First the gods, then a madman, now an angel. That world in chaos, a war worsening with each passing hour. The longer the night is continuing, the more grim it is becoming. Around every end presenting a new challenge, the situation at hand becoming more dire. An angel with unnatural abilities, a single one she may be, but that being more than enough. That young woman striking fear into countless, rising from the depths of nothingness. That darkness inside of her, those desires strongly flowing. Her power may not be what it once has been, no matter so, that determination reaching for the nigh impossible.
"An angel...? Why does an angel want the body of the Harmonizer?" he positions his arms in a thinking posture.
"I don't know...I can't tell if she means harm or not. She is with a vampire, and a griffin of some sort..."
Angels of a solitary race, unusualness in part of a group. Likeliness of separation, even amongst those of themselves. Power not much, but still of greatness. Arrogance no doubt a fatal flaw, this one taking a more realistic path. Troubling news it is, an entity capable of decimating an army on their own. Not much the others may be, but together a formidable threat they will be. A most tricky situation to work with, but one in which Raphael will have to figure out. In order to end this night, to have Lucia in a state of peace once again, those desires of his igniting even more powerfully.
"That's a very peculiar group. Well anyway, I am glad you made it out of there, we will use this time to prepare." He faintly smiles at her.
"O—okay..." She looks away from him.
Growing fear spreading through the land, Hades the King of Hell. Numerous revering him for his tyrannical rule, that power and influence he is holding over many entities. The Prince of the Dragonkins, infamous for his ferocity on the battlefield, slaughtering countless lives. Both of these great powers beginning to fear the hastily approaching threat, that young woman nearing by the moment. No matter so, Raphael turning away, reflecting on the past. Lucia gazing upon him, slightly propping her head, wondering what is having him so.
"Lucia, you remember right? When we got together?" he questions, slightly smiling.
"Of course, you could have chosen a much better moment." Unamusing her expression is upon him.
A laugh escaping him, indeed that day has more or less been on the spot. Slightly kicking the ground, the prince remembering those days all too well. Pleasureful it has been, where the daylight is existing. That one that can be so shy in a moment, yet the opposite in the next. That valuable friend enjoying the bliss of the sun, those two continuing on away from the influence of the rest. Resting his vision on his hand, those memories flowing through the prince. That day all too well, a most welcoming one indeed.
Days of the past, the warm sun shining through the throne room. Lucia standing behind Raphael, that dragon looking upon a crystal artifact in the palm of his hand. Emptiness of the room, that throne seat of a luxurious gold. The servant's expression slightly stern, that master of hers constantly refusing one suitor after the next. Everything coming to a slow as a result, no matter how painful it is for her, she will do all that she can to set him on his path. Slightly relieving it is within his refusal every time, but also irresponsible as well. Conflicting emotions deep inside of her, yet the solution of clearness.
"Prince, you have to stop refusing everyone." She strictly states.
His expression slightly grim, no doubt time is running out, yet action has to be done. Those endless battles of a distraction, buying a bit extra time. Even so, this no less his final chance, a kingdom requiring stability. Faintly smiling, that prince knowing well that he must be willing to bet it all. Either way, it will be better than never knowing. Facing in the direction of Lucia, resting his vision upon those eyes of the wind. Her expression of strictness, that heart of purity. Lucia witnessing that smile upon him, wondering what has him so. The chance of someone in mind at last, her own heart paining at the possibility.
"What would you say, if I told you, I have my eyes set on one?" he gently questions.
"Well...that is a good thing..." She holds her hand to her chest, turning away.
That prince always having his own way of going about his business, sensibility in her not knowing. Evermore painful it is, but this no doubt for the kingdom, for the dragons to flourish. Raphael slowly inhaling and exhaling, reaching into his armor, taking out a rose. Either way, there is no going back at this point. To know now, or to never know. Heavy it is upon him, that friend constantly with him since his youngest days. Those two tackling through one thing after the next, sharing in sadness and laughter. Lucia knowing that those of his standing must keep moving ahead, even if it shall mean leaving behind a friend. Lowering her hand, accepting this outcome.
"Hey, Lucia...?"
Hearing his gentle voice, her heart at an unrest. Turning in his direction, her eyes resting on that rose. Some surprise extending from her, that faint smile upon his face. Holding her hand to her chest, uncertainty of words. Everything so sudden, putting her on the spot like this. Infuriating really, but this is no doubt Raphael being himself. Stepping towards her, that servant slightly looking down, thinking about this. An occurrence that is most surprising, doing so well in concealing himself over the years. Resting her eyes on the rose, slowly extending her hand. The door to the throne room opening, her heart skipping a beat. Grabbing Raphael by his waist, this action taking him off-guard. Lucia bending back ninety degrees, slamming him down into the ground, the impact devastating upon the prince.

"Ughh...I am so confused here!!!" Raphael speaks in dismay.
Lucia turning away, calmly folding her arms. The guard at the front merely looking on, wondering what he has even come into. Raphael rising to his feet, holding the side of his head, taking a step back. That prince seeing the guard, connecting the dots, the fault of his own for not at least locking the door. Raphael telling the guard to give him some time, importance in not disturbing the two. Confusing the situation is, but the person complying, soon leaving the room. Raphael walking up to the door, locking it. Shortly turning to Lucia, unamusing of his gaze. That servant facing in his direction, giving him the same expression.
"Yeah, my fault there..."
A sigh escaping him, timing of poorness. Putting Lucia on the spot on top of it all, this no less of expectance. The warm sun shining into the room, that breeze of gentleness. Making his way back over to her, Lucia slightly looking away, holding her arms. That servant still thinking on the rose, Raphael resuming from before, standing in front of her, that flower in his hand. Lucia looking towards it, thinking on what to do, those desires inside of her, that friend from her youngest days. Perhaps now and then it is not so bad to be selfish, extending her hand, taking hold of the rose, a faint smile coming to her face. Resting her vision upon his own, those friends of closeness approaching the other.
Those days of the past, blissfulness in it all. That prince facing in the direction of Lucia, the servant slightly looking down, looking away in some embarrassment. Walking up to her, extending a rose like in those days. Lucia glancing to the flower, soon looking upon it. Faintly smiling, extending her hand, taking hold of it. Even if it is something of simpleness, that is more than enough to express oneself. Meanwhile, at the castle of Raiser, fiends lurking in the shadows, that gate keeping out intruders. Wrath standing in front of the gate, a Reaper of Souls one can call him. Those spikes on his dark armor of bones, reflecting his many victims, that Accursed awaiting the arrival of the maiden.
"To think someone like you could actually kill Greed, now this will be a most worthy catch hm hm. Come little lost angel, and come soon." A devious smile coming to his face.
Even high above, on top of the walls of the castle, the gentle breeze blowing through. The calm night soiling in malevolence, a knight in armor of darkness. That Accursed sitting on the back of his horse, one completely black. That malice burning away at the animal, a Knight of Darkness, Envy. Calmly gazing upon the land below, the numerous mysteries inside of the night. An angel possessing power far beyond normalcy, one shaking the resolve of enemies far and wide. Most interesting this is, if not the moment the knight has been waiting for. Those sins inside of him, his heart yearning to be free from the torment deep within him. A body no longer of his own, a will stifling from the Lord of Darkness.
"Many were lost in the Great War, yet, such a powerful one still existing..." Envy calmly states.
Resting his eyes upon the velvet moon, that object cursing the night. Torment forever residing, agony incomparable. Those eyes of the Accursed of gentleness, his heart finally seeing a way out of this madness. His will no longer of his own, but certainly there is one that can free him. To finally rid himself of this darkness, his honor so deep. Hatred in those older days, his reasoning no longer in memory. It is almost as if a part of his life is missing, no matter so, this will to oppose constantly taking hold. Desires no longer there, only a body with no resolve of its own, blackness consuming him and his partner.
"I will be awaiting you, angel. Perhaps then, we can finally rest." He distantly speaks.
That horse hitting its hoof against the ground, years upon years it has been. Memories no longer within him, desires having no meaning. No matter so, his body underneath the command of the Lord of Darkness. A slave to one's mind, even so, this will to resist continuing to burn. Even if the chances are minuscule at best, it is well worth holding onto. That knight knowing that he is disappointing someone all too dear, yet this body of his not allowing him peace. Hazy memories of the past slowly making its way to the surface, the night revealing what is hiding deep within the darkness.
Far below, deep underground, an arena revealing. Gates on four ends, a massive open field at the center. A place for the valiant, or the suicidal, that no doubt is depending at the view point at hand. No matter so, a place purely of torture and nothing else now. A beast tamer standing at the center, his silver scales glistening, that fiend looking ahead. A hellhound sitting at his side, that fiend patiently awaiting its order. Lust, truly a fearsome Accursed, possessing an insatiable need to kill.
"If you somehow make it pass the other two, then this will be your final resting place angel. Hm hm, ah, I so hope you make it this far." He smirks.
That drive so long ago, insatiable it is. That fiend brutalizing his opponents, a punishment in those distant days. One residing in the deepest of shadows eternally engraving their will within him. Even if his memories are hazy of those days, this feeling within him, to kill the angel. Hatred deep inside of the Accursed, those many beasts inside of their cages. His whip hitting against the ground, the hellhound calmly sitting there. Even further back, that room hiding away so deep, the Lord of Darkness resting his eyes on the door outside of the barrier. A final stance it is, to align the necessary pieces for one final push, to determine the tides of the war itself.
"These three defenses will not be enough. I know that for certain...hurry back you damn angel...I need that body...!" frustration rising deep within Hades.
Every step of the way, the night slowly shifting in another direction. Cyra breaking through one challenge after the next, one from the deepest of darkness returning to the surface. Those words of Valor ringing through him, this hell upon him now. It is slowly making more sense, rising to his hind-legs, loudly roaring. A powerful shockwave hitting against the barrier, keeping in the devastating power. The Dark Lord landing back upon his four feet, that area immensely vibrating.
"Valor...next time I see you...! I'll rip you apart!!!" he yells at the top of his lungs.
