"That's him. Calathea's new boyfriend is Regis Inc.'s new CEO." Cedric told Ace with a nod.

"Well, I've seen him, but we can never get a good look at his face." Ace said with a shrug. "He always sees to it that his face is turned from the public, plus his cars are heavily tinted, we've tried following him to the airport, but he doesn't use any of the public spaces so we have a hard time catching a glimpse of him. But by the looks of it, Calathea has fallen hard. I was quite shocked when I first saw them together, I thought this whole time that she was still in love with Eric, but I guess Katerina and Eric finally being together has discouraged her."

Cedric frowned, he thought that Ace and his people would have at least something on the man, unfortunately this new CEO was just as careful as him.

"We'll keep an eye out for him. I doubt he comes here just for Calathea." Ace said as he began thinking of ways for them to find the identity out. "We've been suspecting that he leaves the Carpio home as an ordinary employee, so we'll check that out first. The problem is that he hasn't been back for a while, I think it's because Calathea went back home. If we see anything, we'll report back to you." Ace promised.

"Thanks Ace." Cedric said with a nod. "You can go now. I know you have a lot of work to finish."

"No problem cousin." Ace said as he left the office.

Cedric decided to focus all his energy at the work at hand. Since he took over his father's position there were many new projects he wanted to develop. He was working with the Japanese government to usher in technological advancements to the country through the Reyes Group. He also began entering several new industries, most of them were those that he had been studying prior to his father's announcement.

It was already dark outside when he heard someone knock at his door.

"Yes?" Cedric asked without looking up.

"It's almost dinner time, are you really going to keep working?" Adrianna asked as she entered the room and walked over to him.

"Why are you here?" Cedric asked. He wanted his wife to relax, not worry about him.

"It's already late Cedric, we were worried about you." Adrianna told him as she played with his hair.

Cedric closed his eyes and sighed, he ran to work because he was stressed and worried about MT Summit.

Adrianna was taken by surprise when Cedric pulled her to his lap and kissed her hungrily. Cedric felt Adrianna wrap her arms around his neck as she kissed him back, whenever he felt sad he knew that a kiss from his wife could drive the dark clouds away in an instant.

"I had a rough day." Cedric confessed as their lips parted.

"I guessed." Adrianna said with a smile as she kissed him on the lips. "Let's go home, everyone is worried about you. Eric and Miguel tried to convince me not to come and get you, but I was too worried." Adrianna said as she caressed his cheek.

"Alright, work can wait till tomorrow." Cedric said with a nod as he placed Adrianna back on her feet and called Dave in to gather his things.

When they got down the family car was already waiting for Adrianna and Cedric.

"How did you get here?" Cedric asked his wife as they got into the car.

"I had your driver pick me up. It's not like he was doing anything else." Adrianna said with a laugh.

"Dave, let's take tomorrow off." Cedric told Dave who had just climbed into the front seat. "Tell Ian he can take the day off too. We've been working non-stop since the turnover. I think we need to get out and have some fun."

"Alright sir." Dave said as he quickly sent a message to Ian. "I'm sure Ian will be happy about this."

"He will. He specifically asked to stay just to spend time with Nicole. This will be good for them." Cedric said with a nod.

"Are you ready to let go of Ian?" Adrianna asked as she leaned on her husband's chest.

"No, but Ian has to help Nicole, and the Chans are like family to me." Cedric said with a sigh. "Besides I have Dave and Mae."

"Don't worry Dave, that's a compliment." Adrianna said with a laugh as she noticed the man in front stiffen. "Although it also means you'll probably lose your personal life."

"Don't scare the kid, I'm not a slave driver." Cedric said as he rolled his eyes.

"Just a work-a-holic." Dave mumbled making the driver laugh.

"You said something Dave?" Cedric called out from the back seat.

"Nothing boss!" Dave said as he glared at the driver.

When they finally made it back to the Reyes Home, Miguel and Eric were anxiously waiting for Cedric, which Cedric found odd.

"A word?" Eric said as he called Cedric to the side.

"Go in ahead, I'll follow." Cedric told Adrianna as he planted a kiss on the side of her head.

"Don't stress him out." Adrianna warned Miguel and Eric as she left.

"I can make no promises." Miguel said as she shook his head and walked to the side of the house with Cedric.

"What is it?" Cedric asked when they were finally out of everyone's earshot.

"Someone sent us a message today." Eric told Cedric as he showed him a piece of paper.

"And you just took a piece of paper from a complete stranger?" Cedric said as he took it from Eric's hands.

"Don't be silly, we had Leon check it." Eric explained. "It was sent to the hospital where Miguel saw a patient. It was clearly meant for him."

"Leon said it was clean?" Cedric asked as he looked at the folded piece of paper.

"Yes, we even asked for Leon's help to look for the person who brought the document, but the person is good. No cameras caught sight of him and no one can remember how he looked. All we know is that it's a man." Miguel explained.

"Why did you use Leon and not your own team?" Cedric asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Cause Leon is better than our team. Plus we were waiting for you to get out of your trance." Miguel said with a shrug as he recalled the awkward situation of having to watch Cedric do nothing for an hour.

"I was digesting things." Cedric groaned.

"If you need any psychological help, I hope you don't forget that I'm a doctor too." Eric said with a sincere look on his face. Cedric shook his head in response, he knew if he needed any help he could approach the man that he saw as an older brother.

"You opened it?" Cedric asked the Chan brothers, to which Eric and Miguel simply nodded.

"What does it say?" Cedric asked as he started to open the document.

"Read it." Miguel told Cedric with a nod. "If I told you the message you wouldn't believe me at all."
