Chapter 14: Valka

(Zoya's POV)

Unfortunately the twins followed Astrid and Fishlegs and to make things worse they saw me write so now those two idiots were trying to get me to write their name but I just made myself comfortable and stared at Astrid and Hiccup discussing. "Can you write my name" "No of course she wouldn't write your name idiot" "Hey my name is better than yours!" They argued.

"These guys are way more annoying than in the movie or the series." I thought. Especially when they interrupted each other while they were talking. Somehow they even managed to annoy me when they just looked at me.

(Astrid's POV)

Hiccup has been asking questions about how I met Zoya or how we communicated or about what we talked while we were on the island. I noticed that Fishlegs was listening to our conversation writing everything down he heard.

(Zoya's POV)

" I thought Valka would have shown herself by now..." I thought. And seconds after I thought that an oversized dragon with four wings and a person on his back landed next to us. Who would have guessed it... It was Valka.

She nearly teleported to my side as she saw me. "How can a human being move that fast?" I looked confused at her. "Don't worry I won't hurt you" Valka said. "Well it would be strange if you of all people were here to hurt me"

As far as I know Valka couldn't even hurt a dragon while Hiccup still had the guts to fight one if his friends were in danger. I felt like a doctor performed a full body checkup as Valka run her fingers along the dark blue lightning marks an my body.

"How are you feeling?" Toothless walked up right next to me checking for the third time if I wasn't injured. "Why is he so overprotective?" I thought.

I have tried to start a conversation with her three times already but every time she answered my mind suddenly went blank and I wasn't able to respond to her. "What's going on with me why can't I just speak to her like I do with everybody else!" I screamed silent.

I heard a giggle behind me. It was Stormfly. "What are you laughing about?" I asked her using a bit of my alpha voice which startled her at first but in the end she burst out in laughter.

"My dear friend Toothless and alpha" She started. Every time she said that it meant what she was about to say would be something I really wouldn't want to hear but most of the time it would be true. "What's going on with you is called: madly in love" She giggled.

"Stop teasing me!" I snaped at her but that just made her lough even more. I started to think "But what if I was really in love with her?" I looked at her. Valka was sitting next to her inspecting the marks on her wing.

My brain just told me that I need to protect her no matter what but I tried to get rid of that thoughts as quickly as possible but they kept creeping back in my mind.

(Zoya's POV)

"What is Toothless doing?" I chuckled without him noticing. it seemed like he was thinking about something. Then he would shake his head only for him to start thinking a few seconds later and shake his head again. And that process continued like a game was about to crash.

I don't know why but it looked damn stupid. "Then an electric like feeling shot through my entire body making me flinch. I blushed as I noticed that Valka was now inspecting an area of my body that..... I don't want to continue that.

I moved a bit away from her bot whatever she did she was already finished. But the electric feeling still swirled around inside of my body. "Get yourself together!" I said to myself and suppressed the feeling until it finally vanished. "What did Valka even do?"
