Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Aftermath

As they passed the area where they killed the vampire, police officers covered the entire area.

Officer:" Hey you two, are you the spotted any killers?"

Gofumi: "We only hunt vampires, not innocent people."

The officer believed him but made a hand signal for both of them to follow him.

He opened the police car then drove them towards the police station and began questioning them.

Kiyogisa: "Uh officer, the patron, and salt give a boost in attack power on the undead."

He sighed and then looked at both of them directly into their eyes.

Officer:" Prove it."

Gofumi didn't like this so he started searching his inventory for his 80s proof.

As he began to panic, his employer rang the police station's phone so he answered it.

While he was distracted, he took out the alcohol and then began while Kiyogisa cast threw a potion that cancels out sound for a while.

After his drinking, the officer returned and sat down.

Before he could begin questioning them, Gofumi drank the last of the alcohol.

Which caused his IQ to drop and Gofumi drew his sword and then started attacking the officer with hesitation.

After a while of fighting with the officer, the officer dropped his sword and went for his handgun.

The officer noticed Gofumi's eyes now looks like the eyes of a devil.

He opened fire with one of his spells but he took the bullets like a tec-9 which cause Kiyogisa to throw a potion to get Gofumi back to normal.

Sirens and police officers started approaching the area.

Shocked at the turn of events, both searched for their invisibility potions but none was found.

Gofumi: "Let's go."

Gofumi and Kiyogisa tried the back and then began searching the area for potions.

So they turned to the officer and took what he processed.

After getting what they wanted, both drank the potion and then attempted their escape.

Surprisingly, they weren't detected but just encountered a sizable amount of police officers.

Upon their escape, they started heading back towards their base of operations.

Gofumi and Kiyogia headed up the hill and then knocked on the door upon arriving at their destination.

An old man heard the knocking and approached the door.

With their arrival at the base, they are welcomed by the Bulter of their employer,

Butler:" Gofumi, I heard that the police caught passing by and started questioning you."

Both shook their head which caused the Butler to sigh in disbelief.

Butler:" You are supposed to be professionals that aren't easy to be caught."

Kiyogisa:" Uh, the officer was stronger than the average vampire tho."

Gofumi started making hand signals so the butler went out to make a meal for them then everyone waited until night.

With their meal done, they ate well before asking for their car keys.

The butler threw the keys and Gofumi caught them and then gave them to Kiyogisa.

The night started to descend upon the area, lighting up the area.

Gofumi and Kiyogisa asked the butler to follow them towards the garage.

After heading downstairs, they looked at each like no one expected anything to happen.

To their surprise, nothing happened but Kiyogisa tripping over the bucket due to not seeing it.

They headed towards the garage then started up the car and headed out.

The butler opened the garage door, Gofumi started up the car then stepped on the gas.

Their speeding was so fast that passed traffic after 2 sections of traffic.

After a while, a police car noticed the speeding and then began a chase after them.

Kiyogisa asked for a bottle so Gofumi started searching for the patron for her but he started driving recklessly due to this.

Police Officer:" Suspect is driving recklessly, bring back before these two hurt someone."

HQ:" Copy that, Officers we have a code 3 chase on the 2nd  Agius Avenue."

Police Officer 2: "I am 5 minutes out from that location."

After 7 minutes into the chase, the police officer caught up with the suspect and then began chasing.

Gofumi gave Kiyogisa the patron and she in turn took the patron and drank it down like it was nothing.

Kiyogisa got so drunk that she feels like she is floating on 9 coats which in turn made her start swearing at the cops chasing them.

After a while of the chase, Kiyogisa's phone rang, and instructions on how to escape were told in a certain way.

With just 10 minutes of their employer explaining how to escape.
