After everything that Han said, the only thing that Balance could do was sigh as she finally sat back on the bed. The world around them changed back to the white room and she pulled her legs up to her chest as she spoke.
“Leave then, there’s nothing more I can do for you. You’ve passed the test”
Han was surprised. What? Was she not going to try and talk him out of it at least? He expected her to at least give him one more scolding but she was just letting him go?
Balance knew that nothing she says will change Han’s mind so she didn’t bother to try and convince him anymore. It was better to let him experience it on his own. She was also curious if this silly man can change the world. She wanted to see how Han would change things in the future. Now she understood why the Watcher has been interested in watching Han all this time, he is unbelievably interesting.
“I don’t know if you can do it. But if you go out there and you’re truly suffering, then come back to me. You seem like someone I can fall in love with if I try, so don’t suffer alone.”
Balance said this with a smile and she went back to lying on the bed. Han nodded to her. He was sure that they would meet again, but for now, Han needed to keep going! Han saw a portal open on the wall at the side and he just walked up to it and crossed over.

In the celestial plane, Paladin perked up as he got the message from one of his spies inside the temple that Han already passed the second test! Han already passed the first two tests and he is already going to the third test! That means that Han will be arriving at the celestial plane very soon! Paladin looked down at the contraption in his hand as he wondered if this would be finished in time. It was a weapon that he was making in preparation for Han’s arrival. Right now he was only done with half of the weapon and he was sure that if he didn’t finish the other half in time then Han will surely defeat him once he gets to the celestial plane. Paladin knows that Han is not going to easily forgive him for attacking his family and there is no way that Han would have forgotten about something so important.
Paladin decided that it would be in his best interest to start forming alliances. The other celestials in the celestial plane didn’t have a reason to attack Han right now. Most of them did not know that Han was already on his way, and they also didn’t know that Han had the system of the Binary king. They are only interested in watching the mortals play around in the temple and they don’t know the sort of danger that is coming for them. But Paladin needs to manipulate them enough so that they will start acting. If the other celestials don’t act then they will be caught off guard when Han arrives here. Paladin decided that he will go and speak to some leaders that he knew owed his favors. Since Raphael already knows about Han, then he doesn’t need to go and speak with him, but he has to go to the other Celestials and talk to them.
There were ten races of Celestials in the celestial plane and they all lived in a different spaces or dimension that are very far from each other. The celestials might all belong to one group of immortals, but they were not friendly with each other. Each Celestial race strived to be better than all the others and the leader of each Celestial race wanted their race to be the best. So they all had this silent enmity going on between them.
But that doesn’t mean shit to Paladin. Paladin was not involved in the nonsense competition going on between the races. He was one of the most influential Celestials because of those races he helped with his high intelligence. Certain races owed Paladin quite a lot and if Paladin goes to talk to them about Han, then they won’t have a choice as they will start preparing to support him. And besides, Paladin can’t bear the blame for this tragedy alone! Paladin was only one of the many Celestials that persecuted the Binaries. If Han wants to fight the enemies of the Binaries, then Paladin won’t be the only one he has to fight! He will have to fight many races!
Paladin finally moved away from his laboratory in the mountains and flew away to go and talk to the first race. He decided that the best thing to do is to go to his own race first. His race was known as the Thinkers. They were a race of brilliant mechanics and scientists that lived in a floating city in the sky. The Thinkers all had very high intellect just like the binaries but they were never able to challenge the binaries since the binaries were much smarter than them. But now that the binaries are gone, the Thinkers are the smartest race in the celestial plane. Paladin flew for more than a day before he could get to the home of the Thinkers. Even with his immense speed, he still had to travel through three dimensional rifts before he could get to the large space in the sky where the floating city was. The celestial plane was extremely large and even beings that moved at three times the speed of light would take a year before they can get from one side to the other.
Once he got to the city, Paladin was stopped at the gate by a group of guards who are in charge of protecting the gates.
The city of The Thinkers was made entirely of glass. From the walls to the ground, everything in the sky was made from one type of glass or the other so it glistened and shone like a diamond in the sky. It was very beautiful.
But even though it was only made of glass, this glass was different because it is capable of stopping even the strongest ocular or spy skills from penetrating the city walls and no one will ever be able to see inside from outside. This was developed by Paladin himself and he only created it so that he could hide his experiments properly from those bastards that were trying to spy on him. It was the king of The Thinkers that begged Paladin to allow them mass produce the glass and Paladin decided to allow them to use it to recreate their city.
Unlike other races that had a lot of ranks and positions, the Thinkers only had three ranks.

The Royals.
The Lords.
The Subjects.
The Royals were the family that ruled over the thinkers. They had the most brilliant minds out of all the Thinkers and they are responsible for improving the city and developing the living conditions of the subjects.
The Lords are the five families directly under the royals. They are also responsible for taking care of the city. But their main job was to take care of the financial and economic livelihood of the citizens under them. Paladin was a member of one of these five families. He led a family of Lords and he had his territory that he looked over. Even though he hasn’t been to his territory in hundreds of years, he wasn’t worried about his territory. No one will dare to try and take it from him because they were all frightened of the connections he had with the creator. And he was sure that his subjects are smart enough to take care of themselves even without him being there to hold their hands.
The last rank of the Thinkers were the Subjects. This is where the guards and other regular citizens come from. The subjects were not always the smartest and even though they are still competent, they are not able to hold a candle to the royals or lords.
The guard at the gate looked at Paladin with an impassive stare before he brought out a ball and held it in front of Paladin. The reason he did this was because of how popular Paladin was. Paladin was very well known around the Celestial Plane and it will not be a surprise if someone tried to imitate his appearance to try and get into the city. They have had so many impersonators that tried to steal their inventions by impersonating Paladind’s appearance and they cannot allow anyone in without taking a test to make sure that person is who they say they are.
Paladin touched the ball and it lit up with a green light. This was another thing that Paladin invented. A ball that took a small sample of your celestial essence, and if you are not using any skill to try and hide your appearance it will turn green. If you are using any skill to hide your appearance then it will turn red. Paladin created this as a toy when he was still very young and he decided to give it to the city to raise his prestige. They all hailed it as his most amazing invention, but they didn’t know that it was just a child’s toy. He had a much better one he was using at his lab and this small thing isn’t even worth much to him anymore.
Once the ball lit up with a green light, the guard brightened up in glee and immediately welcomed Paladin respectfully! They all had high regard for Paladin and they were now respectful since they were sure that he was the real deal! Paladin only nodded to them as he flew into the city, Paladin looked around him and he saw that the city was exactly the same as it was a hundred years ago when he left. He couldn’t believe that these idiots didn’t even bother to improve on anything while he was gone. Are they all waiting for him to come and give them another invention? How can they call themselves the Thinkers when they do even think for themselves?
