"Die!!!!"

High up in the sky, a being with indescribable features lay waste on the Players below. Numerous kinds of attacks, from elemental spells, rockets, and unorthodox attack methods were sent its way, but it barely did a scratch on its hide/shell/skin. However, unlike the attacks it received, its own attacks were on a different level. From the tips of its tentacles/fingers, glyphs appeared and from it came laser beams that destroyed everything in its path.

"Why.... Why....." One Ranker, a person considered to be one of the strongest in the Tower, lamented at the sight of his fellow Players' demise.

"The Tower doesn't give impossible tasks...and yet...we barely chipped its health..." The Ranker, Kilowag, remarked in despair. Despite having unified every single Guild in the Tower for the sole purpose of completing the Tower, they put all the entirety of their fortune on upgrading their gear and buying every needed elixirs, all of the top 100 Rankers were present in the Raid, and yet, they hardly dealt any damage against the monster above them.

"Captain, I'm going to do it." From behind Kilowag, a cold, apathetic voice appeared. Kilowag, already knowing who it was, smiled bitterly.

"You really think it would do anything to it?" The Captain asked in silent disbelief, already seeing that all hope was lost.

The woman, already knowing the futility of her upcoming act, simply smiled. "Either I die doing nothing, or die giving everyone a chance." She could tell at a glance that they were losing. Among the 100,510 Players that came with them, about half remained.

"I'll see you on the other side, yeah?" Without another word, the woman suddenly gained bestial features akin to a dragon, and without wasting time, she flew with her newly gained wings towards the Boss.

Kilowag, still in despair, watched as his friend flew towards her own demise. Seeing her commit a noble sacrifice, Kilowag could do nothing but grit his teeth and regain his previous composure as the Captian of the Unified Players Gulid. "Everyone! Buff Jasmine!!" With his order, various Priests, Mages and other classes with Buffs cast everything they had on the flying woman.

[-Strength has been greatly buffed.

-Regeneration has been buffed.

-Mana Regeneration has been massively buffed.

-Magic Power has been greatly buffed.

--]

Seeing her notification being overflowed with Buffs, Jasmine couldn't help but smirk, surely surprising those who knows of her title. With multiple Speed Buffs stacked with one another, it only took a second for her to reach the Boss, where she received a surprise.

[You are being afflicted with [Insanity]]

Just as she read the notification, Jasmine suddenly experienced excruciating pain in her mind, to the point that she began crying blood! "GAAAAAHHH!!!"

[You are resisting [Insanity]

-x16 [Debuff Resistance] is resisting [Insanity].]

[You have partially resisted [Insanity]]

Smirking once again, Jasmine resisted the pain, relying on her own regeneration and the multitude of [Regeneration Buff]s casted on her. "So this is how you look like, fucking uglier than expected." Floating in front of the Boss's face, a mix of tentacles and eyes, Jasmine mocked the Boss, earning a growl in return.

Focusing back on her role, Jasmine now wore a grim expression. Her thoughts ran wildly, all of her regrets, all of her wishes, it all came to her, but she couldn't let it stop her now, not when she had already resolved herself. "So this is where it ends, huh?" After asking a question with no real intention of a response, she flew towards what she could guess was its mouth.

[You are being afflicted with [Insanity]

You are trying to resist [Insanity]

You are being afflicted with [Insanity]-]

A multitude of notifications came and nearly filled her vision, but Jasmine paid it no mind, just as she ignored the pain in her head and the corrosion of her skin.

[Your emotions are fluctuating. Keep hold of your emotions unless you want your mana to run wild.]

Despite her notifications being filled, Jasmine was still able to read this particular one, causing her grin to widen. "C'mon, tell me you've got a heart some- YES!!!" With a cheer, Jasmine flew towards the mass that strangely resembled a heart. 'It was a long shot, but it seems they'll have a chance now.

[Warning! Your mana will cause a rupture if you don't keep a hold of your emotions.]

Seeing this message once again, Jasmine flew straight towards the "Heart", but along with her smirk, it was accompanied with tears and her skin tearing with various colors. 'It hurts....' "RAAAAHHHHH!!!"

BOOOOOMMMM!!!!--

With thoughts of regrets and sadness, Jasmine let her sorrow take control of herself, causing her mana to run amok in her body, and eventually, cause a massive explosion of mana.

[Welcome, Player Jasmine Opinia, to the world of Amalgi.]

As I stare at the floating screen in front of me, I couldn't help but let out a dumbfounded, "Huh?"

Rubbing my eyes, I dismissed the screen and frantically looked around. Although it has been a decade since I first appeared in the world of Amalgi, I could still clearly remember what the Tower looked like. And there it stood, the Tower of a Hundred Floors.

"H-How in the world?" One would question my sanity with how jittery I was paired with my constant shifty glances, but my actions can be forgiven when everyone else was in varying degrees of insanity themselves, or rather, many were in disbelief and in denial.

Looking at my hands void of calluses and scars, I then frantically looked for anything with a reflective surface, which I quickly found in my pocket, which turns out to be my phone! Quickly swiping to open the camera, I finally got to see my face. Staring back at me, was me, but 10 years younger.

"How is this even possible?" For some unknown reason, I was sent back in time. I don't know how, but everything seems to be pointing towards that answer. "How about..." I trailed off, focusing on opening my Status Window.

[Name: Jasmine Opinia

Class: None

Title: None

Level: 1

Strength:  12

Agility: 15

Constitution: 13

Magic Power: 14

Innate Skills: [Friend of Mana] [Beast Takeover] [The Outer's Blessing]

Skills: None]

'Huh? Why's my stats so high? I distinctly remember having average stats.' The average stats for level 1 Players were 10, it was an established fact. There are those, of course, who have stats around 12-13, and those Players are considered to have high potential. I, however, never heard of someone having 14, heck, 15 at level 1! Not even Astral, the Legendary Ranker of the Tower, had such stats at level 1!

'And what's this?' Other than my average stats, the only eye-catching thing about me at level 1 was not only having 2 Innate Skills, but 2 Innate Skills with S ratings!

[Friend of Mana

Rating: S-

To most, Mana is simply a fuel for the likes of Magic Spells, Rituals, and Runecraft, but to some, Mana is alive. As a friend of Mana, Mana related attacks are Amplified and Mana Regeneration, and Sensitivity are raised. However, as great as this is, Mana is sensitive to emotions, and once it notices a spike in your emotions, Mana will try and help you. The problem is, Mana has no way of holding itself back, eventually causing Mana to rupture itself.

-Mana Regeneration 100%

-Mana Attacks +50%

-Skill: [Mana Sensitivity]]

Rereading this description, I can't help but let out a bitter chuckle. In the end, it was my most relied skill that got me killed, of course, it was intentional.

[Beast Takeover

Rating: S

Beasts, creation of the Tower, are strong. It can take thousands of Players to defeat one Named Beast, and you can have such strength. Defeat a Named Beast to earn their forms.

-Beasts: None]

This is my most used skill, one that helped me earned my moniker, [The Beast of Silence].

'This, however, was something I never had.' I eyed the screen silently, wary of the new skill. Taking a breath, I then proceeded to open it's description.

[The Outer's Blessing

Rating: S+

You have been blessed by an Outer.

-Outer's Mark

-???

-???]

"This... This doesn't help me, at all." The rating was definitely surprising, but the description and the question marks were of no help whatsoever.

Kling, Kling--

["Welcome, New Players!"] I was, then, brought out of my stupor by the familiar sounds of bells notifying the appearance of a Tower Administrator and the Tower Admin themselves.

A commotion immediately started at the appearance of the Angelic-like being above us, with long blonde locks, a gorgeous face, and a gentle disposition, you can't help but think that she is an Angel. The only thing missing were a pair of wings.

"H-hey! Where a-are we!"

"An Angel! An Angel has come to sa-save us!"

"This- this isn't real!"

People immediately began clamoring at her appearance, asking for way out, asking about their own sanity, and just generally making a commotion. If I really have been sent back to the past, then this introduction was of no use to me. Looking around, I got to see something I have neglected in the past. We were in the middle of a wide expanse of land, to accommodate the summoning of thousands of New Players, and surrounding this Summoning Area were tents put up for the new Players and for Players who came down to what was generally called as Floor 0 for some sick form of entertainment or to search for promising Players they can invest in.

["Now, let the Tutorial, Begin!"]

[Tutorial 1: The Beginning

Survive for 30 Minutes against waves of goblins.

Time: 30:00]

Before I knew it, we were transported to some part of Amalgi for our Tutorial.
