"Cedric, are you there? Did you hear me?" Miguel asked as he didn't get a response from Cedric.

Cedric shook his head as he regained his composure.

"Is Julia safe, can you keep her safe?" Cedric asked as he prioritized Julia's safety.

"Yes, we know what the poison was and we can reverse its effects. It seems that whoever poisoned her didn't think she would have the right connections." Miguel told Cedric.

"What's going on?" Ian asked as he gave Cedric a confused look.

"Wait a minute Miguel, let me put you on speaker." Cedric said as he placed the phone on his table and switched it to speaker mode.

"Miguel has found the cause for why Julia passed out, she was poisoned." Cedric announced as his assistants all kept straight serious faces. They were all trained not to show any emotion regardless of how distressing the situation was.

It seemed that their training took over in times like these when the matters were more professional than personal. None of them knew Julia, so to them this was all mostly business, something Cedric completely understood.

"Julia is safe, Miguel said that it seemed that whoever poisoned her didn't expect Julia to have any good connections that could save her." Cedric announced as he got them up to speed with the latest developments.

"Do you have any leads to where she could have ingested it?" Ian asked as he considered at which part of the trip the traitor could be.

"It was definitely back when they were in Spain, this kind of Poison takes way too long to act." Miguel informed the people at the other end of the call.

"Could it be the Esteves Family?" Mae asked as she looked at Cedric.

"No, I doubt it." Cedric said as he shook his head.

"Why not? They are gonna get what they want either way, and it's possible that they could be lying to you and working with Lucius Ting." Dave said as he slowly began to theorize.

"The Esteves family could have killed her the moment they knew who Lucius Ting was. They didn't need to keep her alive if that was their intention, I don't think it's them." Cedric said as he shook his head.

"I know it's impossible, but could it be that Lucius Ting has found out that Julia is with us?" Ian suggested.

"Why would he try to harm the mother of his child?" Cedric asked.

"Ian might have a point." Mae said as she carefully studied the situation. "Lucius Ting wants his son and he probably blames Julia for why he has to look for the boy, it's possible that he doesn't want her to live."

"If that were the case, why kill her when it could harm Jonathan. He knows that Jonathan is his way to find his son, he wouldn't hurt her." Cedric pointed out.

"It's not impossible." Marco said slowly as he considered the situation.

"What do you mean?" Cedric asked the older man.

"If I were Lucius Ting I would try to cut off the part that could put me at risk." Marco explained to Cedric and the rest of his group. "Right now, that would be Julia. She's the one person that can point the Esteves family to him."

"But why would he need Jonathan if he knew that Julia was with the Esteves Family and how would he have known?" Dave asked.

"He could have a spy among them." Cedric suggested.

"If he did, he would know that his son is with you." Ian pointed out.

"Then maybe it's not someone so high up, maybe it's a guard that noticed that Julia was a prisoner and that she would be transported back home today." Cedric said as he carefully considered the situation.

"If he knows about Julia and has a spy in the Esteves family, they need to be notified. They will want to check their ranks." Marco told Cedric.

"Camilla!" Ian said as he suddenly remembered that Camilla might be headed to spend some time with Lucius Ting today as part of her act.

"Shit." Cedric cursed as he looked at his assistant. "Try to get her or Benedict on the phone, they cannot go there if there is a chance that Lucius Ting knows everything."

"What?" Marco asked.

"There is a chance he will know that he is being played if the person that poisoned Julia is his." Cedric said. "We had Guan Ming's plane pick Julia up, but the pilot and the staff on the plane weren't Chinese, they were ours."

"If he looks into the records he will get suspicious." Mae said as she turned pale at the thought.

"Fuck." Ian cursed as he dialed Camilla's number again.

The room was tense as they worried about Camilla.

Cedric had also sent a message to his cousin Ace, asking him to warn the Esteves family about a possible spy in their midst.

Finally on the third call Camilla answered.

"Ian?" Camilla asked, confused as to why her friend was calling.

"Camilla, where are you? Please tell us you are safe.." Ian said frantically, waiting for her to respond.
