"What do we do now?" Miguel asked as he looked at his father and his uncles. "We know that Lucius Ting isn't even related to the Chan family. Why are we holding back?"
"Someone in the family is backing him." Raphael Chan told his son. "We've had our suspicions that the same person that wanted to either control Ram or kill Ram would be behind Lucius Ting's appearance."
"Lucius Ting thinks he is related to the Chan's because of my brother." Camilla said as she spoke up for the first time that night. "Would it be possible that this member of the Chan family had also been supporting my brother?"
"I doubt it." Cedric said as he joined in on the conversation. "If they were involved in any way with Aiden, then they would definitely know that both you and your brother had turned on Aiden. I think they found Lucius after Aiden died."
"And how sure are you that they don't know about Camilla and Benedict?" Ram asked Cedric.
"Because I don't think the Chans ever told their relatives the full story." Cedric said as he looked at his friends. "Did you?"
"No, we didn't think it mattered anyway." Miguel said with a shrug.
"So what's the plan now?" Guan Ming asked. "Obviously I can't pretend to be on his side forever, if I do that we both know that he will crush the Reyes Group with my fales support."
"You think too highly of yourself." Ian scoffed as he rolled his eyes at Guan Ming.
"I thought you were a good businessman." Guan Ming said as he glared at Ian. "Or so Camilla has said. It seems you are an idiot."
"He knows how valuable your support is Guan Ming." Cedric said with a laugh as he looked at the dumbfounded Guan Ming and the now annoyed Ian. "He is just trying to push your buttons and annoy you."
"Well, it clearly worked." Ray teased as he observed Guan Ming's reaction to Ian.
"Ian has always been over protective of Camilla, we both have always been like that to her." Cedric explained.
"I guess deep down I've always known that she was my cousin." Ian said with a shrug. "So what's the plan?" Ian asked as he directed the conversation back to its original topic.
"We stick to the plan." Cedric said with a determined tone. "It seems that now we need to get whoever is backing up Lucius Ting in the Chan family to show themselves."
"And how do you plan on getting that to happen?" Nicole asked. "You know how our relatives are, they love to scheme and plot."
"Simple, we need to get them nervous." Raphael Chan suddenly told them. "Back then we didn't have the mechanism to make them nervous that they would be caught, but now we do."
"What?" Ian asked. "I mean, no offense uncle Raphael, but you guys had almost the same resources as we do."
"Yeah dad." Nicole said as she supported Ian's question.
"Aside from having a better grip over the company, you also have him." Raphael Chan said as he pointed at Guan Ming.
Guan Ming laughed as he looked at Ian.
Cedric couldn't help but shake his head as he watched the playful rivalry between the two continue. Ian was not a threat to Guan Ming, nor was Guan Ming a threat to Ian.
He knew that both men respected each other, Ian was just being over protective of Camilla.
"I still don't fully understand." Katerina said, speaking up. "If Guan Ming is our advantage in all of this, then why hadn't that person stepped out in the open just yet."

"Because they aren't confident that they can take the Chan family with just Lucius Ting."
"Then what needs to happen?" Ian asked.
"They need to think that they've won." Cedric suddenly said as he considered all of the factors. "They need to think that they have fooled everyone that Lucius Ting is in fact Andrew Chan. This will give them the confidence that they can take over the Chan family."
"Because Guan Ming, the big shot from China is backing Lucius Ting against even the Reyes Family." Ian added as he glanced at Guan Ming.
In the middle of the conversation Miguel had excused himself to take a call, when he finally got back he waved to get everyone's attention.
"What is it?" Veronica asked her husband as she gave him a concerned look.
"Well, this is going to sound very anticlimactic now." Miguel said with a laugh as he shook his head. "That was the lab."
"Well, Dominic is definitely not my kid." Ram said as laughed and shook his head. "I didn't meet Julia till a few years back."
"We know, Ram." Veronica said as she rolled her eyes at her brother.
"Oh, wait a moment." Miguel said as someone called his phone.
"Hello?" Miguel asked.
Everyone watched as his expression suddenly dropped, whatever news the lab had seemed to have shocked Miguel because he became pale.
"Okay, that's, well, it's a good thing you decided to test those samples without my permission." Miguel said in a tone that Cedric just couldn't place.
"I'll call if I need anything." Miguel told the person as he dropped the call.
"That did not sound good." Nicole told her brother as she pointed to the phone in his hand.
"Well, I have news." He said as he took a deep breath and frowned.
"We're listening." Cedric said with a nod.
"So it's obvious that Ram or well do I call you Andrew now?" Miguel teased, making Ram roll his eyes.
"Miguel, focus." Veronica scolded her husband.
"Right, right. So Ram isn't Dominic's father, but I've confirmed that he is Julia's son." Miguel informed them.
"Not really a shock there." Adrianna pointed out. "What do you plan on doing?"
"It's all up to Dominic, Veronica and I spoke about it and if Dominic wants to see his biological mother then he may." Miguel said with a nod.
"Then what was the news that had you in shock?" Nicole asked her brother.
"Dominic is related to us, and I know exactly through who. I just don't know how that person is from the Chan family.." Miguel explained with a frown as he observed the people in the room.
