(Astrid's POV)
"What happened today" I thought. I sat in the cave leaning against the wall while staring at the now sleeping dragon. "If this is a dream then it's a crazy one but if this is reality it's even crazier".
It was comfortable cool in the cave while outside it was so hot that you could make fried eggs on the rocks.
(Fishleg's POV)
It has been raining for three days now and there is no end in sight. Everyday Hiccup would at least look 200 times outside hoping for the weather to get better. Stormfly tried to fly back to Astrid five times but failed every time. We'd have to fly over the clouds so the weather wouldn't affect us but we can't get high enough before having to land again.
As stubborn as he is Hiccup built over three new tail fins for Toothless but none of them were able to withstand what they have to endure to get Hiccup and Toothless above the clouds. And the rest of the village was busy repairing damages.
I'm not really sure if they aren't making it worse because working outside under that kind of conditions is definitely impossible. Stoick forbid us to leave the great hall the entire night and I've seen people strapping everything they can find to their boots so that they can go outside and check after their homes.
That's definitely the worst storm Berk had ever to endure.
(Zoya's POV)
Astrid and I have been talking the whole day or rather I was writing and she was speaking but that’s not important. We asked each other questions. I asked her some questions I already knew the answer to like: "are all of you flying on dragons" or "is someone searching for you" and Astrid on the other hand asked me something about my past.
I nearly always told her the truth but sometimes I had to leave out some points like my parents being human or stuff like that. As she asked me who taught me to write I just gave her the first name of my favourite teacher.
Right now our conversation got silent and we both stared at each other in silence which seemed like it was no problem for her but for me definitely.
"So.. Zoya.." Astrid started. "I thought that... maybe you can help me.. you know... going back home." I already knew how but I still asked her "How?"
It seemed like now that she talked to a dragon the topic of riding me was a bit uncomfortable for her.
--------
Last night I got suddenly hungry and as I got up I saw her sleeping by the fire crying. She sobbed and said "Why didn't you search for me hiccup" in her dream. That was wen I decided that I would help her no matter what. So I changed my goal from "Not being tamed" to "help her get back home.
--------
"Well you see I came her riding on my dragon Stormfly's back so..." I stopped her with a yawn and wrote "I already got it. When are we going?" She read it and then hugged me, or rather my neck because I was slightly bigger than her.

"What about practicing today and flying tomorrow morning?" She asked me. About what she told me it would quite the long flight so it may take a little longer if I have to take some brakes so I nodded in agreement.
"But first eating" I wrote and she laughed
(Astrid's POV)
"Finally I have a way back home" I was so happy that I didn't even notice that I was already eating my third fish. "And if we arrive I'm going to ask Hiccup what's going on." "And now let's eat!" I said to myself as I took the fourth fish.
(Zoya's POV)
Astrid and I looked down the cliff. "Well then let's do this" she said. I ducked a bit down so that she wouldn’t have that much problems but it seemed like she wouldn't even have had problems if I was double the height.
It was an unfamiliar feeling having someone sitting on my back. The last time was when I had to play with my little brother so that we would like a perfect family while my grandparents visited us.
I spread my wings and took of. I wanted to fly like I always did but soon had to realise that It was a bit different with someone sitting on my back. I needed more strength to push myself up and I always had to stop myself from flying to crazy curves and such.
While I got used to the feeling of someone on my back Astrid tried her best to figure out how to stay on my back without falling down again. It must've been hard for her because she was used to flying a Deadly nadder and I was a Night fury and on top of that I didn't have a saddle.
(Astrid's POV)
After half an hour I finally found a way to hold onto Zoya's back. We made the deal that if she was going to change directions she would first tilt her head slightly in the direction she wanted to fly so I would have some time to prepare.
And if I wanted her to go to a different direction I just leaned my body a bit and she would instantly know in which directions to go. "I wonder if that's how Hiccup and Toothless do it.
(Zoya’s POV)
It was really funny flying with Astrid. I noticed that my back was really sensitive when it came to Astrid shifting her weight but I soon got used to it. But now it was time to eat something and go to sleep because we need to wake up early tomorrow.
Astrid didn't eat anything because she felt sick. I'm just guessing but eating four fish and flying looping after that? I would have puked right away.
