"I'll be fine with that, Uncle Ming." Al said with a smile, he was more than happy to do things his Uncle's way.
It would also help him learn new techniques, things that no matter how well they did things in Capital City he couldn't learn there.
"Good, perfect. Let's head home." Guan Ming walked out of the room, leaving a confused Al and Angelo with no choice but to follow them out.
Outside, Miss Xue bowed and smiled at Al.
It seemed that she had an idea that he was an important person.
"Cancel all my meetings for the rest of the day." Guan Ming suddenly sounded annoyed for some reason as he didn't even look at Miss Xue. "Tell my driver to meet us at the lobby."
"Yes sir." Miss Xue said as she visibly backed away.
It seemed that the way Guan Ming spoke was more than enough to send a message to his assistant.
It didn't escape Al's attention that Miss Xue avoided looking at them as they left.
When they entered the elevator, Al noticed that a different person accompanied them and not Miss Xue.
He looked at his Uncle Ming and raised an eyebrow.
The older man laughed and shook his head as the door closed.
"This is Yu Zimo." Guan Ming said as he introduced the man who seemed to be a few years older than Al. "He's one of my best assistants here and in the underworld, I'm assigning him to you."
"An honor to meet you Mr. Lawrence." Yu Zimo said as he bowed to Al.
"Oh, I don't think I've introduced my friend, this is Angelo Cortez, my brother on paper." Al smiled as he gestured towards Angelo.
"And his real name?" Guan Ming asked.
"I can't tell you." Angelo's real identity would put him in danger, that's why Al chose not to give his uncle Angelo's real name.
"I'll respect your choice to keep his real name a secret." Guan Ming said as the elevator doors opened and they walked through the large lobby.
The entire area seemed to have been vacated just for Guan Ming and his group to pass.
Al and Angelo followed closely behind until they reached the waiting car on the driveway as well as the convoy of security vehicles.
"We will ride that one." Guan Ming said as he pointed towards one of the security cars. "Yu Zimo will drive."
Al nodded as he followed his uncle and got into the backseat of the vehicle that was practically a tank, while Angelo rode up front.
Inside Al could see the weapons that were readily available in case they were attacked, as well as a communication system for the cars.
Guan Ming took one of the microphones and gave the signal that they could leave.
"I know that you have questions about what happened with Miss Xue." Guan Ming said as the cars drove off.
"I do, but I don't want to ask if you aren't willing to answer." Al told his uncle. He knew it wasn't in his place to interfere with how Guan Ming ran his business.

"My wife told me she had a feeling that girl was a social climber trying to get a rich husband among my guests." Guan Ming explained. "I'll have her moved."
"It's a pity, boss, she was efficient." Yu Zimo commented.
"She was, why don't I just assign her to you." Guan Ming said in a playful tone, making Yu Zimo groan.
"Please don't. I don't want another one hitting on me." Yu Zimo grumbled.
Al couldn't help but feel that there was more to Yu Zimo than that which was on the surface.
The man had a different confidence to him, it wasn't something that could be easily learned.
"I'm thinking of sending her to another department, my wife will laugh when she hears how hard that woman was trying to get your attention." Guan Ming laughed even louder.
As Yu Zimo drove, Guan Ming asked Al questions about his parents and the situation in Capital City.
Al could tell that his Uncle Ming wished he could visit more, but there was something holding him back.
"It was nice seeing all of them again." Guan Ming said as they exited the city. "I had hoped the circumstances were better, but it was good nonetheless."
Al nodded as he saw the sadness in Guan Ming's eyes. He had also mourned with his friends.
"Uncle Ming, after I'm done in your city, can I ask a favor from you?" Al asked his uncle as he looked at the man who sat next to him.
Guan Ming no longer looked like the powerful intimidating business leader from earlier, he just looked like a friend saddened by how things had turned out.
"Sure." Guan Ming said as he agreed.
Al took a deep breath and gathered his courage.
What he was going to ask from Guan Ming was no small favor. As a matter of fact he already knew how things would unfold when it happened.
"When I finish what I have to do here and move to where my mission takes me, please tell my parents that I'm alive and well." Guan Ming was stunned by Al's request.
Very few things could catch him off guard and this was one of them.
"Won't they search for you?" Guan Ming asked.
"I plan to change my identity." Al informed is uncle.
"You know they won't be happy about this." Guan Ming warned him.
"I know, but by then I should be closer to finding Colin." Al said with a shrug. "I don't want them to worry too much and I wanted the entire thing to be believable."
Guan Ming nodded, he clearly understood Al's reasoning.
"Alright. I'll do that for you." Guan Ming promised.
As they spoke, the car pulled up in front of a lavish mansion much bigger than the Lawerence Family home in Capital City.
