Chapter 18: Chapter 18 : Increase in Strength

Cain was happy as he fought the Kelduns . The Kelduns attacked slashing at Cain with their claws and tryin to stab him with their tails . Cain defended with his left hand which wore a gauntlet and slashed and defended himself as he channeled more mana around the sword making it more sharper and faster . He could feel his mana drain faster.

The Black Keldun  started to vibrate the spines on its back as dark mist started to ooze out of its body . Cain had several cuts and stabs on his body . He had killed 20 Kelduns using swift step and and his mana covered sword . He could feel improvement as he fought a large number of these beasts . Then he spoke

"I think this much training is enough"

Cain then threw his sword and gauntlet to the side and leapt as he created distance between himself and the group . As he channeled all the remaining mana towards  his throat he activated Immortal hellfire body , he started to burn and his injuries healed . He then used WarDemon's Roar Channeling all the mana in his throat.

To his surprise many Kelduns which were close to him collapsed and many other's head started to bleed . The Black Keldun stopped releasing the dark mist . He charged towards the Kelduns with his Hellfire body and with bone crushing strength he started to crush the skulls of Kelduns as his bones in his arms were breaking and reforming continuously . Some snapped out and started to attack Cain but to no use Cain simply started to crushed their heads as blood of Kelduns started to splatter and bodies started to burn .

Cain looking at the sight when Kelduns were terrified of him started to run away he started to laugh loudly like a maniac and spoke

"Finally!!! i can release stress , you fuckers out there who are stronger than me just you wait. I'll become strong enough so that none of you fuckers can harm me "

Cain was genuinely happy at the development as he defeated more than half of the group without his Immortal hellfire body and even his last WarDemon's Roar created a opportunity to escape. Satisfied with the result he activated Immortal hellfire body and Started the slaughter.

But he knew this wouldn't be the same if these beasts could utilize mana and create a mana veil the fire wouldn't have affected them due to less proficiency . But since these creatures focused on physical defense they were lambs waiting for slaughter in front of Cain.

Now only the Black Keldun was left which was trying to claw its way out from the walls he had created . As he approached the black Keldun  , the Keldun  got into a defensive posture releasing this dark mist and roared at Cain . Cain looking at this with a wide smile put his whole arm into the beasts mouth . The beast bit off his arm , Cain shouted loudly but it was followed by him laughing

"Aahhhh!!!! ..... Hehe.. hehe.. How does my arm taste .. hehe .. Hahahaha!!!"

Smoke started to come out the Beasts mouth as it flailed around the ground as it started to burn from the inside . Cain looked at the sight amusingly as the Black Keldun flailed around and burnt leaving the bone armor as Cain felt the armor maybe good material to make weapons .

Cain then leaving aside 10 corpses burned everything else. Cain then put those corpses and the bones in his space rings . The whole area was clean with little tinders  of fire here and there as they burned the bones to the ground . He then took out his clothes from the space ring and as he wore them he asked

"System how much Stat points did i get ? and the skills?"

[Free Stat points is 122  , Defense stat increased by 16 due to constant bone reformation and the  new skills acquired are:

Bone armor (Mastery : intermediate)

Poison Mist (Mastery : intermediate)

Finger Poison Stinger (Mastery : intermediate)

Sonar hearing (Mastery : Beginner)

WarDemon's Roar (Mastery increased to Expert)

Swordsmanship (Mastery increased to Peak as understanding of the art increased)

Cain said this as he stretched his body to relax and the walls around him crumbled . He then used All sight to survey the whole 4th floor to search for valuables . After hours of surveying he found two high quality swords, one large magic staff with a large orb in the middle ,a cloak which looked like it increased stealth ,  one shield ,a bow and a space ring with beast cores though it had little space compared to the one he got from the Berserk Goblin. He stored all of them , wore the cloak using stealth he made his way out of the dungeon.

After 1 day he finally came out of the dungeon. After almost one and a half week Cain came out of the dungeon. He undid his stealth after going 2km away from the dungeon , then hitched a ride with some farmers who were going to Zrervin .

After reaching Zrervin , Cain directly went to the Bear claw tavern as he was greeted by  Miles Noah

"Where were you all these days , did you run out of money?" Cain little displeased but replied back to Miles

"Of course not , I was visiting all the brothels to enjoy my youth" Cain looked at Miles with a sneer on his face. Miles with a smile replied

"Well with you're face , that's the only place you can get laid" Miles started to laugh as he looked at Cain , as few others listening to this started to laugh.

Cain went and banged at the counter where Miles was and asked

"A tub of Warm water , and those meat dishes  . Ah , and introduce he to a good Blacksmith and Pawnshop tomorrow" Miles stopped laughing and spoke

"Yeah fine , but don't overwork yourself you're a beginner still . You may not come out inscathed , take rest for 2 days . I'll introduce you to them later" Cain looking at Miles at the side of his eyes as he went up the stairs he said

"Fine"

In the week before where stayed at the Bear claw's , he learned Miles was a well known adventurer back in his prime . This was also the reason this tavern was more safe than others.

He gradually spoke to Miles and got acquainted with him forming a friendly relationship as Miles advised Cain regarding the ways how a adventurer should be.
