—Present Time—

Horror around every corner, fiends lurking in the deepest of shadows. Despair existing so far, a kingdom now in the control of the devils. An everlasting night, emotions deep inside, desires clawing its way to the surface. Outside of the kingdom, within the forest going on and on. Those trees being more like a maze, so many pathways, no doubt a natural trap for those invading. Deep into the night, hanging high in the sky revealing the beautiful crimson moon. That object brilliantly shining down, captivating it may be, but also carrying a terrifying secret. An endless night plaguing the world of the humans, a cold chilling wind lingering. From the depths of the shadows, eyes trailing the maiden and the vampire. Cold crimson eyes, bloodlust clearly being the intent. That vampire tiredly yawning, stretching his arms to the sky.

"Next time I am takin' a nap far away from this damn problem." He slowly looks around.

"If you are going to complain, then you may leave. I have no intention of making you fight." She calmly speaks.

"Oh, I can't fight anyway, sorry. I'm just here as a guide." He props his arms behind his head.

"A demon that cannot fight? Why is that?" she glances back to him.

His words catching her interest once again, devils being quite capable in battle, many knowing this well. For one to be unable to fight, there can be many answers. Peculiar this is, interesting one may call it. Infinite in mystery the night can be, that young woman having numerous questions. Despite it all, there are little answers to go with the many. A situation none can expect, horror plaguing the realm of the humans. Dreadfulness of it, yet one from the deepest of shadows slowly returning to the surface.

"Well, I lost most of my power clashing with that beast Hades. I won't be of any use battle-wise, that you will have to forgive me of." He apologizes.

"Very well." She turns her attention ahead.

Her vision slightly more serious, one clashing with Hades, coming out alive. Encrypting his words are, no doubt he is hiding something of value. This strange sensation inside of her, the young woman wondering why he will not simply speak the full truth of it all. Even so, at the moment, his secrets having no ground to violate his privacy. Until he is proving himself worthy of such, she will simply leave him to his own end. Movements approaching from behind, that angel noticing a wolf and orc trailing them. Her vision slightly more serious, the young woman dematerializing, taking to an energy form once more. Riding the surrounding waves, Cyra moving behind the wolf. Revealing her blade, severing the head of the hound. That beast lifelessly falling to the ground, blood spilling against the land. Turning with Reviver in hand, looking upon the orc for a moment, lunging her staff at it. That monster rushing at her, deflecting the weapon.

Devastating force the fiend is exhibiting in its state of frenzy, that beast charging towards her with its insatiable hunger. Stepping away, evading the first attack towards her right. The monster refusing in giving in, relentlessly pressing onward. A fatal error this will be, those eyes of the young woman locking onto her target, her blade meeting its wrist, severing its hand. Blood spilling along the ground, horrifying screeching escaping it. Closing the distance, Cyra standing upon her side, plunging her blade through its chest. Those crimson eyes piercing through its own, fear striking at its core. Closing her vision, moving behind the monster, that fiend falling to the land. Swiftly swinging her blade in that moment, cleaving its head from its body, that corpse falling in a bloody pile on the ground.

"You got a lotta issues huh." The vampire whistling, slightly raising his eyebrows.

"That is putting it quite lightly. Anyhow, it is necessary to ensure your opponent does not return. Brutality may be needed in such a case." She responds, calmly turning.

"Well, as long as you realize it I guess." He shrugs, looking at her in disbelief.

Even if the night is but a grim one, there is someone who can still experience the joy of pleasantry. To be able to have the time to engage in idle chatter, a fortunate innocence this vampire has inside of him. Cyra slightly looking around, feeling the unrest within the air. Taking a step forward, that young woman immediately stopping in her tracks. Howling of a beast extending far and wide, no doubt a fiend has been trailing them for quite sometime now. The wind growing colder, the leaves on the trees loudly rustling. A chilling feeling rushing down her spine, these violent emotions making itself into reality.

"..."

This intense pressure approaching her, grabbing at her. The air thickening by the moment, almost making it unbearable to breathe. The vampire glancing to his right, extreme movements coming from the bushes. Restless the night is, new enemies coming about each step of the way. There is not a moment to rest, one must continue on. To be able to resist the night, to keep going even when one's body is wishing to rest. Hearing the rustling around her, that maiden following it, trailing the movements to the highest tree. Resting her vision upon a beast, the monster descending far ahead. Cyra slightly frowning, watching the fiend revealing itself out of the shadows. A monster with the body of a man, and a head of a hound. Standing on two legs like a human, his silver fur glistening in the night.

"Tormented soul, just what have they done to you...?" her heart rather heavy, feeling the suffering of the monster.

"Argh...! I...I must find..." He struggles to say.

Excruciating pain striking at him, the monster holding his head, a frightening howl escaping him. The beast looking straight towards the maiden, bloodlust expressing from his vision. Closing her eyes for a moment, Cyra feeling sorrow coming from the monster. These endless emotions inside of him, one that is searching for someone or something of importance. Those desires inside of him desperately trying to win out against the monstrosity that he is, this indescribable pain coming from the fiend. Opening her eyes, that maiden gently gazing upon the beast. One can say there is some regret inside of her, the angel directing Reviver at the suffering fiend.

"I apologize...but all I can do is grant you a swift death." She states.

One that is no longer a human, but a monster of the night. Those desires desperately trying to resist, a body that is wishing to do harm. Emotions endlessly clashing, those blood red eyes glaring at the young woman. That vampire turning away from the scene, slightly glancing back. Knowing all too well of the suffering of this monster, awareness of what greed can do, the many repercussions it can have. Those feelings inside of the monster, trying to grasp at the many things he cannot do, that need for power. To be able to separate himself from another, to grab hold of everything himself.

"This will be a valuable lesson to you, to reflect on what greed for power can do.The vampire distantly thinking, looking away.

Those endless emotions, that young woman knowing these feelings all too well. One wishing to gain the nigh impossible, to want what they cannot have. A menacing beast he is, charging at her with inhuman speed. Once again, Cyra releasing her physical form, riding the waves of energy around her. Rushing behind the monster in an instant, materializing once more. That blade of the young woman closing in for a strike towards his head, feeling the pressure concentrating around her, the beast immediately grabbing her arm. Surprise expressing from her eyes, this speed devastating upon her. Loudly howling, that hound raising the maiden, smashing her all around into the ground, the surrounding area ripping away by the moment.

"Ugh!"

"Just so you know! I am not tagging in! You might wanna work out your issues!" that vampire clarifying.

"I swear those two are related..." Clear annoyance expressing from the eyes of the young woman.
