' What's up'- Thoughts

"What's up"- Speech

*What's up*- Sounds

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cologne, Germany.
Pride. That is the name of a young man that fled with his family from a war-torn country many years ago to enter this very country.
Since he was one of those privileged enough to have grown up here since childhood, familiarising himself with the language did not pose any complications for him. It came naturally to him, as it does to everyone.
But it does not matter.
Pride is currently twenty years old. He just finished high school this year and has enrolled at a university to pursue his dream job. And that is to become a teacher.
When Pride isn't studying, he likes to watch anime. Some of his favorite anime series are definitely One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, and Bleach! Needless to say, he never forgets his regular dose of manhwa or novels either.
You know, sometimes you get into situations where you're up to date episodically and need a different kind of entertainment.
And Pride believes that manhwas, as well as novels, provide an ideal backup.
Now, before we go off topic again.
On top of that, Pride has two sisters. Both are younger than him.
One of the sisters had literally begged him to accompany her to a concert. He couldn't refuse.
Well, his sister happens to be obsessed with Justin Bieber. And as fate would have it, he was giving a concert near their hometown this weekend.
Of course, it's impossible to get tickets for a Justin Bieber concert a few days in advance, but Pride's sister was pretty smart in her approach. She knew her brother would accept sooner or later. So she ordered the tickets ahead of time.
Pride, who could not say no to his sister, appeared in the festival hall. He was surrounded by enthusiastic fans who were dancing to the rhythm of the music.
"And what do you think of the music?" said the young woman. She was at one with the rhythm.
"Natasha, you know that I don't like his music and that I'm only here for you," Pride added as he shouted into his sister's ear, doubting that she would be able to understand him any other way.
"Thanks"
A few hours passed and everyone gradually left the premises.
"Whew, it's finally over," said Pride as he discreetly patted his sister on the back.
"You don't have to like it, you just had to accompany me since I knew mom and dad wouldn't let me go otherwise, hehe," a giggle resounded whilst both made their way towards the parking lot.
They were both in Frankfurt, which was about 2 hours away from their hometown.
Considering that parking in big cities is generally pretty tricky, imagine what it's going to be like when someone like Justin Bieber is performing.
'I may not like him, but one has to admit that he has achieved almost everything in life.'
As almost all the available parking spaces were occupied, they had to leave the car in a rather remote location, he would claim that it would take them almost twenty-five minutes to reach their car.
*step*
*step*
Pride and Natasha approached their car's parking space.
Unfortunately, Pride was unable to choose a specific route as he was using GPS to find the quickest path. So the navigation took them through alleyways that literally screamed, "run away, it's dangerous here."
They both felt quite uncomfortable when they saw 3 men on a sidewalk who appeared to be refugees.
"Pride, I'm afraid, let's go faster."
Don't get me wrong, Pride's family are immigrants who have sought asylum to escape war. Unfortunately, there are always two types of people. Those who appreciate being accepted, and those whom no one wants to meet, so no one really understands why they remain in the country.
Natasha was a rather pretty young woman, with tanned skin, long black hair, blue eyes, and a very nice figure. The three men's eyes were naturally drawn to her.
This prompted the three men to get up from their seats and slowly follow them.
"Pride, I'm scared. Let's get out of here quickly!"
"Follow me. I have a bad feeling about these guys," Pride's voice rang out as he took his sister's hand in his own and walked away at a faster pace.
As they both accelerated out of fear, Pride forgot to check the GPS. As a result, they were approaching unknown terrain.
"Pride, where the hell have you taken us? It's a dead end!" Natasha said loudly. There was nothing but a wall in front of her.
"Shit!" turning around, the three guys were standing not too far away, looking at them.
All Pride could make out was that they were communicating in a foreign language.
That wouldn't be an indication of anything bad happening, except for the fact that they were followed closely by them, all the while they were licking their lips during their speech.
"Pride, I have a feeling that they want to do something with me."
Meanwhile, the three men were approaching them.
Looking at the three people approaching one by one, Pride thought to himself, 'Thank God they're not carrying weapons. Looks like it's still possible.'
Aside from the occasional visit to the gym to stay in shape, Pride did not have any experience in martial arts.
"Natasha, you stay right here!" Pride said, dragging his sister behind him.
Once again, the three men were talking to each other while keeping a small distance between them, which was probably one of their tactics, or a coordination.
*step*
*step*
"You BelonG us TodaY, heheh." grinned one of the approaching men with slightly open arms.
Pride had watched a lot of films and learned a thing or two from his martial arts colleague at the gym. He got into a fighting stance.
It was very poorly executed. But it served its purpose.
He could recall some of his colleague's remarks about boxing. He said that in boxing you have to pay attention to your opponent's hand and position yourself on his strong side so that he can only swing with his weak hand.
It didn't make any difference though, as two men rushed at him at the same time, while the other pounced on his sister.
"Natasha!" shouted Pride as he dodged a punch.
The opponent didn't fail to take advantage of the inattention. He swung his right fist and punched Pride in the face. It sent him crashing into the wall with the back of his head.
Pride was on the verge of losing consciousness at this point. However, he could barely make out that one of the men was on top of his sister and was in the process of tearing her clothes to shreds.
"He sleep, we now have fun with you, hehe."
"You first or me or lakshash?"
"Hehehhe, we all same make moment."
"Get up, get up, Pride!" Natasha screamed in tears, desperately trying to defend herself against her attackers.
Pride, subconsciously witnessing his little sister's screams, struggled to get to his feet, to help her.
He was on his feet. However, the steps he took seemed wobbly. This was probably due to the fact that he had bumped his head a few moments before.
But there was no time to think, so he lunged at the attacker on the right, the one who seemed furthest from his sister, and grabbed him by the throat.
The attacker seemed stunned at the moment. It was quite sudden for him.
The sight of the young woman there, her clothes already slightly torn, was all these people could focus on.
Pride, unwilling to delay any longer and eager to eliminate the attackers quickly, took an action he probably thought he could never pull off. Something he had learned to be quite painful.
The attacker had both arms around his throat, trying to get out of the situation. But Pride used his right hand and stabbed him in the eyes with his "peace" fingers.
„ARGHHHHHH!"
*breath in*
*breath out*
"Only two more to go!"
As Pride backed away from the screaming figure, he picked up a slightly larger stone from the ground. He intended to use it as a weapon.
The other two, having seen what happened, separated themselves. One stayed with the woman. The other looked after the man. After all, they didn't want their prey to escape.
*wosh*
*wosh*
Pride gradually regained his composure. His head was bleeding profusely, but he dodged the blows.
Dodging another blow, Pride caught the right moment. With all his might, he smashed the stone into the attacker's face.
The latter collapsed to the ground, presumably having passed out. With blood running down his face.
"Natasha," Pride muttered as he approached the last of the attackers. Anger rose in him as he saw his sister sobbing in nothing but her bra.
The attacker ended up stomping hard on Natasha's stomach, causing her to cling to her stomach and scream.
Probably to prevent her from escaping in the short term. While he finishes off her brother.
"You goddamn *******!"
"Hehehehehhe," laughed the last attacker as he pulled out a knife.
Pride got a sour feeling when he saw the knife. Even though he had seen a lot of videos on how to defend yourself against a knife attack, they were still just that - videos...
When you also consider that he's pretty banged up, it only makes things worse.
"Natasha, I'll distract him. Run as fast as you can!"
"Arghh, but it hurts so damn much. Besides, I'm not leaving you!"
"LISTEN TO ME. AS SOON AS YOU CAN MOVE, GET OUT OF HERE!"
His assailant was fed up with listening to him. He kept coming at Pride, who managed to dodge him time and time again.
But at some point Pride slowed down. Eventually, the knife stuck to his chest.
He fell on his back and didn't move.
"Pride!"
"Stop it!" cried Natasha, who had tried to escape a few moments earlier, only to be dragged back by her hair.
Pride, subconsciously aware of the cries and voices, somehow managed to get back up in time.
Maybe it's the adrenaline, or maybe it's because his younger sister was going to get rap**. No one knows.
Slow... but sure, Pride was on his feet. The perpetrator seemed to be concentrating on "taking care of business". He didn't notice that someone was slowly approaching him.
Pride pulled the knife out of his chest, avoiding any screams, and charged at the very last one of them.
"ARGHH!, DIE, DIE, DIE," yelled Pride, plunging the knife into the unsuspecting foe's chest. Blood oozed from every imaginable place. But Pride didn't bother to stop, he kept on stabbing.
Eventually, Natasha pulled herself up and began to cry, clutching Pride's hand.
*sniff* *sniff*
"He's already dead, Pride, that's enough."
Pride let go of the knife and turned to face his sister, clutching her face with his bloodied hands.
"Natasha, I have lost a great deal of blood. I probably won't survive. Don't forget. I love you and the rest of our family. Tell them that. Tell them..."
*cough*
*cough*
Those were Pride's last words. He lost consciousness and fell onto his sister. Smiling.
„PRIDEEEE!"
