Chapter 30: Idyllic
Arthur stretched in bed, his arms going for the closest body that was lying next to him. He turned around, and snuggled into his bedmate. He heard a chuckle, and then he opened his eyes to see red hair.
"Apple pie, angel cake is the other way," Harry joked, and then got Arthur's hands off of himself. Arthur then turned, and hugged Tagas. The angel moved closer to him, and then turned around, still asleep.
It dawned on Arthur that now there was no going back. He had taken, or rather been taken, to bed. Those two were his lovers for true now. No denying that. He breathed in the scent of apples in the air, and the somewhat musky scent of Harry's cologne.
What had Arthur done to deserve them? He had no idea. Not only that, but he was just a country bumpkin. No one special. Yet, now, he had an angel and a demon for lovers.
He felt hands wrap around him from behind, and sighed softly. There was knocking on the door, and Arthur's eyes snapped open.
"Mother, don't come in," Arthur said. The last thing he wanted was for his mother to see him naked.
"Oh, don't come in? You scoundrel. Anyway, breakfast is ready. Wake the two devils, and get down," Arthur sighed, as his mother's retreating footsteps were to be heard. He kissed Tagas's neck, then, when that didn't get him any reaction, he bit gently on the exposed flesh.
Tagas did stir then. The angel looked around, and then turned into Arthur's hold.
"Good morning," Tagas murmured, and Arthur smiled at him.
"Morning, dear," Arthur told him, and then turned around to wake up Harry. He considered on how to do it, and then settled for kissing the red head.
Harry was responding soon after, showing that he was just playing on having gone back to sleep. Arthur thought about biting the demon's lower lip in repercussion, but then thought better of it. Harry would take it the wrong way, and tease him silly.
"Mother said breakfast is waiting for us," Arthur said, and he got out of the bed.
"Generous of her not to wake us up sooner," Harry muttered, as he saw that there was light streaming through the window.
"Yes, well, she must have put two and two together," Arthur said, and then went to collect his clothes. He put on his pajamas, as he had slept naked the entire night, and looked at the bed.
Tagas and Harry were getting up slowly. Long limbs glinting in the light. His eyes traveled to Tagas's lap, and he noticed that the man was hard.
"Someone is happy to see us?" Arthur teased. Tagas looked down at his member, and snapped his finger. It deflated, and he got his pajamas from the chair. "That was cheating."
"Was it?" Tagas said with a sly smile. "I just didn't want to keep Beth waiting."
"Yes, well, this innocent act won't work on me," Arthur said, as he leaned over, so he could kiss Tagas. The angel responded to the kiss with a gusto.
"Well, I think we can take our time in the shower?" Harry suggested, when the two broke apart.

"We will only wash," Arthur said, not meeting the demon's eyes. "I mean, mother will be in the kitchen."
"I get it, no fun this morning," Harry grumbled, and then walked pass them and down the stairs. Arthur offered his hand to Tagas, and the angel stood up as well.
"If we don't hurry, he will end up using all the hot water without us," Tagas said, and then let Arthur lead him out. After the shower, they went back to the bedroom, clad in bathing robes, and then dressed. The two supernatural beings snapping their fingers, and Arthur actually dressing.
When they sat at the kitchen table, Beth leveled them with a hard stare.
"You were loud," the old woman complained, and all but Harry turned crimson.
"Sorry, next time, we will spend the night at the apartment," Harry told her, not chastised in the slightest.
"Nonsense. I will just go outside," Beth told them. "This is your home, to all three of you. I won't chase you out of it."
Tagas blinked at that. Was this really his home? Heaven had been his home, but his brothers had never understood him. His desire to be more like the humans had gotten him in trouble with Michael on more than one occasion.
"Thank you, Beth, but we wouldn't want to be a bother," Tagas told her, and she huffed.
"You two might have nothing to tie you down, but Arthur has the farm to tend to in the morning," Beth argued, and she leveled her son with a hard stare. "Or, would you skirt that?"
"Of course not," Arthur said, head bowed. "I am sorry I woke up late this morning."
"It is not so late, it is still six in the morning," Beth said, and then she turned to Harry. "You are a bad influence, sly devil."
"Me? You are a bit too prejudiced; don't you think?" Harry asked her with a sly grin.
"It must have been your idea to lead my son to bed last night," Beth bit back, and then Arthur had to shuffle a groan. He had waited for the other shoe to drop. Now it did.
"Tagas was just as horny," Harry said, and Tagas buried his face in his hands.
"Harry, stop talking. These things are private," Tagas complained, and Beth chuckled.
"Well, as long as the three of you are happy, I don't see why I should chew you up too much. Just get an alarm set up next time," Beth told them, and she took a spoonful of her cereal.
"Yes, mother," the three chorused, and then began to eat as well. Later that morning, Harry and Tagas helped Arthur get the animals to the pastures, after the milking machines had done their job. After that, Arthur took them to the garden, so they could do some weeding and picking the vegetables for the lunch.
