Chapter 12: 12: Real Devil Fruit Training

Up to now Maya was just stumbling along and relying on her new power as if it had no limitations or weaknesses. This type of thinking was extremely dangerous and childish for her not to think of as vital.

As the she was now in the heart of the Celestial Dragon private residents community Maya had to move slowly using bushes and gardens on land and rooftops of buildings that were in the way making as little sounds as possible.

Whenever a guard, a slave or any one else was within her view Maya was forced to hide and wait for them to move before she felt safe to move on.

Her goal was to find food, water and shelter while not going too far so that her enemy was always within her arms reach.

The problem was that place has to be safe enough for her to practice her unusual powers without limits. I men no none will feel safe exploding huge booms in front of a police station.

So Maya had to find a place that no matter how much destruction or noise she made no guars will ever show up to check it out.

[GURRRGGGGLE] her stomach just gave her the loudest demand that she has ever had in her entire life.

{What the heck?} Maya was confused as she was shore that she ate quite a lot of food just a few hours ago and than that huge watermelon in the afternoon too. But her belly was as empty as if she was starved and not had a bite to eat for an entire month.

{Can it be?} suddenly a thought of the power of the Devil Fruit appeared in her mind.

{Does the use of power requires a lot of food to be used?}

{Or Does it take stamina instead?}

{Maybe its a bit of both at the same time...}

Mayas mind raised from many possible reasons for her current situation than a scary thought hit her right in the heart.

{Wait what if it takes my life energy every time I use this power and I will die soon?}

As her mind raced about she stumbled on an abandoned mansion. The Celestial Dragons never reused or sold a location and lived in their own mansion until the day they die. As for the their children a new building was build on another location was always used a permanent home as the child reached age 19.

Maya has already stumbled on a few of them but this particular one was in its own little corner of heaven and just far enough to suit the current situation. Seeing this she decided to use it as her new home base.

The main door was left wide open as if asking her to enter.

Inside the kitchen:

A shadowy figure horridly dug throe the shelves and storage bins franticly searching for something. than it stopped and its shaking hands grabbed something in frustration. it placed the large item on the table carefully.

than the shadow attacked the item as if it was a hungry wild animal devouring it in mare seconds.

[GGGRRAAAAAWWL] a song of hunger echoed bouncing off the walls as the shadow slowly melted like the mist and finally utterly disappeared.

As you can guess this shadow was Maya.

Sounds of items moving on the shelves being moved and doors slamming continued, but the dark figure who was doing this before was no longer seen. In fact if a stranger was to come inside right this minute to see what plates flying and shelves opening by themselves, they will run our screaming that the house was hunted.

Mayas Power has returned and now all she had to do was too fill her belly to the brim before starting to test out just what exactly were the limits to her amazing ability.

Several weeks of pushing herself to the limit Maya was now in full control over her power:

Her Devil Fruit gave her the power over air itself. 

Maya understood this after performing several different tests to understand just what was her actual ability:

. She could disappear and be as intangible as air.

.She could remove items into the water-like fog and hide them from view but still use them as if they still existed.

.She could move items with her power but not her own body as it latterly became air and only the flow of external power had any kind of ability to physically touch or move items.  

.She could create an air bobble to breath under water.

.She could move the very properties of air and move them around as if it was a hand. Meaning that if she wanted to: Maya can latterly suck the air right out of your lungs. 

>On the other hand Maya had found limitations to her power as well:

.She had a time limit of 5 hours of constant use in a 24 hour day. But if she used it 20 minutes hear and 7 their the time limit was still the same. And food had nothing to do with it.

This means that Maya had to use her power under careful observation and to always keep track of the time limit. Forcing her to only use her power as a defense primarily by turning her body intangible. 

Mayas Strengths:

No mater how much you punch ok kick even if you use haki haki.

AIR will not feel it!

No mater how hard you swing a sword or what type of technique one used.

AIR was never hurt! 

In Addition Maya held the hammer with the sea-stone and the years of fighting to lean on during the times when she was going to fight week or normal opponents and keep her power hidden until an extremely dangerous enemy shows up. 

The many weakness of the air was apparent to anyone:

.She Can be pushed or puled. simply by applying a fan or a vacuum.

.She can get hot and cold super easily and not have any king of protection against temperatures at all.  

Worst of all she had a time limit that was simply unbedding... 

{Or maybe i can extend it?} Maya was trying to see if she could try to push her time limit just a little bit trying to push it by overusing her power over and over again.

The secrets is out Maya has a: (KuKi-KuKi) Fruit, it allows her total control over AIR in all its forms.
[including the molecules] such as oxygen, oxide and more - she doesn't know this et.
I decided to create a unique fruit for this series.
