Ai looked like she was having an existential crisis and Quinthreath had his brow furrowed so deeply that there was a deep trench in between his eyes! Ai couldn’t believe it! She was trying their best to understand how in the world it was possible to kill a Celestial! Han said it like it was something so simple! Quinthreath already heard it before so he was only trying to understand what Han said about entering the Celestial plane.
Han could see they were still trying to understand everything and he waited. The truth was that even though the two kings were stronger than some of the Celestials, those Celestials were weak ones who weren’t even fighters, just like the scientist. And just because they were stronger than the celestials, that doesn’t mean they will be able to kill them. The only reason Han could kill a Celestial was that he had the King’s system itself and had unlocked the administrator control. If Han had an ordinary system then there was no way in the world he would have killed the scientist. These fuckers are immortal for a reason. They won’t just die because you beat them to the ground a few times!
But Han still needed them because even if they can’t kill a Celestial, they can easily capture one.
It took some time but Ai finally sighed and looked at Han again. She couldn’t deny he was telling the truth, she could confirm herself that there has been no sign of the scientist ever since Han came into the temple. There is no way that is a coincidence!
“Promise me that you will find a way to get me and my people out of this temple. Just promise me that and I will follow you till the end of the world and back as many times as you want me to,”
Han’s roughish smile was enough to make Ai gulp in anticipation. Han hoped she remembered that promise she just made because where they were going would be far worse than the end of the world! Ai knew that it would be dangerous but she wouldn’t back down. This was another chance that she hasn’t gotten in thousands of years. She could tell that if she just let this go then she will regret it! And so, once Han gave her his word, Ai gave him her hand.

Han sighed. They were still not enough. Most of these people were only white stars and a white star will have no chance against a Celestial! Han had to go higher! He had to find the other kings! Luckily for Han, after he got the boost from Quinthreath, he managed to rise in the ranking again. Now the ranking looked like this!
5. Han Luo (Mage) – Overlord
.
7. Ratte (Journeyman) – Wayward Master
8. Troy (Tank) – The Immovable

10. Quinthreath (Mage) – Lord Of The Rings
Han didn’t even know how he wasn’t at number four already! The people at number ten till number four were the kings in the temple so Han now knew he was the second strongest King. It was an impressive improvement, but he still needs to get the first and third kings before he can move to the top three strongest in the temple! Han decided that he had to get to Ratte first before anything else. That man is the third person that Freya told him about.
Han managed to get some information from Quinthreath and he was shocked when he heard Quinthreath describing Ratte as a coward. What? How can three be a king that is a coward! That is impossible! He wouldn’t even be able to become a king if he is that cowardly!
Han left Ai’s kingdom along with Gregory and Quinthreath and moved back to the castle on floor fifty-five. He was currently in a meeting with them and the generals as Quinthreath told him this. Han was refusing to believe it. He knew that the kings were not all the same but the one thing he knew about all of them was that they were all bold and brave! Not a single one of them ran away from their responsibility! Even Freya that tried to trick Han was still brave because she was going up against someone stronger than her! What kind of King is this Ratte!?
Han hummed. If this is the case then Ratte may no longer be in his kingdom at all. According to Quinthreath, Ratte ruled over floor sixty-three. If he is as cowardly as Quinthreath says he is, then would his kingdom not already be abandoned? Han had to make sure. He couldn’t just leave that man to escape like this. He was thinking about sending one of his subjects to make sure about what happened to Ratte, but Han decided that he would go personally. Ratte may be a coward but he is also a king that is stronger than Troy and if I send someone weak they wouldn’t be able to handle him. I need to make sure I catch him before he runs away. Han stood up and told Gregory to get ready so they can go to floor sixty-three.
…
Gregory was getting ready to go to the higher floors when he heard someone knock on his door. He already knew who it was before he even opened it. Esse was standing there with a glare on her face as she stared at Gregory.
“What do you want? I am going somewhere with the king. I don’t have time for this,”
Esse had a look of absolute anger on her face. She has been thinking about this for a while but she still hasn’t been able to get an answer. Back on the fifty-seventh floor after Han killed Freya, why didn’t Gregory kill her? She was unconscious in the room because of Han’s BloodLust and she only woke up in a room here after Gregory took her away from there. She didn’t even need to be told that her king was dead because she could feel that her contract was now belonging to Han.
“I need to talk to you,”
Esse said this and Gregory rose a brow before he told her to come in. He went back to packing as she stood beside his bed. Esse was a little shocked by how simple his room was. Everything was in black and the entire room was so dark! Gregory was already used to living like this because of that prison he was trapped in before, but Esse wondered how he can even sleep here! There wasn’t even a single window in here!
“You wanted to ask me something. I have to go soon so you better hurry,”
Gregory said this and it snapped Esse out of her trance. She quickly spoke up.

“Why did my king die but you didn’t kill me?”
Gregory stopped what he was doing as he looked up to see her face. What nonsense is this? He wasn’t even the one that spared her life so she shouldn’t be asking him this question. Go and ask Han! Gregory said this to her and Esse looked away nervously. Gregory understood immediately.
She was terrified of Han. She couldn’t go near him without being scared so she came to me instead. What the hell did you do to this girl, Han? Every time I think I know how cruel you can be you just surprise me a little bit more.
Gregory finally decided to answer her.
“You won’t understand the king’s plan. He needs as many people as he can get to fight the war that’s coming. He killed your king because she tried to kill him but you were just following her orders, there is no need to kill you for being a good right hand, I think that is what Han will say if you ask him. Is that enough for you?”
Esse was a bit surprised. She wasn’t used to King’s being kind at all! Even her former king would have killed everyone associated with her enemy if she was in Han’s shoes. But what kind of fight was Han planning? Something big enough that he would even spare his enemies just so he would have enough soldiers? Who were they going to fight? If couldn’t be against the other kings, Han is strong enough to handle the other kings on his own. Then, is he trying to fight the top three in the temple!? That is suicide!
Gregory could see what Esse was thinking and he gave her a grin. She had no idea just how ridiculous Han can be. Gregory finished packing and threw his bag over his shoulder.
“If that’s all. Then I have to go,”
“Wait! How can you even trust me if that’s the case? Doesn’t your king know that I’m the enemy? I can still try to plan against him,”
Gregory scoffed.
“I would advise you against it. If you try it then I’ll kill you long before you can get annoying enough for Han to kill you himself. Don’t underestimate the king, many people have done it before and they’re all dead,”
Gregory took a step toward her and Esse felt her heart skip a beat! she cursed at herself as she narrowed her eyes and stepped back. She couldn’t deny that she really liked Gregory, but that was before all of this happened. Right now, she just couldn’t trust him. She always thought she would never be seeing Gregory again after that visit that Han made to floor fifty-seven but it didn’t turn out how she expected! She never knew that all her king’s plans would fail like this!
“Don’t do anything stupid, that’s the only advice I can give to you. If you want to see Han angry then you are free to do whatever you want, but just know that the anger you saw before was nothing compared to what he can really do,”
Esse shivered at the image of an even angrier Han flashed through her mind! Gregory doesn’t usually say things like this, but this time he said it because he knew that it was all true. What Han could do to someone was much worse than what he has been doing. Gregory saw that fight against the scientist and that was the only time he saw Han going all out before. Han still hasn’t shown anyone what he can really do.
Gregory left Esse with only that before he fell into his shadow. Once he was gone, Esse finally released the breath she didn’t know she has been holding and held her chest! Her heart was beating like a drum! Why did she have to fall in love with this bastard!!?
But Gregory is right, I can’t even think of going against Han. Even if I wanted to, who can I ask for help? Almost all the other kings are under him already. Dammit. Esse felt complete defeat. There was nothing she could do.
