Chapter 38: Chapter 11: Those Without Salvation(Character Profile)

Many years ago, a scientist who wishes nothing more than to break the boundaries between humans and the gods attempts to break the taboo. Along with his partner, he builds a tower straight to the Heavenly Realm. This is where he encounters the guardian angel. At first, he would stand there, admiring the beauty that floats high above. Then he would notice displeasure from her, and quickly state his reasoning. Even so, she would not hear of any of it. She warns the humans, and they could have very well turn back, but they persist. Following their leader all the way. The angel now enraged, unleashes her lightning upon them, destroying the tower, and turning away as the humans fall to the land below, eternally cursing them with immortality. As they fall, the leader declares that he would have his revenge against her. Many years would pass, and their bodies would decay, their flesh falling off, eventually becoming the undead themselves.

Riza has always been a peculiar succubus, choosing the most unusual of locations to go about her business. Many years ago, she came into contact with the Seraph of the high heavens. Having fallen to her desires, she fought against the Seraph, and suffered a crushing defeat. Being a Defiler of Souls, her fate has been decided, to be purged. Still, out of a stroke of good fortune, she managed to escape the Seraph, and has been in hiding ever since, skipping through worlds and conducting her business. It is through extreme misfortune that she encounters the Seraph in her weakened form, but even through that, the power that is still held would be far too much to handle. Making it clear that no angel should possess the sort of power the maiden has.
