“This can’t be happening, no, this isn’t happening. It must be a dream, of course, this is just a weird dream”

While in a denial state I put my arm in my mouth and bite into it, as it is a dream, it won’t hurt, right?

“………………………..ARGHH!”

Pain, pain coming up my arm, I rapidly take my mouth off of my arm, a few droplets of blood drops from under my scales and drop into the floor.

“Okay, okay, this isn’t a weird dream, so it must be real life, but…. But, t-this can’t be real, am I really a dragon? That creature from mythology and games and stuff? This doesn’t make any sense!”

I shouted, but no one could hear me, I'm in an unknown forest, at least I think I am.

I'm looking around but I can only see trees and grass.

“Where am I?”

The voice I just heard inside of my head, I heard it somewhere before, but I can't remember exactly where.

It dawned on me, I remembered where I heard that voice and the skill before, it was from that weird dream I had before waking up he- ...it wasn't a dream, was it? I don't know how but I think I died? Wait, that hole on my classroom.

isn't your name [Knowledge Library]? Shouldn't you be the holder of all knowledge? I mean, your name suggests that, but at least I'm glad I'm not alone, kind of, at least.

 I lock my eyes on the tree and begin to concentrate .

Wait, wait, wait, what’s this? Is this really a game? There’s even HP here! Still, this is worth looking at. My HP is 29/30, that’s probably because of the bite I gave myself. My MP is 59/60, probably from using [Appraisal] and [Knowledge Library], now, the SP, there’s one 60/60 and one 20/60, why two SP stats?

Just as I ask myself that, I hear my stomach growling. I look around, but can only see trees and bushes.

Maybe one of them has something I can eat? I can even try to appraise them, wait, if I try using my [Knowledge Library] skill together with [Appraisal] maybe I can get something out of them, oh, that reminds me, those two skills are level one, maybe if I try to raise their levels they get better? How do I even raise them? Anyway, I need to find food right now.

I begin walking to the nearby bushes, well, I tried, because I’m not used to this body I went face first on the ground.

Ok, maybe I need to relearn how to walk, it’s weird my four limbs being the same size, maybe I just need to get the way of moving with this, let’s try, right legs, left legs, right legs, left legs. Hey, I’m really doing it!

Walking slow and a little weird I manage to get to a bush, and luckily it had some berries. I concentrated on them and appraised them.

Well, it say it's edible, but has a blood flavor? I don't know if I want to eat this, but looking around, it doesn't seem like I have a choice. Okay, here goes nothing.

I eat a mouth full of the Blood Berries.

It’s strangely delicious, it doesn't taste like blood at all, maybe I have a new sense of taste because I’m now a dragon? In this case wouldn’t make the taste of blood delicious as confirmed by these berries? I’m really scared of myself now. I really need to think about something else, I can’t think about this right now.

I begin to walk through the forest, trying to keep my mind not thinking about the possibility I lost my humanity.
