"Dad, I don't love Aiden. I barely even know him." Amanda told her father.
Cedric noticed that people were now truly turning their attention to the rejected proposal. He quickly took out his phone to ask for help to change the situation.
"Aiden is the right kind of guy for you." Ivan Lobo insisted.
"Uncle Ivan, I don't mean any disrespect, but it's quite old fashioned to push your daughter to marry someone she doesn't love." Cedric said in support of the other couple.
"You have no voice here!" Ivan Lobo said in a raised voice.
"What's going on here?" Someone suddenly asked as the crowd parted. Cedric immediately knew who the person was when he heard the voice, it was Ray. He had arrived just in time.
"Oh, it's you Tony and Cedric. Oh hi Adrianna." Ray suddenly changed from his cold and intimidating tone to a much friendlier one. "What's going on here?"
"He tried proposing to her." Cedric pointed out. The Lobos were quite shocked that Cedric was talking so casually to someone that was many considered to be one of the top businessmen in the country. "But Amanda here, likes Tony." Cedric said with a shrug.
"So why is he proposing to Amanda?" Ayanna asked, she stood beside her husband, holding his hand.
"Cedric." Ivan Lobo scolded in a desperate attempt to keep him quiet.
"Amanda deserves a voice too." Charles Hernandes said as he gave a warning look at Ivan Lobo. "Don't let your fate be like my family's." At that warning Ivan Lobo was taken aback. The public knew that the Hernandez family encountered one misfortune after another, sending even it's elderly patriarch to one of the most dangerous and notorious prisons in the world.
"Do you mean your family offended -" Ivan Lobo began to ask until he was cut off by a young man.
"They offended someone they couldn't afford to offend." Alexi said as he looked at Adrianna's uncle.
"I'd like to think the Lobos are more flexible than the Hernandezes." Gracia told her brother. "Listen to what Amanda is saying."
"I will not let this child's willful actions waste what could be a fruitful partnership for our families." Ivan Lobo said in a loud voice.
"Really? You think this boy brings more to the table than Tony?" Ram asked as he laughed. At the same time the people in the restaurant noticed that he was holding a woman's hand and began to snap photos of them together.
"He has a more reliable nature and he does not bring scandal." Patricia Lobo answered back.
"Hey woman, are you really challenging the four princes right now?" A bystander asked. His question seemed to snap some sense into the Lobos. They suddenly realized that they weren't speaking to some random friends of Cedric and Tony, but rather to some of the richest and most powerful people around.
"I really don't like it when people speak ill of my friends." Ray said with a mischievous grin. "Honey, do you think your brother would get mad if I banned this couple?" Ray said as he looked tenderly at Ayanna.
Ayanna had already spotted Cedric nodding so she knew what to do.
"Tony is a business partner and a friend of my brother, he won't mind." Ayanna said with a nod.
The whole time Cedric was trying to gauge his wife's reaction. In the past he always practiced restraint when dealing with her rotten family members, he genuinely felt bad for his wife for being associated with these kinds of people. He was lucky this time that Adrianna did not stop him from punishing her uncle and aunt, he was doing this anyway for her cousin and Tony.
"Manager, escort this couple out of the restaurant." Ayanna said as she pointed at Ivan and Patricia Lobo. Cedric could clearly see the fear in the couple's eyes, they had forgotten who they had offended.
"Cedric quick! Help us out." Ivan Lobo said to the man he had been ridiculing moments ago.
"Sure uncle." Cedric said with a cold smile. "Adrianna, do you mind waiting here with mom, dad, Tony, Amanda, and our son? I'll just take your relatives to the hotel they are staying at."
Adrianna nodded, making her relative's jaws drop in shock. Their niece had just let them be thrown out and banned from one of the top establishments in the country.
"Join us?" Ayanna asked Adrianna, who nodded and pulled Amanda with her towards the Reyes' private room.
Cedric on the other hand went down with Adrianna's Lobo relatives. Upon their arrival they were greeted by a man, to whom Cedric tossed a set of keys to.
"Get them a room at Constellations." Cedric ordered.
"You cannot do this to us!" Ivan Lobo shouted. "We are your wife's relatives."
"Either you go with the man of your own free will or you will be forced out of R Tower. When the Reyes Family says something, they mean it." Cedric warned.
"Grandma, Grandpa, Jam, I'm sorry you're stuck in the middle of this. I suggest you go with Uncle Ivan and Aunt Patricia to the hotel. We will visit you tomorrow, I just want to avoid involving you in this trouble." Cedric knew that Adrianna's Lobo Grandparents shared the same principles as the couple, but they were old and had not pushed Amanda earlier so he was much gentler to them. As for Jam he could clearly see that the young man was quite different from his elders, although Cedric did not understand his fascination with them, he still hadn't done anything wrong.
The elder couple simply nodded and climbed into the van, this surprised Cedric as he was expecting to have an argument with them.
"Cousin, can I stay?" Jam Lobo asked. "The princes are there and you know I'm a fan. It's my dream to meet them." Jam begged.
Cedric paused for a while and considered letting the young man come along.
"Can you promise to keep whatever you see a secret?" Cedric asked.
"Yes!" Jam said excitedly.
"They'll make you sign documents, making you accountable if anything leaks from tonight." Cedric warned Adrianna's cousin.
"I can do that. I don't care if I can't tell anyone. I just want to meet them." Jam promised.
"Fine. But, don't forget they'll make you sign things so you don't blab." Cedric warned again, to which Jam just vigorously nodded his head.
"Alright." Cedric finally agreed.
Ivan and Patricia Lobo looked like they still wanted to argue, but they eventually gave in and climbed into the car as well.
Behind Cedric a confused Aiden still stood, watching as this so-called, good for nothing, nephew managed to send the elders away.
"I haven't forgotten about you." Cedric said without facing Aiden.
