Desires deep within, emotions boiling from the core. Indescribable feelings grabbing at the soul, a heart resisting the chains binding it. Even if it is but a somber morrow, that one from so long ago continuing onward. Memories may be hazy, power may be gone, but that is okay. That will to oppose what is reasoning constantly taking hold, fear may be great, despair escalating each step of the way. No matter so, no matter the sorrow, those emotions forever making itself into reality. Painful the heart may be feeling, agony incomparable, regrettable decisions of the past. Even so, that will to resist what is reasoning, that drive to reach out, grabbing hold of the nigh impossible.
The vampire turning from her, sorrow clearly expressing from his eyes. Even now, there are some things he cannot do, wondering if forgiveness is a possibility. Despite it all, the devil being in awareness that the one inside of his mind will very much do so. No matter so, remorse eating away at him by the moment. The time not being right, there is still much to accomplish. The eternal night growing stronger with each passing hour, powerful foes presenting themselves the longer it is continuing on. Seals being no more, ruthless monsters taking to the surface. That angel taking notice to the unsettling air, soon turning her attention towards the vampire.
"Are you well?" she questions in slight concern.
Her words catching his attention, perhaps a bit reckless he has been. Those emotions inside of him setting him astray, painful these experiences may be, but this is of expectance. The vampire turning towards her, smiling in her direction, scratching the back of his head. Nothing ever getting past her, awareness being at its peak. An old resolve slowly returning to the surface, even if horror is to befall the Nine Worlds once again, then that is okay. Desires deep inside, guilt from days of yore. No matter the morrow, even if the sorrow is indescribable. To endure this, to be able to make an impossibility a reality. Those endless emotions dancing in the eternal night, unsettling it may be, but also blissful one can say.
"Yeah, I am well—" he looks away from her.
His action catching her attention, a peculiar one this vampire is. No doubt this devil having a secret or two himself, that heart of hers feeling no sort of hostility towards him. The wind evermore gentle, emotions evermore high. The longer they are traveling inside of this nightmare, the more realities are becoming a possibility. Truly a mysterious occurrence, dreadful it may be, but also infinite in desires. Concern evermore deep, an unlikely companionship coming about. Even if the morrow ahead is but a somber one, those willing to reach out being able to find a new actuality.
"—just thinking how I will apologize to someone when the time is right..."
Placing his hands inside of his pockets, looking up into the velvet moon. A most simple concern, the young woman understanding this all too well. Her old friend being much like a child, how he will concern himself over such simplicity. Facing away from the devil, a faint smile expressing on her face. Childish this vampire is, to not know of the solution at hand. Either way, there is not much to say. Slightly looking away for a moment, the angel glancing back to him. That heart evermore gentle, those eyes lightening upon him.
"Apologize? What did you do?" she questions in some interest.
"I had to hide my identity from her..."
Those words taking her interest, perhaps in some suspicion as well. This familiarity coming from the demon, either way, there is nothing much to go on at the moment. Facing in his direction, gently looking upon the vampire. A devil he may be, but his heart is certainly in the right place. There is no good nor evil, simply where one is aligning themselves. This balance existing out there, desires leading the path ahead. That angel calmly looking upon him, carefully pressing onward. No doubt she has her own reasoning for doing so, many questions lingering inside of her. This opportunity no doubt proving quite the chance to answer some of them, her expression slightly more serious.
"Hide from her you say? What a strange fellow you are." She folds her arms.
"Heh...yeah..." He looks towards her.
"If anything, if she is a close friend of yours, then I am certain there will be forgiveness, so do not concern yourself. Simply ensure you properly apologize." Cyra softly speaks, slightly looking away.
"Right..."
Those words of the maiden meaning much to the devil, to properly apologize when the time is right. There are some difficult decisions to make, some of which can harm another. It may be painful, but that is okay. A bond that is strong enough will no doubt continue on, forever guiding the other. The vampire gazing up into the velvet moon, beautiful yet sorrowful it is. That object leading to so many memories, the view of it filling him with hope. Howling deep inside of the night, those two turning their attention towards the pathway ahead. Their vision resting upon the direction leading into a forest. There is only one way forward at this point, to continue on inside of this nightmare, playing into this dreadful game.
"The night is growing worse by the hour...there are many things sealed away in the depths of darkness. The faster the daylight returns, the better..." Cyra calmly explaining.
"Right, we should head onward. We haven't any time to waste." He responds in a conflicting tone.
Indeed he is correct she is thinking. Every moment being of importance, the longer they are taking to quell the night, the stronger it is becoming. That young woman looking into the sky, her vision resting upon feathers of malevolence that are falling from above. No doubt her other half being nearby, even so, for now she will have to ignore Rose. Those desires deep inside of her, emotions rising to the surface. Memories of the past, those answers residing within the endless night. That vampire walking onward, Cyra following along towards the forest.
Upon leaving the court of the castle, both finding themselves in a seemingly endless forest, one stretching on for miles on end. The thickness of the air almost staggering, crimson fog slowly enveloping the surroundings. The wind gently blowing, but also feeling sickening. Still, even more than that, emotions of negativity emitting from the forest. Despair clawing away at the moment, torment around each and every corner. Cyra walking ahead, surveying the area, the vampire slowly looking around as well.
"So many lost souls...the sounds of their crying can be heard, forever to wander this endless forest." Her tone slightly disheartening.
"For now, their souls will have to wander. You can return to ferry them at a later point." The vampire looking into the velvet moon.
Souls eternally in torment, crying going on for endless miles. The eternal night evermore unforgiving, even in death none can escape this horror. Unsettling the wind is, sickening really one can say. The clouds parting even more, slowly revealing the crimson moon into full view. Howling from afar, the air growing colder, and even more unnerving at that. Agonizing one can say, a monstrosity of lingering emotions. These feelings crashing against Cyra and the demon, those many trees all around not doing much in alleviating the danger in every direction.
"There is definitely something here, for now we proceed with caution." She warns him.
"Right..." He folds his arms, sternness of slightness.
The trees rustling, the wind intensely increasing. Those two immediately taking notice, negative energy surrounding the maiden. Voices penetrating her mind, souls of the many trying to reach through to her, sounds of anger and despair. These mixtures of emotions gripping at her, agony far inside of her. Tormenting it is, but for an entirely different reason. That young woman trying to maintain her heart of softness, those atrocities continuing their invasion of her mind. Selfishness at the core, anger expressing from the many.
"Valkyrie! Why do you leave us here to suffer?!"
"Valkyrie! You're supposed to be our savior from this hell!"
"Valkyrie! Ferry our souls!"
Souls wishing to be free, screaming at her to save them from this existence. Endless emotions grabbing at her, their voices loudly echoing through her. Those feelings within her boiling at her core, anger building inside of her heart. Those many suffering from the eternal night, monstrosities they are, perhaps being no better than those demons. The vampire witnessing malevolence secreting from her body, his vision of unease. No doubt it is far too soon, those countless emotions may very well solve one problem, but at the cost of so much more. Holding her hand on the side of her head, her vision resting onward, witnessing numerous souls floating around.
"Cyra! Don't listen! Resist their voices!" the vampire warning.

That malevolence slowly settling from her, the young woman taking a step back, negative energy rushing ahead. Both looking on, seeing that darkness slowly circling high in the sky, forming into a void. Those souls concentrating, their emotions wildly raging. Cyra slightly scowling in some unease, reaching for her blade. That maiden grasping the sword by the hilt, awaiting the enemy to come. Those voices turning into horrifying screeching, terrifying agony, malevolence spiraling around, grass turning on end. Trees growing silent, the wind ceasing. Souls doing all that they can, bearing their fangs against anyone within their path.
"They are using the energy all around them in order to take to a physical form...Cyra! You're the one with Reviver! Cleanse them!" the vampire desperately speaks.
Releasing her blade, shifting her grip to the staff on the lower half of her back. Lost souls forsaking their humanity, hatred manifesting into physical form. The eternal night, it can truly do anything. The dead returning to life, and the living falling into despair. A cruel horrifying cycle it is, nightmares coming into reality. No matter so, even if the night is but a terrifying force, there is always a way in resisting its reasoning. That void so high crashing down into the land below, concentration of malice taking form. Waves of negative energy rushing through, the pressure crashing against Cyra and the vampire. Those two companions blocking out the assault, their vision upon the force ahead of them.
"Damn..." That vampire falling to his knee.
Those eyes of the devil slightly trembling, witnessing the darkness brightly shining. Cyra taking a few steps forward, hatred of so many lost souls crushing down at her. Even so, the angel growing more confident by the moment, her vision unfazed by the threat at hand. The young woman resting her eyes on a figure inside of the darkness, her vision immediately adjusting to the enemy. That being slowly unveiling themselves, a massive arch demon stepping out. Dark scaly skin, twin horns, and jet black eyes. Fangs revealing from the fiend, dark wings expanding from its back. The vampire stepping away in unease, this staggering level of hatred.
"So, this is how far you pitiful souls have fallen." She looks down with pitiable eyes.
Cyra closing her eyes for a moment, hearing their endless crying. Their voices penetrating down to her core. Depressing it is, their actions of reprehensibility. The influence of the night may be grand. Everything being within its own form of reasoning, sins of impossibility in escaping from. That young woman knowing this much too well herself, one may try creating an excuse, but such does not absolve them of their wrongs. A heart inside of the darkness, but a soul yearning to be free from the shackles binding it.
"Valkyrie! Why will you not help us?!"
"Valkyrie! Free us!"
"Valkyrie! We will devour you!!!"
"Is that so—?"
Her eyes opening, that maiden gazing upon the fiend more seriously, the exerting pressure of the monster clashing against her own. Revealing her pure white wings, that angel ascending into the air, floating just above the ground. Facing upon her side, directing Reviver at her foe. Her vision serious upon them, a resolve so long ago slowly coming into reality. A heart of infinite desires, a soul wishing to go where it pleases. Desires forever burning inside of her, that will to oppose what is reasoning. Dreadful this may be, such being the way towards a brighter morrow.
"—I hate to disappoint, but I am no one's nanny nor slave. I will show you what happens when the fangs are out." Her voice piercing through the fiend.
"Vallkkyrriieee!!!"
Voices of mutation, hatred inside of them. Every step of the way, the vampire witnessing the return of someone so long ago. Hatred manifesting from the monster, the night influencing this madness. Terrifying this experience may be, but that is okay. That devil looking to the angel, her unwavering will. This feeling far within him, that one from the darkest days. Sins infinite inside of the past, a heart of softness. A resolve unyielding to those all around, one willing to embrace those imperfections and selfish desires. Even if it is but a somber morrow, that one willing to continue on in the deepest of abyss
"Even if your power is far from what it once has been, you will continue to fight..." Distantness of the vampire.
The fiend rendering its fist into the ground, burning away the surrounding area. Darkness ripping through the land, those hateful eyes resting upon the maiden. That fiend rushing in her direction, her senses immediately heightening. Negative energy circling around her, chains of darkness pursuing her. Instantly turning, that angel blocking the claw of the beast with Rebellion. Those eyes of the young woman meeting with the glare of her enemy's, endless screaming of her foe continuing by the second. Cyra slightly pulling away, a massive shockwave releasing from their collision. The exertion of the assault shredding the surrounding area, that beast continuing its rampage. The maiden meeting its attacks in kind, shockwaves tearing through the area with each collision. Flying away from the scene, the angel facing in the direction of her enemy, that fiend racing after her.
"Valkyrie...! Devvoourrr!!!"
Slightly frowning at her enemy, expanding her wings far and wide. That monster striking at her, hitting an afterimage. Those eyes of the young woman penetrating deep into the beast, Cyra taking advantage of the moment, rapidly circling the monster. Gathering the energy around her, building momentum by the second. That young woman ascending into the sky, a massive tornado ripping through the forest. The monster standing in the eye of the storm, looking up at her with such hateful eyes. The angel floating so high, her vision calm upon the fiend far below. That vampire blocking out the intensity of it all, this no doubt being far from her full capabilities, even so, this enemy resisting her influence.
"To think the eternal night can grant them the power to withstand the force of a god...it is unreal..." The situation unnerving the vampire.
Cyra looking to her staff, soon slowly descending towards the center. That monster backing away, keeping its vision upon her. No hesitation in the least, her eyes exerting such confidence. The beast menacingly roaring, ascending towards her. Malevolence intensely burning from its claw, her eyes locking onto her target. That angel vanishing, striking through the fiend. Standing at the bottom, her back facing towards the monster. The beast struggling within the air, its body suffering from paralysis. That monster falling from the sky, Cyra revealing Rebellion. Approaching towards the ground, the maiden barraging it with a flurry of assaults, backflip kicking it back into the air. Lances of divinity forming inside of the air, those weapons surrounding the beast in every direction, its eyes trembling at the lances all around it.
"If you think this is hell, you would be mistaken...this is simply the beginning..." She calmly turns.
Her voice calm yet cold, those weapons impaling the demon from every direction. Agonizing the pain is, the fiend burning away from the inside out. Screaming echoing through, those many emotions flowing through the angel. Even if she must take the most extreme of actions, then she will. Memories inside of the past, a heart yearning to be free, a soul resisting the shackles binding it. Desires burning from her depths, a will from times of yore. No matter the sorrow ahead, this being her resolve. That energy binding the monster in place, electrical energy rushing high above.
"Purification...well, you asked for a Valkyrie, or someone similar to one I suppose." That vampire standing, folding his arms.
Lightning of divinity striking from the heavens, the beast crashing down into the ground, that area devastatingly ripping apart. More lightning colliding into the fiend, the tornado closing in at the center, ripping away at its body and soul. That energy compressing, soon violently exploding. A warm light washing over the entirety of the forest, those wings of the angel dispersing upon the surroundings coming into view. Cyra calmly turning, the air returning to a natural feeling, the crimson mist being no more. Even so, the howling of the night still remaining at large. Her capabilities not surprising to the vampire, that devil soon confronting her.
"That was...kinda extreme..." He blankly utters.
"Those who stand before me shall meet their end, no exceptions. They asked for judgment, and I have given them such." She calmly turns.
"Ya know, I can see why you're still single. Anyone would run for the hills..." Unamusing of his vision on her.
It is definitely not the first time, nor the last that she will be hearing that line. The angel being well in awareness that she is not the simplest to deal with, a sigh escaping her, that young woman merely ignoring him. Cyra looking ahead, feeling the wind drawing her deeper into the forest. The night growing stronger, and that moon in which curses all shining even brighter. Even if the conflict ahead is a dire one, those emotions inside of her willing in seeing a better reality. One from so long ago, that will to oppose what is reasoning.
Yet another conflict due to the eternal night, to think hatred can be made into such a monstrosity. I must make haste, to put an end to this madness...hopefully you will be there as well, old friend...
