“I have two dreams in my life. The first is to truly understand the depth of martial arts. Senior King had allowed me to see the furthest limits of martial arts by teaching me Tai Chi. I believe that as long as I persevere, I will reach the peak of martial arts and realize my dream.

“The second dream is to collect all the outstanding martial arts in the world, gather them into books, and distribute them to the world for everyone to see and learn. My greatest wish is to see a world where everyone practices martial arts. I know that it would be very difficult because martial arts are not something that can be learned overnight. In fact, even if many people can come into contact with martial arts, most would probably abandon it due to the difficulty. To make everyone practice martial arts is just a foolish dream.

“However, the Tai Chi that Senior King taught me made me see a glimmer of hope. Tai Chi is easy to understand and is not physically demanding. If there’s a world where everyone practices martial arts, I believe 80% of them would be practicing Tai Chi. Senior King, I have decided that after I descend from this mountain, I will spread the words about Tai Chi so that more people can know and learn about it.”

Martial Maniac left the mountain, bringing his pursuit of martial arts and his dream to give everyone martial arts. It seemed that he was intent on turning himself in.

Bang’s teaching and the glimpse of Tai Chi made him regret his actions so far. He decided he would dedicate his time in prison to cultivating his Tai Chi; it’s not like there would be much else to do in the prison. In a way, the prison was a rare and convenient place for that kind of training.

“Martial Maniac, where would you turn yourself in?”

“The biggest prison in the world, Smelly Lid Prison of J City. I heard that there are many vicious criminals there. They would serve as a perfect training companion.”

“Well, take care. We won’t see you off.”

“Senior King, Senior Bang, please wait for me. When I get released one day, I will personally come to thank both of you for today’s lesson, especially Senior King. If not for your selfless teachings, I might never see the true peak of martial arts in my life. Thank you.” The Martial Maniac paused and turned at Bang, his face complicated. “Senior Bang, before I went up the mountain, someone asked me to greet you.”

“Greet me?” Bang raised his eyebrows. A figure that he loved and hated surged into his heart. He suppressed his anger and said in a deep voice, “What did he say?”

Martial Maniac smiled awkwardly and imitated a certain person’s tone, “Hey, when you go up the mountain, tell that old man to not die so quickly.”

“I…” Veins bulged on Bang’s forehead, and his fist clenched tightly. Bloodlust radiated from his form.

“Who are you talking about?” King asked in confusion.

Martial Maniac silently mouthed something in response, but King didn’t quite catch it. He could only read the form of a single letter “o.”

King’s heart skipped a beat, extrapolating from the letter. “Son?” Does Bang have a son? I never knew about it. Could it be his illegitimate child?

He glanced at Bang. This old man…was not a proper person.

The Martial Maniac coughed a few times and cupped his fists. “Seniors, this junior will take his leave. If the mountains still stand and the blue water still flows, we will meet again in the future.”

King watched the Martial Maniac go down the mountain. He poked Bang’s waist. “Hey, Silver Fang, do you think he will go back on his word?”

Bang calmed down his love and hatred for a certain someone and shook his head. “Although Martial Maniac had killed many people, he has never killed any innocent bystanders. He was still a good person in his heart, outside of his obsession with martial arts that made him commit such a big mistake. Now he has repented. Besides, if he wants to study the way of Tai Chi, he needs a place where no one will disturb him.”

“There are many quiet places in the world. There is no need to go to jail, right?”

“But there aren’t many places where Martial Arts Association wouldn’t chase him. The prison is the best option, unfortunately.”

“…what a crafty guy.” King and Bang walked on the mountain path. Perhaps because of the hot weather, more mosquitoes were coming up the mountain. King waved his hand to drive the mosquitoes away. He frowned. “Silver Fang, don’t you think this amount of mosquitoes is unusual?”

Bang put his hands behind his back and replied calmly, “This old man’s eyes are blurry from old age. I can’t see.”

“Um, do you have mosquito incense on your mountain?”

“We have quite a lot of incense and candles. How much do you need?”

King gritted his teeth. “I also need your close-up photo. I’ll build a shrine for you.”

Charanko was sleeping happily until dusk, unconscious from when Martial Maniac knocked him out in the morning. When he woke up, Bang and King had already prepared dinner.

“Teacher, King, what happened to me just now?” He asked, still in a daze.

“The weather is hot. It’s just a heat stroke.” Bang replied casually.

“Huh….” Charanko touched the back of his neck, and a trace of doubt flashed through his heart. Would a heatstroke really be this painful?

Bang asked the carefree King at the dining table, “Hey, King, are you still planning to stay in my dojo?”

Bang had initially wanted King to stay longer because he wanted to take King as a disciple. However, he was discouraged after the endless string of defeats in the games. Moreover, the incident with Martial Maniac revealed King’s own powerful martial arts. Bang had lost any dream of taking King as his disciple. What would be the point in taking him in? Bang wouldn’t know King’s martial arts better than King himself.

King nodded subconsciously. Well, he didn’t plan to go anywhere while System had not recovered. He was afraid that he would run into Monster and get KO’d the moment he went out.

However, King’s life apparently revolved around some sort of cosmic comedy timing. As soon as he thought about System, the cold synthetic voice reappeared in his head.

“Ding! Congratulations to the host. This System has been successfully upgraded to resolve all fatal errors.”

“Ding! Recovering all functions…”

King was stunned. System’s interface popped up in front of him, showing an all too familiar character attribute:
