Eric was furious at Katerina. She risked not only her safety but the other girls as well. He sped along the highway from the bar to Katerina's house.

"Eric, slow down!" Katerina shouted.

Eric refused to respond, he was mad at her. Too mad.

"Eric, I need to vomit!" Katerina shouted again.

Not wanting to endure the rest of the ride in a vomit scented car, Eric slowed the car and parked it in a dark area.

He made sure no one was around and got out of the car to help Katerina vomit. He held her up by the waist as he patted her soothingly on the back.

"Ugh you must find me so disgusting now." Katerina said as she finished vomiting.

"It's only normal." Eric said with a shrug.

"Stop tolerating me, Eric." Katerina said coldly as she fetched a wet wipe and some alcohol from her bag. "I've endangered your sister and the other girls, and I've vomited in front of you. Stop pretending that you won't be disgusted or hate me because of all of these."

Eric was at a loss for words. Was that why she was acting like this? Because she wanted him to see her as he saw everyone else?

When Eric didn't give her a response Katerina marched back into the car.

Eric shook his head and laughed at her zero tolerance attitude and climbed back into the driver's seat.

"I don't need you guys to protect me." Katerina said with a sigh as she leaned back on the car seat. "The girls were safe the whole time. I go to that bar often and no one has ever snapped photos of me there or posted it on the internet."

Eric gripped the wheel tightly as they cruised along the highway.

"It hasn't made it there because your brother and I have been stopping it." Eric said in a frustrated tone.

"Why would you do that?" Katerina said angrily. Her reaction was the complete opposite of what Eric had expected. Any ordinary girl would have been blushing and happy to hear that someone was watching over them, but not Katerina Sebastian.

"You know, most girls would be gushing at the thought of me protecting them." Eric commented, as he took a quick glance at her.

"Eyes on the road." Katerina scolded as she caught his attempt to see her reaction. Eric simply laughed at what she said and returned his focus to driving. "As if you didn't know, but I'm not most girls."

"No you aren't, you're better than them." Eric said in a sweet tone.

"Save your sweetness for you Calathea." Katerina said in a cold tone.

"Are you jealous Katerina?" Eric asked as they entered the gates of their community.

"Why would I be? You are like an elder brother to me." Katerina said casually, not worrying about how Eric would feel.

"I'm pretty sure you are feeling the same way I felt when I saw Ram hugging you." Eric accused. He could sense Katerina shifting in her seat, clearly uncomfortable that Eric had figured out her feelings. "And when will you realize that I don't like Calathea. No one can convince me to date her or even consider her to be a decent person."

"I don't know what you are talking about." Katerina said, as they stopped in her driveway.

Eric watched as Katerina tried to get out of the car, but due to the amount of alcohol she had consumed that night she struggled.

Eric smiled and took advantage of the situation, he ran up to her and picked her up.

"Let go of me Eric." Katerina complained. Eric had carried her in such a way that she had to wrap her arms around his neck to keep herself from falling.

"Katerina, stay put. If you keep moving I might drop you." Eric scolded, as he carried her closer to his chest. "You can't even get out of the car, how do you expect to make it to your room without falling down the stairs."

"I can manage." Katerina said as she hugged him tighter. She felt Eric's lips on her neck. "Behave." Katerina scolded.

"Did I ever tell you how good you smell?" Eric asked.

"Eric that's creepy!" Katerina shouted.

"Katerina, why do you keep rejecting me?" Eric finally asked. He didn't know why, but it felt like the right time to ask her. He felt Katerina tense up in his arms, his question had made her react. "Katerina, answer me." Eric said in a firm tone as he stopped inside, slamming the door behind him.

"I- I- I don't know." Katerina admitted as she buried her head on his chest.

"Katerina, why can't you give me a chance? Our timing is so off. When I liked you, you didn't like me. And when you liked me, my family was forcing me to be with someone else, I really just didn't want to hurt you at the time Katerina." Eric admitted as he placed Katerina on the couch.

"Eric, no. It's too complicated." Katerina said as she placed a hand on his chest. Eric could feel her cold hand as it was directly over his heart.

"How is it complicated? I like you and I hope to god you like me too!" Eric said as he held her small hand that she placed on his chest.

"Our families, and your fans. What if they find out about who you are? They'll say things like how you only got famous because Ram is your brother's friend. I could ruin your career Eric." Katerina said continuously as Eric pulled her into his arms. "Eric, my maids could come in at any time. Mind your boundaries."

"Then let's continue our conversation in your room." Eric said as he picked her up and brought her up the stairs. Katerina complained the whole way up to her room, but Eric ignored her.

Eric kicked open the door to her room and shut it behind him. He placed her gently on the bed, sat next to her and held her hands in his.

"Katerina, I don't care about my fans leaving me, as long as you don't." Eric said as he watched her expression thaw at his words.

"You're just stealing Miguel's lines!" Katerina accused as she pulled her hand from his.

"I'm serious Katerina!"Eric said. "I'm not asking you to love me or give yourself to me. All I'm asking for is a chance." Eric begged as he moved closer to her.

"Eric…" Katerina began to say when Eric held her face and kissed her.

Eric kissed Katerina gently but passionately, he was surprised when she began to kiss him back. He smiled as he began to kiss her more passionately, he picked her up and placed her on his lap, making Katerina gasp. He took advantage of this and pushed his tongue in. He pulled her closer, he wanted to kiss her more, to feel more of her, but at the same time he didn't want to rush her. This was his chance and he had no plans of wasting the opportunity.

After a while their lips finally parted, Eric had to admit Katerina was a good kisser and he wanted more than just that kiss. He placed a gentle peck on her lips again making her smile, he loved her smile.

"So I'm assuming this means you will give me a chance?" Eric teased.

Katerina laughed and nodded.
