"Brian!" Jean shouted as she tried to get away from the bodyguard's firm hold on her. But her attempts were futile, Cedric wanted them to be as close as possible to Brian without them actually being able to save him.

"No, no." Cedric said as he took a step closer to Jean Baron. "Do you know what your former fiance did?" Cedric asked.

The woman who was already in tears looked up, confused and lost, all she wanted was to hold her fiance.

"Months ago there was a man that decided to come after me and my family." Cedric began to tell the Barons as he could hear Jean whimpering at the sight of her fiance who was barely alive.

"I'm sure you all heard the news of how my mother, my wife, my son, and my sister were ambushed in Pris Mall while out shopping." Cedric said as he tried to read their reactions.

The men remained undeterred while Evan's wife and his niece were clearly afraid and worried.

"Unfortunately my mother and another member of my staff did not manage to survive the deadly attack." Cedric said as he shook his head. "I wonder how you would feel, Rodrigo, if someone was to take your mother's life."

"No!" Rodrigo shouted as he tried to break free from the bodyguard's hold, but he was no match compared to the large man that held him down.

"I'm glad you understand how I felt." Cedric said as he walked over to Brian. "You see, this man who had killed my mother quickly ran away, hiding out in a northern province, aided by a certain politician."

"No." Jean gasped as she realized what had happened.

"Of course we dealt with almost every single person who had helped Aiden Ortiz." Cedric said with a shrug. "Those that helped him are either dead or rotting in jail, living their worst life possible."

"Most of them should be begging for death by now." Alexi said with a laugh that could send chills down a person's spine as he joined in on the conversation.

"A life in torture is worse than death." Cedric said as he crouched down and looked Brian Schnider in the eyes. "Are you even still human?" Cedric asked in a low voice as he looked into Brian's empty eyes.

When he had been brought in he did not even recognize Rodrigo or Jean, he had been subjected through so much torture that Cedric questioned if he was still even in there.

"I hope you are still there." Cedric whispered as he stood up and nodded at Ray, Alexi, and Ian.

Unlike his friends he had never inflicted physical pain on anyone. He was either to weak or there was no need since he had people to keep his hands clean.

"This man, Brian Santos - Schnider, hid Aiden Ortiz from us. He hid him from the law and now he will pay the price." Cedric announced.

"No!" Jean called out as she struggled against the bodyguard once more, this time she tried to kick the man. All her attempts however were in vain as she was kept in her position.

"You should know that a fate worse than death awaits those that go against us." Alexi said as he glared at Evan Baron. "What Brian is about to suffer will only be a fraction of what you will have to endure."

"Unlike Brian you won't be kept by the mafia or the gangs." Ray said with a grin.

"You fucking ass-" Before Evan Baron could finish his sentence, Ray walked up to him and punched him in the gut making the mayor cough up blood.

"I hate loud and noisy people." Ray said as he returned to his friends who were now making Brian stand up.

"Brian here is lucky." Ian said as he looked at the man beside him.

Brian's clothes were tattered, clearly he was still wearing the same garments he was taken in. Ian could see how Jean recognized his clothes, maybe they had been together, out on a date or just hanging out when Seth's men picked Brian up.

"Such fancy clothes." Ian remarked out loud. "He can be buried in what he is wearing."

"No, please, no." Jean begged as she cried out to Ian.

"As I said, he is lucky, he gets to die after just a few months of torture." Ian said with a grin. "He is quite weak, isn't he. He broke after a few months."

Seth chuckled at Ian's comment. Most people would break within days of the torture that they had inflicted, but it was clearly something Ian didn't want the Barons to know.

"You Barons on the other hand decided to mess with the wrong people way too publicly." Cedric added from the side. "You will need to be tried, then when you are found guilty you will be sent to one of the worst prisons in the country."

"I wonder how long rich pampered men like you can survive in the pits of hell?" Seth asked as he looked at the men in front of him.

"Shall we begin?" Ray asked as he flashed everyone a sharp dagger and a gun.

Cedric smiled as Ian and Alexi nodded.

"My friends will be inflicting on him the exact same injuries that those that have died because of him have suffered." Cedric told the Barons in an angry tone. "We won't kill him till it's time, the doctor had told us exactly what to do."

Of course the doctor Cedric was referring to was none other than Miguel Chan himself.

"You see, we want Brian here to suffer just as everyone who was hurt because of his actions had suffered before their deaths." Alexi told the Barons.

"With whom shall we start first?" Ian asked with a mischievous smile.

"Mia, was shot on her right hitting an artery, she died in Pris mall from loss of blood." Leon said, speaking for the first time.

Cedric looked to his bodyguard and nodded, he knew that Leon had a lot of pent up pain and anger. This is what he needed.

Ian took a knife and handed it to Leon.

At first Leon hesitated, Cedric frowned as he noticed that the bodyguard refused to take the plunge.

"It's alright Leon." Cedric said. "This man not only hid Aiden, but we discovered that he was also the one that pulled the trigger killing my mom and Mia."

Cedric watched as Leon's eyes burned with a new found anger and fury.

He took the knife from Ian and walked up to stand in front of Brian.

"They were innocent!" He shouted. "They were innocent and you killed them!" Leon screamed as Brian's eyes remained empty and expressionless.

Seeing as Brian failed or refused to react, Leon lifted his chin and stared him in the eyes.

"If you are in there, I hope this hurts." Leon said as he gripped the knife tightly and stabbed Brian in the exact spot Miguel had pointed out before.

Brian screamed in pain as the blade tore through flesh, but Leon was not satisfied. He turned the knife, making Brian cry out even louder.

Hearing her former fiance's cries were too much for Jean as she fainted in the bodyguard's arms.
