Cedric stood beside Ray as the groom fidgeted on the raised altar. For some reason the female members of the entourage had not entered yet which puzzled Cedric. He couldn't help but worry about his wife and son who were on the other side of the door together with his sister and their parents.
Cedric spotted Leon walking over to him, he excused himself and walked over to Leon.
"Sir, for some reason the members of the press and the paparazzi had managed to make it in time for the bridal entourage to enter the church." Leon reported, worrying Cedric. "Don't worry boss, we managed to spot them in time and we are currently dealing with the matter, they have been relegated to a spot at a safe distance from the church. They can still take photos but they are too far off."
"Good, thank you for organizing everything." Cedric said with a nod.
"It wasn't me sir. It was Dave and Mae." Leon informed Cedric.
"They shouldn't be working. They are both here as guests." Cedric said in surprise. He never thought that his two young assistants would step up to the challenge and help out despite being off the clock. "I'll make sure to thank them properly at the reception."
Leon nodded and left to return to his post. Cedric took a deep breath and looked at his friends who were clearly anxious. Their wives, sisters, girlfriends, and child were on the other side of the door too, they couldn't help but be worried.
"Leon told me that the paparazzi had caught wind of the wedding." Cedric told the other me. "Everything has been settled, the girls should be coming in soon."
The boys simply nodded and relaxed, it seemed the delay had really made them worry.
It took a few minutes for the doors to finally open, the first to walk in were Emilio and Tristan. Emilo smiled as he spotted his father, he was about to break out into a run then Cedric held out a hand signaling him to slow down.
Emilio did as his father asked and walked slowly, suddenly he stopped and turned. He saw Tristan getting distracted, the little boy was walking towards one of the pews, reaching out for a vase.
Emilio ran up and held Tristan's hand. He then led his wobbly little friend towards the right direction.
Cedric beamed with pride as he son helped the younger boy walk up towards the right direction.
"It seems your kid had to take care of mine." Ian said with a laugh.
"Don't worry, you guys have Saints so in the future it will be your son watching over mine." Cedric said with a laugh as they watched the two boys finally make it to the end of the aisle.
Emilio and Tristan were both so handsome in their suits that people couldn't help but take photos of them as they walked up. Many guests posted it as soon as they snapped the photos.
Gracia Hernandez and Lucy Chan were already waiting for the boys when they reached the end of the aisle, they were there for two things, first was to make sure the boys behaved and went to their seats, the second being to make sure that they didn't suddenly run up to their fathers.
Emilio was less of a problem, he understood that if his daddy was wearing a mask he couldn't be his daddy. But if Cedric had the mask off, Emilio could be as affectionate as he wanted towards Cedric.
Tristan on the other hand began to cry as Lucy took him away. He wanted his daddy or mommy, but his mommy was behind the door so he wanted to be with his daddy. Tristan was too young to understand how complex their lives were. His tears make Ian frown as he called out for his dad.
Cedric saw Ian frown as his crying son was taken away.
The attention soon shifted from the two boys to the doors, it had opened once again and the rest of the bridal entourage entered.
Among Ayanna's entourage were several university friends including Tricia Sanchez and Krista Von. Of course the other sisters were also part of the entourage as bridesmaids, Nicole Chan, Veronica Abad - Chan, Natalia Sebastian, and Katerina Sebastian walked gracefully down the aisle. They gave Rey an encouraging smile as they passed.
The last two to enter the church were the two most important women in Cedric's life, his wife and his sister. He had prepared mentally the whole day, reminding himself not to stare or show any emotion as his wife walked into the church. There were many eyes watching, and it was already quite dangerous that both Cedric and the CEO's wife weren't there.
A part of him just wanted the rumors of Adrianna being his mistress to circulate. It didn't matter anyway, they knew the truth and those rumor mongers would only end up embarrassing themselves when the truth came out.
Cedric knew that those rumors might not do him any damage, but they would most certainly hurt Adrianna and her company. The world worked differently for men and women, it was alright for rich men to have mistresses, but for women it was frowned upon. In Cedric's opinion it should always be frowned upon.
He was drawn back from his thoughts as he saw a sole figure walking down the aisle, it was his wife, Adrianna. She might not have been the bride today but she captured everyone's attention. She wore a silk lilac gown that accentuated her curves perfectly.
Even after carrying his son, Adrianna looked as if she were a model in her early twenties. As Cedric watched her glide gracefully across the aisle he couldn't help but think how she would look when it was her turn.
He swore that someday he would give her the wedding she deserved, one fit for the new mistress of the Reyes Family. He knew he owed her that and he could only hope that it would happen soon.
As Adrianna passed the altar and stood waiting for the bride, she flashed her husband a loving smile and Cedric simply nodded.
Soon the wedding march was played and everyone was invited to stand as the bride and her parents would walk down the aisle.
Emilio Reyes III would symbolically hand over his daughter to her new husband so that they could truly start a life together.
As the grand doors swung open an immaculate image in white walked in. Ayanna looked beautiful and elegant in her wedding gown.
Ayanna wore a white A-line cut gown with a sweetheart neckline, the gown was made of french lace and various crystals. It had a ten foot long train that trailed behind Ayanna and her parents. Cedric couldn't help but feel proud of his sister, she looked every bit of a successful woman as she walked down the aisle.
Cedric watched as his father handed Ayanna over to Ray for the ceremony.
"Cherish her." Emilio Reyes III said as he patted Ray on the shoulder.
"I always have." Ray said with a smile as he held his wife's hand.
