Chapter 12: Chapter 11 ~ The second deputy

"Kaito, do you know what you just did?"

Kaito is the person who jumped from above. He's a young man with white skin and white hair.

Kaito wanted to get back to normal, which means to stand on his feet, but Koto's sword was getting heavier. That's why Kaito had no choice but to keep putting his hands on the ground and stopping Koto's sword with his foot full of iron knives.

If Kaito moved even a little, Koto's sword would slip and as a result, the bald man would lose his head.

The person who said this was Makiho, the second deputy, and the one who used to catch the women and kill the men in the village. He was walking on the plank towards the deck, and behind him were many men, and every man beside him a woman tied with ropes, and some of them were carrying goods.

Makiho was walking with a girl with messy black hair and blue eyes, the daughter of the woman who was begging for Makiho in the village.

There were some ropes on that girl's hands, on her feet, and on her neck. She could hardly walk, she looked like a slave, though she was just like any ordinary girl this morning before the pirates arrived.

The strange thing is that girl was walking of her own free will, even if he didn't put ropes on her, she probably wouldn't run away. She was very calm, while the other women behind her were crying, depressed and hopeless, anyone could see the fear in their faces.

The second deputy (Koto) removed his sword from Kaito's feet, which were full of large iron thorns, then inserted the sword into its sheath and said;

"Makiho, you've brought so many women, we don't have enough food for all of them!"

Mahiko answered with a smile and was still walking forward;

"Don't worry, I've only chosen thin women. They won't eat much. If they do, we'll throw them into the sea as we usually do. These are just slaves." The second deputy suddenly stopped talking, Then he threw the rope that was tying that girl to the ground, which means that girl can escape now. Makiho put his hand on his chin and then lowered his head and said; "Hmm, I have to choose my words better." He raised his head and looked thoughtfully at the girl with the messy black hair and then added; "Perhaps 'slave' is a harsh word, I'll use puppets. They are puppets!" He raised his arms like a madman explaining to people the idea that had just come to him; "We can do whatever we want with them and then throw them into the sea as if nothing had happened. Then we will move to another island as usual!"

The First deputy put his hand on his bald head and said;

"I don't understand, what's so special about this girl?"

"Of course you will not understand." The second deputy reached up to the man carrying Violet and said to him; "Give me this girl, I will hand her over to the captain myself."
