A commoner’s rage would lead to blood splattering three feet away.
An emperor’s rage would lead to a flowing river of blood with floating shields.
Meng Lei’s rage would lead to the heaven fall and the earth rend.
Crack!
Crack!
Crack!
Each Elephant-Man was smashed into a bloody pulp as over 30 clouds of bloody mist combined for an incredibly bloody scene.
“A bunch of trash!”
Meng Lei kept the Elephant-Men’s bodies and separated their divine cores before he destroyed their divine spirits amidst petrified begging sounds.
“Ding! 1 Giant Elephant-Man killed. 920 million Divinity Crystals gained!”
“Ding! 1 Giant Elephant-Man killed. 64 million Divinity Crystals gained!”
“Ding! 1 Giant Elephant-Man killed. 62.5 million Divinity Crystals gained!”
“Ding...”
The Giant Elephant Gods were one of the ten great godly clans who enjoyed the same status as the Colossal Dragon Gods, the Titan Gods, the Angel Gods, and the Frost Gods.
Meng Lei might be cautious in the past, but he would not think much of them now.
At present, Meng Lei held his breath in concentration before he continued comprehending the laws of nature flooding into his mind.
However, like a leaking house caught in an overnight rain, misfortune rarely came singly as another group of uninvited visitors arrived shortly.
They wore milky-white armors, with huge swords of light and four pairs of snowy-white feathered wings. They emanated a holy aura—angels, they were all eight-winged angels!
“Where’s the great treasure?”
“The phenomenon disappeared too!”
“He must have taken the treasure!”
Whoosh!
The eight-winged angels swept their glances toward Meng Lei as murderous intent flashed across their eyes. That unusual phenomenon was so mythical that the treasure must be extraordinary. Hence, it attracted them here.
Yet now, the treasure was nowhere to be seen. Meng Lei’s presence here must have meant that he got that treasure.
“Kid, hand the great treasure, and we can let you live!”
The leading eight-winged angel bellowed coldly. That was Rodd Gabriel, an elder of the Gabriel Angel Gods in the Thunderbolt Divine Realm. He was also a Highest Order Angel—Seraph.
However, Meng Lei ignored him as he focused on understanding the quintuple-elemental fusion laws of nature.
Rodd Gabriel’s face became awful. Just as he was about to get mad, another eight-winged angel said suddenly, “Oh no, someone else is here!”
“Mm?”
Rodd Gabriel looked in another direction and saw a group rushing toward their direction. He recognized them instantly. “Damn it! It’s the Bahamut Behemoth Gods! These smelly chimpanzees are attracted here too!”
“The Bahamut Behemoth Gods!” A commotion erupted among the angels. “Elder, what do we do now?”
“The great treasure is ours, and no one shall snatch it away from us!” Rodd Gabriel yelled. “Protect him, and don’t let these monkeys take him away no matter what!”
“Yes, Elder!”
The other angels replied with an affirmative as they surrounded Meng Lei to—yes—protect him.
“It’s you!”
The behemoths of the Bahamut Behemoth Gods arrived shortly. They frowned once they saw the Gabriel Angel Gods.
They were a thousand feet tall, their golden fur stood up like steel needles, and their solid muscles were bulging like rocks that were full of explosive strength.
“So it’s the hypocritical birds!” The leading golden behemoth had a sour face. “And it seems that the priceless treasure has fallen into your hands?”
His name was Ludwig Bahamut, an elder of the Bahamut Behemoth Gods in the Thunderbolt Divine Realm, a powerful high-level Primordial Behemoth King!

“Of course!”
Rodd Gabriel sneered. “The great treasure is already ours, Ludwig. Why don’t you leave since you came late?”
Ludwig’s heart sank a little—the unusual phenomenon that came with the arrival of the treasure happened not long ago, yet, these birdmen were quick to beat them to such an extraordinary treasure.
But, since we’re here, why should we return empty-handed?
With that thought, Ludwig replied coldly, “Rodd, since the commotion over it was huge, the treasure must be extraordinary. Why don’t you show everyone?”
“The great treasure is ours. And it has nothing to do with you. If you don’t wish to sever our relations, leave immediately!” Rodd Gabriel said coldly.
“All I wanted was to have a glimpse of it. Why so nervous?” Ludwig said indifferently, “There’s a saying that, ‘All that catches sight of it should be entitled to a share’. Since we’re here already, we can’t just leave empty-handed, right?”
“What do you want?”
Rodd Gabriel’s face darkened.
“Bring out the treasure, and we’ll split evenly!” Ludwig let the cat out of the bag. “How about that?”
“You really want a fight, do you, Ludwig?” Rodd Gabriel said as rage mounted.
“Rodd, if you know what’s good for you, hand the priceless treasure immediately!” Ludwig’s true intentions revealed themselves. “Or else, I don’t mind leaving all of you lying around here!”
“You foul monkey, you’re too much! If you want the treasure that bad, let’s see if you have the capabilities to snatch it from us!” Rodd Gabriel bellowed as a gigantic holy sword appeared in his hand. He pointed the tip at Ludwig, a cold glint flashing across the blade’s surface.
“We’ve not met for so long, and you’ve grown to be aggressive. Fine, I’ll play this game with you today!”
Ludwig waved off the rest of the behemoths before he shot forward. “Come on, Rodd! Let me see whether you have improved after all these years!”
“You’re going too far!” Rodd yelled.
He prepared to meet Ludwig with his sword. Just as a fierce battle seemed inevitable, Meng Lei opened his eyes suddenly.
“Are you guys done already?”
Meng Lei’s voice was not too loud, but it was clear enough to be heard by everyone. The angels and behemoths looked toward him.
“Who’s there?”
Both Ludwig and Rodd stopped at the same time before their battle started, and they looked at Meng Lei with surprised looks.
Meng Lei was furious, like a volcano ready to erupt anytime. He swept a glance over the bunch of angels and behemoths and demanded, “If you all don’t come up with a plausible explanation, I’ll make sure you stay here for eternity!”
“Little fellow, who are you to speak to us like that?” Ludwig snorted coldly. “If the priceless treasure is with you, hand it over! Or else, I’ll devour you alive!”
“Eat me? Aren’t you afraid that you’ll break your teeth?”
Meng Lei scoffed.
“You have a death wish!”
A terrifying aura emanated from Ludwig, sending the eight-winged angels surrounding Meng Lei flying. Ludwig took only a step to reach before Meng Lei.
He then swung his gigantic hairy palm toward Meng Lei’s head. Any ordinary person would have been crushed by it.
As usual, though, Meng Lei did not attempt to dodge at all as he watched the gigantic palm crashing on his head.
Bam!
With a muffled bang, Ludwig’s hand bounced off Meng Lei’s head. The head seemed perfectly fine as Meng Lei stood casually in the same spot.
“How can this be?!”
Feeling the numbness from the palm that struck Meng Lei, Ludwig’s eyes were wide open as if he had seen a ghost. Horror and inconceivability filled his eyes.
How was it possible that he could not even move Meng Lei’s head with his strike? What kind of joke was that?
“Only this little strength?” Meng Lei mocked. “It’s not even enough to tickle me, and you wanted to eat me? Maybe you don’t mind becoming the joke of the Thunderbolt Divine Realm!”
Ludwig would have become terribly enraged by now after being mocked like that. However, cold sweat broke out of Ludwig’s back while his heart sank.
“W-who are you?” Ludwig asked in a low voice. He had a bad feeling that he might have run into a wall this time.
“The dead don’t have to know!”
Meng Lei shook his head as he appeared right in front of Ludwig like a specter and poked a finger on Ludwig’s forehead.
Splurt!
A bloody hole appeared.
