As the explosion went off Cedric felt his driver step on the gas as he tried to get them to safety.

"What's going on?" Adrianna asked as she tried to look back when the driver suddenly stepped on the breaks.

Lucky Cedric managed to catch his wife before she got thrown across the car.

"What the hell?" Cedric asked as he looked towards the front of the car.

"Sir they have blocked us." Cedric's driver said as he pointed towards the cars and armed men that created a barricade in front of their vehicle, blocking the path.

"Dave, have men come over, take them from the ones guarding the Reyes Mansion, that one is the closest." Cedric ordered Dave.

"But Cedric, Jen." Adrianna said as she gave her husband a worried look.

"I don't care if they get Jen." Cedric told his wife. "What use is keeping her if everyone we love and care about will be killed."

Adrianna was stunned at Cedric's words, she simply nodded and checked on their son.

"Where are the others?" Cedric asked his driver. "Can you see my dad's car or my sister's?"

"Sir we are the only car inside their barricade." The driver told him as he scanned the vicinity.

"How is that possible?" Cedric askaed. "Dad's car was right in front of us."

"They managed to get through before our path was blocked." The driver explained. "They moved really fast sir. My apologies."

"It's not something you could have controlled." Cedric told his driver.

"Dave, try contacting Alexi or Ray as well, see if they can help." Cedric told his assistant who simply nodded and did as he asked.

"Sir, they aren't moving." The driver said as he pointed at the people who were blocking their way. "What do you want me to do?"

Cedric observed their surroundings, as long as no one dropped a nuclear bomb he and his family would be safe inside their car.

What worried Cedric were the people outside, he knew that Ray and Ayanna had come in one of Ray's sports cars. Those didn't have as much protection as Cedric's Rolls Royces, their enemies could quickly turn on the crowd that had gathered outside the cemetery as well.

"Let's wait and see what they want first." Cedric instructed his driver. "We aren't even sure who is behind this attack."

"It's probably Aiden." Adrianna said as she looked up at her husband.

"It could be, but the Reyes family has a lot of enemies, Aiden is just the most recent and the boldest of them." Cedric explained to his wife, although at the back of his head he was already suspecting that this was a diversionary tactic by Aiden.

"So we will wait and do nothing?" Adrianna asked her husband.

"It's the practical thing to do." Cedric said with a nod.

"Sir, Mr. Alexi said that they managed to get everyone into the safety of the mausoleum." Dave told Cedric from the front seat. "While he and Mr. Ray are trying to figure out a way to help us."

"Tell them to keep everyone safe first." Cedric instructed. "I'm sure that whoever is behind this will show themselves soon."

Cedric watched as everything outside stood still, if it weren't for the clock inside the car he wouldn't have known that thirty minutes had already passed since they were attacked.

"Sir, the additional men have arrived." Dave said as he placed his phone down.

Just as Cedric was about to give his instructions, a helicopter arrived and landed not too far away from Cedric's car.

Soon enough Cedric spotted Aiden alighting from the helicopter with several men following him.

"Tell Alexi and Ray to stay alert, Aiden is here." Cedric said as he watched Aiden approach.

Out of nowhere Cedric's phone began to ring. He looked at the screen and found an unknown number.

When he looked up he saw Aiden, waving a phone, telling him to answer the call.

"Don't." Adrianna told her husband with a worried look. "What if it's a trap?" Adrianna asked.

"I'm sure it's a trap." Cedric said in response. "But what can I do. At least this way I can buy the others time to formulate a plan."

"Sir, Mr. Alexi said we are still heavily outnumbered, he is asking for more guards to come from the other properties, but it will take time." Dave told Cedric.

"Tell him I can buy us some time. But hurry." Cedric said as he picked up the call.

"Aiden." Cedric said.

"Ah Cedric." Aiden said with a laugh. "It's so interesting that I had the CEO of the Reyes Group standing right in front of me so many times and yet I didn't figure it out."

"Same to you Aiden." Cedric replied.

"Tsk tsk tsk. Such short answers." Aiden said in a disappointed tone. "Don't worry Cedric, I won't harm any of you."

"I'm sorry Aiden, but I can't believe someone like you." Cedric said.

"Like me? A liar?" Aiden asked. "Cedric, don't forget, you and I are one and the same."

"I may have lied about my identity Aiden, but I have never killed someone in cold blood." Cedric said as he remembered Jam's cruel murder.

"Well that boy was annoying anyway." Aiden said with a chuckle.

"You asshole!" Cedric said angrily. "Jam was innocent!"

"So was my sister! So were all the people you and your kind have sent to jail just for offending them." Aiden answered back.

Cedric was stunned at the mention of a sister.

"Shocked are we?" Aiden asked in a cold tone. "Yes, my two year old little sister was in that car when my parents died!"

"There wasn't anything about a young girl -" Cedric began to say when he was cut off by Aiden.

"Of course the report won't say that here was a little girl." Aiden hissed. "My sister, my innocent Dahlia, she was two, mom and dad brought her with them when they were accused of kidnapping Katerina Sebastian."

"Your parents did kidnap Katerina." Cedric rebutted.

"That's what they tell you." Aiden said over the phone. "That's what they want you to think, of course they needed someone to blame, that bitch ran away."

"Katerina was ten! Don't drag her into this." Cedric replied.

"Either way my parents and my sister were innocent in all of this." Aiden insisted. "Katerina Sebastian's immature actions caused their death!"

"Katerina was fucking ten!" Cedric shouted. "And they would never kill an innocent family just to cover Katerina's tracks."

"They didn't know till after." Aiden revealed.
