"What the fuck?" Alexi said when he got out of Cedric's car, he had ridden with Adrianna and Emilio to the hospital.

There were bodyguards running around everywhere, he was stunned to see them in a form of organized chaos.

"What's going on?" Alexi asked as he stopped one of the bodyguards.

"Mr. Sebastian, sir, it's Mr. Reyes, he is missing. Mr. Laurance and Dr. Chan are searching for him." The bodyguard informed Alexi.

"What? How?" Alexi asked angrily. He was about to question the guard further when he noticed Adiranna and Emilio stepping out.

"Is something wrong Alexi?" Adrianna asked as walked up with Emilio.

"No, nothing." Alexi quickly said, shaking his head.

He looked up and spotted Dave, Adrianna didn't need to know that her injured husband was now missing.

"Dave, do you mind taking Adrianna and Yoyo to a nearby restaurant first?" Alexi asked the assistant who gave him a puzzled look.

"Alexi, I want to see my husband." Adrianna insisted.

"Dave, a word." Alexi said as he signaled Dave to the side. "Adrianna would you and Yoyo mind waiting inside the car for a bit, we also need to have the area sweeped for possible threats."

The intrigued assistant could do nothing but follow Alexi to the side.

"Cedric is missing." Alexi revealed with a sigh. "Take Yoyo and Adrianna to Constellations for lunch, it's the safest place I can think of at the moment. I'll call when Cedric has been found."

"How can the boss be missing? Wasn't he unconscious?" Dave was confused as to how his boss could have gone missing.

"I don't know either, but I'm going to make Ray and Miguel explain how this could have happened." Alexi was frustrated at what had happened, but there was no use complaining about it. "I'm sure the whole building was crawling with security, so I don't know how an injured man could have left."

"Could he have been kidnapped?" Dave asked.

"I doubt." Alexi said as he took a look around the area. "The security is too tight."

Dave sighed and shook his head. "I'll tell Mae to come over and help. She's currently with Camilla, handling the casualties."

"No need. We can handle this." Alexi said. "Go and see to it that Adrianna and Yoyo have lunch."

Dave nodded and walked back to the car.

Alexi watched as Cedric's Rolls Royce drove away, he let out a sigh when they exited the hospital grounds and he was sure that Adrianna would not make their driver turn back.

He took a deep breath and walked into the hospital. Luckily he bumped into one of Ray's trusted aids and pulled him by the collar.

"Where are Ray and Miguel, and what is going on?" Alexi asked the man.

When he realized that it was Alexi that had grabbed him he panicked.

"The boss said we had thirty minutes." The man said as he tried to hide his face, it seemed he was worried that Alexi would punch him.

"Where are they?" Alexi asked again, this time practically growling his question.

"They are at the top floor. The man quickly said, he was clearly afraid of offending Alexi. "I saw them running to the roof."

Alexi dropped the man and quickly headed up to the elevator.

When the doors opened to the rooftop he was shocked at what he saw.

Cedric was standing by the ledge while Ray and Miguel were clearly in a panic.

"Cedric, Cedric." Alexi heard Ray call out. "Dude, seriously we need to talk."

"Cedric, can you hear us bro?" Miguel shouted.

"You guys are stupid." Alexi said as he passed the panicking pair.

"What the fuck Alexi. Don't -" Miguel shouted as he watched Alexi march towards Cedric.

Alexi ignored him and kept walking. When he got to Cedric he quickly yanked his friend from the ledge.

"Cedric, are you fucking crazy?" Alexi asked as he dragged his friend away.

"I'm not." Cedric said in a sad tone.

"Cedric, you're still injured." Ray shouted as he ran up to meet Cedric and Alexi.

"Quick, Cedric what do you remember?" Miguel asked.

"Are you really playing at an amnesia angle?" Alexi asked Miguel as he eyed his friend suspiciously.

"It's not impossible, Nicole lost bits of her memory because of Jen. So it is possible with Cedric, plus he was unconscious for a while because he lacked blood, that can also result in memory loss." Miguel explained.

"This is real life, not some sort of drama your wife watches." Alexi said, rolling his eyes.

"My wife does not watch those dramas, I do." Miguel said proudly, making Ray and Alexi laugh.

"Oh shut up you two." Miguel rolled his eyes and returned his attention to Cedric.

"I'm fine." Cedric grumbled. "I remember everything." He said with a frown.

"Why were you up here?" Alexi asked as he led the boys off of the roof.

"I needed air, space." Cedric said with a shrug as they entered the elevator. "Did you know that Jen is dead?" Cedric asked with a sad look in his eyes.

"Yeah." Alexi responded in a sad tone. "I can't say that I mourn her loss, but she was still someone to me and I did have feelings for her. I don't feel guilty about her death though, she chose to make her bed with Aiden, so this was all on her."

"All the lives lost, because of me, because of us." Cedric began as he thought of the guards that had been killed.

"They knew what they signed up for." Miguel said with a shrug. "There is always that risk."

"But they didn't have to die." Cedric said in a shaky voice.

"Cedric, it's not your fault." Ray finally said as he picked up on the guilt Cedric was feeling. "There is only one man to blame in this and that's Aiden Ortiz."

"He told me something, and I guess it's been messing with me." Cedric frowned. "I kept playing and playing over in my head while I was unconscious."

"What was it?" Alexi asked.

"He claims that his parents were innocent, that uncle Jose and uncle Benedicto had thought Katerina was kidnapped, when in fact, Katerina ran away and was found by his parents." Cedric said as he recounted what Aiden had told him.

"You can't possibly believe Aiden over our uncles?" Miguel asked as he gave Cedric a suspicious look.

"There was another thing, something I need to know the answer to." Cedric said as he shook his head, ignoring Miguel's question.

"What is it?" Alexi asked.

"According to Aiden, there was a third passenger in the car, his younger sister." Cedric said, surprising his friends. "I need to know if that's true."

"It's true." An older voice said from the elevator.

Cedric and the others turned to see their fathers as they arrived from the funeral.
