“Your highness, please do not misunderstand. I’m saying that the orthopaedic doctor who removed the planks was reckless. He’s a complete charlatan!” Toshi Amano immediately explained, “That Chinese young man you met was an expert in orthopaedics, and his skills were beyond fathoming. He actually did not require an x-ray to determine Prince Shinin’s condition before using an astonishing skill to fix the bone back together. Moreover, the medication that he applied for Prince Shinin has successfully fused the bones together. Even without any surgery, Prince Shinin can recover well.”
“Are you sure Shinin doesn’t require any surgery?” Yuko’s eyes lit up as the outcome was surprising.
“That’s right!” Toshi Amano continued, “It’ll be better if he had provided you with the medication he applied for Prince Shinin. That medicine can enhance the regeneration ability of the bones, and it’s completely made of natural herbs. There aren’t any hormones in it, and it’s extremely beneficial for Prince Shinin’s condition.”
If Su Tao heard Toshi Amano’s words, he would definitely be shocked. That’s because Toshi Amano wasn’t an ordinary orthopaedic doctor who relied on x-ray films. He had some knowledge about bone-setting. He’s someone who’s proficient in western medicine and had some knowledge in TCM.
“Medicine? He did give me a bottle of medicine!” Yuko suddenly vexed, “But I was in a rush and was only concerned about sending Shinin to the hospital. I have no idea where I placed the medicine.”
“It’s with me!” Princess Kiko immediately called out, “I saw that you placed it by the counter, so I kept it for you.”
“Quick, let me have a look at it!” Toshi Amano was a little excited and had actually lost his composure.
As Kiko handed the medicine to Toshi Amano, the latter opened the cap and sniffed it before he had joy revealed in his eyes. “That’s right, it’s this medicine! Don’t worry, with this medicine; there’s nothing to worry about Prince Shinin’s condition. He can slowly recover after two weeks. But it's best if we can find that person. His Planks Fixing Technique is unworldly, and if he can perform it again, Prince Shinin will be able to recover much better.”
“Doctor Amano, you’re the best orthopaedic doctor that the country has to offer. Can’t you do the Planks Fixing Technique?” Crown Prince Tomohito asked.
“I also know this technique, but it was something that I learned from a Chinese bone-setting grandmaster. Compared to a professional physician, my skills are definitely paler in comparison.” Toshi Amano honestly replied.
Right now, Prince Shinin was on the path of recovery. According to normal methods, he only needed a cast in place for a month to recover. However, Toshi Amano was a highly skilled orthopaedic doctor, and he naturally knew a better method. This was also the reason why the Imperial Palace could choose him.
“Then, contact him immediately!” Crown Prince Tomohito solemnly replied and continued, “It won’t be hard to find him from the nearby surveillance camera.”
After that, he immediately waved his hand and called someone over to leave an instruction behind.
When that person received the instruction, he immediately nodded his head and left.
The Crown Prince Tomohito swept a glance at his wife. Seeing her bawling her eyes out with her eyes somewhat swollen, he sighed and gently patted her shoulder. “I’m sorry. My tone was a little too harsh, but it was also because I was too concerned about Shinin. Since nothing will happen to him, everything is fine.”
Yuko nodded her head and laid her head against Crown Prince Tomohito’s chest and muttered, “He’s my blood and flesh, and I would feel more heartache than anything if he gets injured.”
The Crown Prince Tomohito sighed. His wife was too innocent. There were many people who wanted to harm Shinin, and his wife actually brought him out to play. Wasn’t that giving them a chance to act?
But fortunately, everything was fine. This was also the reason why the Crown Prince Tomohito comforted his wife after flaring out.
Meanwhile, Su Tao still had no idea that the boy he saved was the future Emperor of Japan, nor did he have any idea that the royal clan was currently seeking him.
He’s currently in Kohei Koizumi’s villa, and he had just performed another acupuncture session for the latter. Although it couldn’t do much to help Kohei Koizumi’s condition, it could at least slow down the deterioration.
Then again, Su Tao wasn’t doing it for nothing. After taking Kohei Koizumi’s pulse and performing an acupuncture session, he had a whole new understanding of cancer, and it’s a learning lesson for him. If he encountered another cancer patient, he’s confident that he can control the spread of the cancerous cells.
When he came out of the recuperating room, he heard a familiar voice and knitted his brows. What’s Lin Kun doing here?
When Lin Kun saw Su Tao and Kohei Koizumi coming out, his countenance was somewhat unsightly. After all, he’s courting Kohei Koizumi’s wife, and he naturally felt guilty in his heart.
Walking towards Lin Kun, Kohei Koizumi shook his hand. “Welcome to my humble abode!”
“Mr. Koizumi, you must be joking, right? How can you call this luxurious villa a humble abode? Wouldn’t that make people like me feel terrible about myself?” Lin Kun gave an embarrassed smile.
Waving his hand, Kohei Koizumi said, self-mockingly, “Sorry about it. My Mandarin isn’t that good, so please forgive me if I said anything wrong.”
“How can that be? You’re pretty proficient in Mandarin, and I’m just joking with you.” Lin Kun was pretty tactful with his words since he knew the art of social interaction.
As for Su Tao, he looked at Lin Kun before looking at Kohei Koizumi and inwardly sighed. Did Kohei Koizumi have a screw loose? He actually lured a wolf to his home!

Asaka Ochi behaved naturally while chatting with Ni Jingqiu. When women were placed together, they had many ways to kill time. They could chat about things from cosmetics to the latest fashion, and any of those topics could take up a long time. Asaka Ochi wasn’t someone who categorised herself above the common populace, so she had some common topics with Ni Jingqiu.
At this moment, the housekeeper walked over and whispered in Asaka Ochi’s ears.
Standing up from her seat, Asaka Ochi smiled. “The meal is prepared, so we can chat while we eat!”
Upon entering the massive living room, Su Tao swept a glance at the dishes on the table. Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs, Steamed Carp, Buddha Jumps Over the Wall… they’re all Chinese cuisines.
“All of you are valuable guests from China, so I specially hired a Chinese chef. But I have no idea if his skills are to your liking.” Asaka Ochi explained with a smile.
Lin Kun smiled as he picked up a piece of carp and placed it in his mouth before he exclaimed, “The taste is really authentic! I’ve never eaten such a good Steamed Carp even in China. The skin is crispy while the meat is tender. The taste even lingers on my taste buds!”
Seeing Lin Kun, Ni Jingqiu took a bite before she turned to look at Su Tao. Su Tao understood her well, and he could see a flicker of disdain in her eyes, signaling that Lin Kun was shameless. This was an ordinary dish, but he simply praised it to the sky.
Kohei Koizumi laughed. He naturally felt pleased as the host. “I’m assured that they’re all fitting to your likings.”
After that, he raised his cup and continued, “I’ll replace alcohol with tea to welcome my friends from China!”
Su Tao, Ni Jingqiu, and the rest took a sip of the alcohol. They had to admit that the alcohol provided by Kohei Koizumi had a unique taste. It tasted like a fruit wine, but there’s also a strong alcoholic fragrance that not only felt refreshing, but also smooth.
Picking up his glass, Kohei Koizumi looked at Lin Kun and smiled. “I heard that you own a hotel business in China?”
It’s just a themed hotel, and it cannot be considered a business. Lin Kun smiled. “It’s just a small-scaled one.”
“Have you thought of expanding in chain branches? According to my knowledge, the hotel industry in China might have passed its best period to expand, but there are still chances as long as you’re determined.” Kohei Koizumi smiled. He did not seem like a patient at all. Instead, he looked like a professional businessman.
“I do have thoughts of doing that, but it’s a pity that I don’t have the capital to support this idea!” Lin Kun bitterly smiled.
“I can support you!”
The moment Kohei Koizumi spoke out, everyone was stunned, including Asaka Ochi.
Kohei Koizumi patiently explained, “I might be a Japanese, but I have a deep interest in Chinese culture. I have had thoughts of investing in China a long time ago, but I’m just lacking a capable partner. I can tell that you have foresight, so I wonder if you’re interested in being my partner?”
Lin Kun had a complicated light in his eyes. He was wondering what Kohei Koizumi was planning. Was the latter trying to ask him to stop courting Asaka Ochi by offering him an opportunity?
“I wonder how much Mr. Koizumi is intending on investing?” He asked without a change in his expression.
Kohei Koizumi had already thought it out, to which he gave out a swift reply, “I intend to invest with 80% of the funds under my name. What do you think about that?”
Lin Kun was instantly shocked. Although he had no idea how much wealth Kohei Koizumi possessed, twenty or thirty billion shouldn’t be a problem. Wouldn’t 80% of it mean twenty billion? This was an enormous wealth, in which Lin Kun’s mind instantly went blank.
Could this be considered wealth coming in his direction?
Su Tao secretly took a peek at Asaka Ochi. When he saw the shock in her eyes, he instantly figured out that she was in the dark about this matter.
Kohei Koizumi’s words had utterly changed Lin Kun’s attitude and his flattering became even stronger.
Ni Jingqiu secretly gave Su Tao a vomiting gesture several times, and even Asaka Ochi wore a helpless expression.
Kohei Koizumi somewhat admired Lin Kun and seeing that everyone was done eating, he smiled. “Everyone, please stay at my place tonight. I have already gotten someone to clean up the rooms.”
“Then, I’m afraid that I will have to trouble you.” Lin Kun naturally, happily accepted the invitation.
But just when Su Tao wanted to refuse, Ni Jingqiu had already accepted on his behalf, “Since Mr. Koizumi is so passionate, then we won’t refuse.”
