people suffering from amnesia after traumatic experiences, and what happened to Adrianna definitely qualified as a traumatic experience.

"No. I don't know you." Adrianna suddenly said. Cedric could feel his heart drop, he wanted to hold his wife in his arms and to hug her tightly. He suddenly thought of their little Emilio, how would the little boy manage when his mother couldn't remember him. A thousand thoughts passed through Cedric's head as he realized his wife had forgotten him. "My husband doesn't look so disheveled and his eyebags are not as large as yours." Adrianna said with a laugh.

Everyone collectively sighed a breath of relief as it looked like Adrianna's memory was fine and she was simply playing a prank on her husband. Cedric was quick to pull his wife into his arms and kiss her passionately.

When Cedric finally released her, Adrianna's hand instinctively went to her now flat belly. Cedric could see the questioning look in her eyes, she was clearly asking him what happened to the baby in her.

Cedric turned to pick up little Emilio who was sleeping behind them, it seemed that he had slept through the commotion and had not stirred at all. He brought the baby boy over to Adrianna who smiled brightly as he approached with the little bundle.

"Adri, we have a son." Cedric said as he lowered little Emilio for his wife to see. Adrianna reached up, wanting to carry her son in her arms. "Are you well enough?" Cedric asked, he was worried that their son's weight would tire his wife out.

"I can carry him." Adrianna insisted. Cedric handed the little boy over and watched as his wife cuddled the little bundle. He is so handsome." Adrianna said as she looked at his tiny face.

"He looks just like his father when he was a baby." Priscilla Reyes happily told her daughter-in-law. "They even have the same grumpy look when they poop." Priscilla's comment made everyone laugh as they had seen the little boy do so.

"When will we go home?" Adrianna asked her husband as she continued to watch the baby in her arms.

"As soon as your doctor says you're strong enough to fly." Cedric said as he affectionately brushed Adrianna's hair.

"I would prefer to keep you here for another day, then we can all fly back." Miguel said with a nod. "You can continue to recover in Mountain View. I'll check up on you everyday and have a nurse take care of you."

"Don't you dare send Nurse Jen." Nicole threatened.

"What's wrong with Nurse Jen?" Alexi asked, clearly disappointed that the nurse who was usually at Kashmere wouldn't be going to the capital with them.

"Who is Nurse Jen?" Adrianna whispered to her husband.

Cedric laughed and whispered back. "I'll tell you when they leave, it's complicated. You were almost Miguel's last operation ever."

With Adrianna's health getting better, the whole group left Kashmere the next afternoon. When they arrived at the Capital a little before dinner time people at the airport were shocked to see the convoy of expensive vehicles and security that arrived.

Cedric helped his wife, who was carrying their son, get into their car as the others rode on their own.

Inside Cedric sighed as he watched the city speed past his window. One of the places they passed was a huge compound where a philanthropist had recently set up a school and home for orphaned children.

"Whoever built that place truly has a golden heart." Adrianna commented as they passed by.

"Why do you say so?" Cedric asked his wife.

"Well, he or she thought of everything. He built an orphanage with a school and all the children there are assessed and observed for where their strengths and passions are. The generous donor will then send them off to the University with the degree that will fit them." Adrianna said with a smile.

"Do you know the donor?" Cedric asked with a raised eyebrow.

"No. I just heard it from Natasha. Her family was the one that built the school. The donor only had a representative talk to them." Adrianna explained as she relaxed and closed her eyes.

Cedric took little Emilio from her arms and smiled a knowing smile. The orphanage and school was called the AHR campus, Adrianna's initials.

A month quickly passed after Adrianna gave birth to little Emilio, during that time she remained at home and was constantly looked after by the infamous Nurse Jen.

In the beginning Nicole was heavily against bringing Nurse Jen to the Capital due to Veronica's misunderstanding as well as her confusing relationship with Alexi. In the end Miguel and his mother, Lucy Chan, managed to convince Nicole to move Nurse Jen from Kashmere to the Capital temporarily as a private nurse to Adrianna. It was her skill as a private nurse that was the deciding factor to convince Nicole that it was Nurse Jen that Adrianna needed.

Cedric had hired two additional nannies to look after little Emilio, he was worried that watching over their son would tire Adrianna and hinder her recovery. His son on the other hand was a very well behaved baby, he didn't cry that much at night and his waking hours were mostly the same with his parents.

As the first child of the group little Emilio was showered with gifts by his many grandparents, uncles, and aunts. Everyday one of them would suddenly arrive at Mountain View to play with the baby and give him a new gift.

"Don't you guys have companies to run?" Cedric asked as he came home to find all of his friends in his living room attempting to bribe a confused baby.

"We're that good. Ray said with a smirk as he picked up little Emilio.

"He's barely a month old and yet he has more toys than most children at the age of twelve. Pick which toys you want him to keep! I'm donating the rest to the orphanage." Cedric threatened as he threw his friends out of his home.

On little Emilio's one month celebration Cedric banned everyone from giving him a gift since he already had too many things and Cedric felt that it was such a waste of money to buy his sonthings that he wouldn't appreciate yet.

The next day, after the one month celebration, Cedric was sitting in his office at Mor Co. when Ian informed him that his father, Emilio Reyes III, had asked for him to go to R Tower. Cedric assumed that his father must have wanted him there due to a sensitive issue so he quickly had Camilla arrange for everything that needed his attention to be sent to Mountain View after work.

Cedric quickly left wearing his disguise and within thirty minutes he was already walking into the doors of R Tower.

"Dad?" Cedric called out as he entered Emilio Reyes' room.

Cedric was suddenly pulled into a woman's warm embrace.
