Adrianna had followed Mae to the hospital lounge, patients and their guests normally waited there as their cars arrived or as they waited their turn to see a doctor. Today however, it had been closed off as per the instructions of the Chan family.

"Who is so important that you need to close off the whole lounge?" A familiar shrill voice complained to one of the hospital staff.

"Ma'am, we aren't allowed to disclose that." The staff calmly told the woman.

"Unbelievable! Do you have any idea how much I have spent here? I have had all my operations done in this hospital!" The woman complained.

Adrianna wanted to laugh when she noticed who was complaining, it was Lorisa de Jesus.

"Ma'am I'm sorry but you really can't stay here." The staff said, repeating himself.

"Don't you fucking know who I am?" Lorisa asked angrily. She was accompanied by her friend Mary and a maid who was pushing a baby's stroller behind them.

"Ma'am regardless of who you are, we have our policies." The staff reiterated.

"My uncle is the freaking head of the Dermatology department!" Lorisa shouted, boasting her connections. "You are just a mere member of the staff!"

"You know, you shouldn't look down at the hospital staff that way." Adrianna said as she gathered her courage to speak up.

There was nothing holding her back now, she was the wife of the CEO of the Reyes Group, she was the next matriarch of the Reyes Clan. She knew her mother in law hadn't passed the title and duties to her because Cedric hadn't revealed himself to the world yet.

But things were different now, at that very moment her husband was probably walking up to the stage, ready to reveal his identity in front of the media. In a few minutes their images would be plastered everywhere and their lives would no longer be private.

"What right do you have to speak to me?" Lorisa scoffed. "You might have become the CEO of your own company, but my husband is still better than yours."

"Really Lorisa?" Adrianna said as she placed a hand to her hip. "Are you still so hung up on who married better?" Adrianna asked.

"You can try to compensate for his inability to provide for you and your son properly, if that boy is even his son, but Cedric Reyes is still a nobody, a poor orphan with nothing." Lorisa hissed.

"Before I utterly crush your disillusioned assumptions, I want to tell you that Emilio is 100% mine and Cedric's." Adrianna told her. She knew Lorisa wouldn't be able to resist not giving a come back, she knew Lorisa.

"Don't lie Adrianna, lying does not suit your pretty face." Lorisa said with a laugh. "Everyone knows that that bastard's real father is the CEO of the Reyes Group."

"If that were the case, shouldn't you be watching your tone?" Adrianna said with a smirk.

"He may be of the Reyes blood but he is probably ignored." Mary said, backing her friend up.

"Mommy, am I ignored?" Emilio asked as he looked up at his mother.

"Of course not Yoyo." Adrianna said as she smiled at her son. "If you were ignored then every child in this world would be ignored." Adrianna couldn't help but laugh at the thought.

Everyone in the Reyes Family spoiled her son, even Cedric's cousin, Ace, spoiled the little boy rotten. It honestly surprised Adrianna that her son had remained so level headed despite getting everything in life at a whim. She was hoping that he would remain that way as he grew older.

"If he was such a treasured member of the Reyes Family, they would have made the young madam of the Reyes Family care for him." Mary said with a grin.

"Interesting, the young madam." Adrianna said with a smile.

"Are you stupid or something Adrianna." Lorisa said with a laugh. "The young madam, the CEO's wife. The woman who would end you in an instant for flaunting your relationship with the CEO."

"I've never said I was a mistress." Adrianna said with a grin as she took a step closer to Lorisa.

For some reason, Cedric coming out as who he truly was, as the CEO of the Reyes Group made her braver. In the past she would have normally just deflected and ran away, but today she felt like fighting.

Mae looked at her boss' wife with a smile. The mistress did not need help, if Adrianna had needed help Mae would have stepped in, but there was no need.

Adrianna was like a tiger playing with her prey, making Lorisa fall deeper into the pit before making the final strike.

Mae was amused by what Adrianna was doing, it was well deserved and she was finally happy to see that her boss' wife was finally going to put the annoying people in place. This wasn't Mae's first run in with Lorisa and Mae, she had seen how Lorisa treated Cedric himself. Initially she didn't understand why her boss didn't just get rid of them, but as she spent more time working for him she realized that that wasn't the Reyes way.

"Mae, have my husband's bodyguards throw the trash away." Adrianna said with a grin. "But tell them to be careful with the child." Adrianna said in a whisper, the child was innocent, he had nothing to do with his mother's stupidity.

"What?" Lorisa asked with a laugh. "Are you seriously ordering the CEO's assistant to have us escorted out?"

"Adrianna, you think too highly of yourself." Mary scoffed at her.

"Madam, the boss said to ensure your safety first." Mae said humble, joining in Adrianna's game.

"I want them gone." Adrianna hissed. She knew Mae was only doing this to make her seem more intimidating.

"But Mrs. Reyes, the CEO asked us to put your safety first. His wife is always the priority." Mae added. She was hoping that the bitches weren't too stupid to not pick up on that.

"What the fuck?" Lorisa said in shock. "This is a fucking joke!" Lorisa shouted.

"What is a joke?" Adrianna asked as she raised an eyebrow at Lorisa.

"You can't be her." Lorisa said.

"I suggest tuning into the news once the guards have taken you out." Adrianna said with a smirk as she walked away and entered the lounge.

She could hear Lorisa and Mary shouting hysterically as her bodyguards forced them out of the building. Adrianna didn't want to use force on people, but she couldn't help but admit, having Lorisa dragged out by her bodyguards was very satisfying.
