When the gathering ended Alexi was more than happy to go home, he enjoyed everyone's company but he was excited to get Jen alone at his home.

"Jen's staying over?" Cedric asked Alexi as Cedric walked the couple out the door. Jen was currently out of earshot and chatting happily with Adrianna.

"I'm going to convince her." Alexi said with a shrug. Jen's apartment was quite far away while Alexi's mansion was just down the road.

"That won't be a problem for you." Cedric said with a laugh.

"Trust me, it's tougher than it seems." Alexi said as he shook his head. "I'm glad she gets along well with Adrianna." Alexi told Cedric as he looked at the two women who were laughing.

"Of course they get along well. She lived here for six months spending almost every moment looking after my wife. They became quite close after that." Cedric smiled as he looked at Adrianna and Jen.

"You don't need to pretend. I know you aren't excited about the idea of me dating Jen." Alexi said as he shook his head.

"I'm not against her, I just don't fully trust her. Something doesn't add up in her history with Selina Ramirez." Cedric told Alexi. "I had Selina investigated and nothing came up to indicate she's a bad person, and yet the way you and Jen talk about her it's as if she isn't nice. Even your mom and dad sing praises about Selina when Jen isn't around."

"Cedric, I don't see any reason for Jen to lie to me. You're the most logical one in our group, I'm the one chasing after Jen, she doesn't need to pretend to be immaculate to get me to love her, I already do. I love her for all her imperfections, they're what make her perfect to me." Alexi said as he tried to explain things to Cedric.

"I know Alexi, but something just keeps nagging at me." Cedric said with a sigh, he wanted to be on Alexi's side, his friend deserved love, he deserved happiness. "Well, at least you know she has Adrianna's, Nicole's, Miguel's, and Eric's vote. I think Ram and Ray are fine with her too. Katerina is probably just acting oddly because she's being careful. Has Natalia said anything about this?"

"Yeah. She likes Jen. As a matter of fact, when she came home for a visit last month Natalia took Jen shopping." Alexi said proudly, at least one sister liked the girl he loved.

"Just work on Katerina and I'll work on getting rid of this doubt." Cedric advised. "I want to see you move on in love Alexi, and I know Jen can help you."

"Thanks Cedric." Alexi said as he placed a hand on Cedric's shoulder.

"What are you two boys whispering about?" Adrianna said from a distance.

Alexi smiled and pushed Cedric over to the two women. They were still happily talking and the two men didn't want to interrupt.

"It's alright, I was just telling Jen where she can buy the most durable and affordable shoes in the city." Adrianna explained to Cedric and Alexi.

"Jen, you don't have to use cheap shoes, I gave you my card, use that to buy something expensive." Alexi suddenly said.

"Alexi you know I don't want to take advantage of you, I don't want people to think that I'm only with you for the money." Jen complained.

"Why does their opinion have to matter Jen?" Alexi asked as he pulled her to him. "Isn't it the only opinion that should matter are yours and mine? What's in your heart and what's in mine?"

"Alexi." Jen complained as she was embarrassed that he had done this infront of Cedric and Adrianna.

"Jen you know that you are the only woman in my heart." Alexi said as he planted a kiss on Jen's lips.

"I never knew you could be this sweet." Cedric teased as he laughed at his friend.

"Grow up Cedric." His wife scolded as she rolled her eyes.

"Have a good night guys." Cedric said with a wink as Adrianna turned him around to leave.

Jen and Alexi were left alone in the driveway of Mountain View as Alexi continued to hold Jen in his arms.

"Why do you have to be like that in front of them?" Jen complained as she tried to push Alexi off of her.

"I want to prove that I'm serious about you." Alexi said as he lowered his lips to capture hers once more. He kissed her passionately this time, he was happy that she didn't stop him and even kissed him back.

When Alexi finally released her lips he grinned at Jen and held her hand as they walked back to his car.

"I'm happy you and Adrianna get along so well." Alexi said. "Adrianna is the key to winning Cedric over."

"She's alright." Jen said with a shrug. "It would be odd if we didn't get along well, I took care of her, remember?"

"How could I forget?" Alexi said as he placed an arm around Jen's waist. "It's the reason why you're here in the capital now. If it weren't for Adrianna, I wouldn't be able to do this."

As Alexi spoke he leaned Jen against his car and left a trail of kisses on her neck making Jen moan in pleasure. His arms wrapped around her as he pressed himself against her letting her feel his need. His lips eventually found hers once more and he kissed her passionately as his hands explored her body.

"I hate clothes." Alexi whispered into her ear making Jen blush.

"Alexi, seriously? We're in public, stop that." Jen scolded.

"It never bothered you before." Alexi said with a wink.

"Alexi." Jen complained, making Alexi laugh as he stole a kiss on her lips. Alexi held her hand and walked her over to the passenger's side. Like a real gentleman he opened the door for her and helped her in. He then ran to the driver's seat and drove off.

"Jen, am I really just for your physical satisfaction?" Alexi complained as they exited the Mountain View grounds.
