Cedric had fallen asleep while on video call with his son and wife. He missed both of them terribly last night so he had asked if they could call till they fell asleep.

He smiled as he glanced at his phone that he had propped up with a pillow, Adrianna was snoring softly as more than half of the screen was covered by Yoyo's cute face.

Nothing beat the sight of waking up to his wife and son as they slept the morning away.

Cedric took his phone everywhere with him, waiting for both to wake up.

He was eating his breakfast when Adrianna began to stir.

"Good morning my love." Cedric said in a tender tone, making Adrianna smile.

"How long have you been up?" Adrianna asked as she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes.

"An hour or so." Cedric said as he took a bite of his breakfast.

"Are Ian and the others with you?" Adrianna asked as she sat up and lifted the phone.

"Yes, they are here." Cedric told her as he turned the camera to face his waving assistants.

Adrianna had never been one to care too much about her looks. She didn't mind that Cedric's assistants would see her in such a sleepy state.

"Good morning Adri." Ian said with a nod. "I heard you'll be visiting my wife today." He said as he smirked at his own comment.

"She will gut you if she hears you calling her your wife." Adrianna responded with a laugh. "But yes, we are buying maternity clothes."

Cedric frowned at the news that his wife was going out to the mall. Ever since the incident that caused Mia's and his mother's death, Cedric had been extra protective of the members of his family.

Even Yoyo, whom most people didn't know was his son, always traveled with heavily armed guards.

"Why don't you and Nicole have the stores bring the clothes to the house?" Cedric asked. It was a completely doable act. He owned the mall and if he ordered it the shops would follow. None of them would want to cross Mr. Reyes.

"Ced, I have not been out to a mall since mom." Adrianna admitted with a frown. "I need to get out Cedric. I feel like a bird in a cage."

Cedric sighed and shook his head, he knew there was nothing he could do.

"Nicole is bringing Tristan too, I want to see the little boy." Adrianna complained.

"Fine." Cedric said in surrender. "But I want you to bring extra guards. Maybe I can convince Ayanna to close down the mall too while you are there."

"Cedric Reyes, don't you dare do that!" Adrianna said in an angry tone.

"Adri, I'm just worried about you." Cedric said with a frown.

"Look what you did. Yoyo is up." Adrianna scolded Cedric as she pointed her camera at the little boy that was now waking up. "I need to get him ready for school. I am going to the mall with Nicole and you will not call Ayanna to close it for the day. Are we clear?"

"Yes darling." Cedric said in an unwilling tone.

"I'll call you after I go to the mall. I love you." Adrianna finally said as she gave him a sweet smile.

"I love you too, Adri." Cedric said as little Yoyo grabbed his mother's phone.

"Daddy, when are you coming home?" The little boy asked with a frown.

"Soon Yoyo, daddy misses you." Cedric told his son.

"I miss you too daddy, can we play when you come back?" He asked.

Cedric felt guilty that he still couldn't find the time to be with his son. He had always sworn that when he had children of his own he would do his best to spend time with them.

"Why don't we go on a trip when I get home? We can go to your uncle Ray's island over the weekend." Cedric said with a smile as an idea formed in his head.

"Yey! Will Tris and all my uncles and aunties come too?" Yoyo asked.

"Uncle Ian?" Cedric asked his assistant as he turned the camera to face the man who was currently stuffing his face with breakfast.

"Of course!" Ian said with a full mouth.

"Uncle Ian, mommy said you aren't allowed to talk with your mouth full, bad uncle." Yoyo scolded in his cute voice, making everyone laugh.

"Older brother Dave, Older sister Mae, will you join us?" Yoyo asked as he spotted them through the screen.

"Of course they will." Cedric said from behind the camera. He rarely went anywhere without the two and he felt like they needed a break from work too.

"Yey! Thank you daddy." Yoyo said in an excited tone as Cedric turned the camera back to face him.

"Yoyo! Time for a bath." Adrianna told her son as she took the phone back from him.

"Your son is a pain sometimes." Adrianna grumbled.

"He is my son when he is bad and our son when he is good." Cedric said with a chuckle.

"Yes. Now I have a lot to do. Again, don't you dare call your sister to close the mall down." Adrianna threatened as she dropped the call.

"Women." Ian said with a laugh as he continued to devour his food. They had a long day ahead of them and there was no guarantee that they would have enough time to have lunch.

Cedric laughed as he noticed Dave gave Ian an awkward smirk. Now he was sure that Mae and Dave were dating.

"So Dave, how was your room?" Cedric asked out of the blue.

"Sir?" Dave asked as he looked at Cedric with a confused expression. There was no reason for Cedric to ask so randomly.

"I asked you something Dave." Cedric said, more seriously this time.

"Oh, it was good sir. I slept well." Dave said with a nod as he fumbled with his answer.

"Really?" Cedric asked as he smirked at his assistant.

"I had someone check on you last night, but he was surprised to find your room empty." Cedric said, dropping a bomb on Dave and Mae.

He watched as the young couple froze in shock for a second, gathering themselves quickly, hoping that Cedric did not notice anything.
