Rau was going to meet up with the guild master of the guild on floor sixty-three, Risque. The two of them were meant to talk about their strategy for this mission before they went out to handle the rogue guild. The guild master, Risque, was the same woman that helped Han and Gregory to move to a higher floor after giving them the mission to fight that Kraken a few months ago. After Rau and Gregory took care of the Kraken, Rau made sure that he kept contacting Risque. She was a guild master and it would e good to have a connection with her in case there were ever any problems with a guild.
One of the reasons why Risque kept up her contact with Rau was also because of Han! When Han came to the guild last year, Risque didn’t know that the person she helped was actually Han Luo and she always regretted not speaking more to him when he was right in front of her! She wished she had spoken to him more and formed a closer relationship with him! If she did, then she might have even gotten her guild to become closer to the king of kings! She always regretted that moment!
And that is why she was always asking Rau if he could help her to contact Han. Anytime she sees Rau she would ask him if Han spoke about her or if she can have a meeting with Han! Rau couldn’t help her with that even if he wanted to because Rau himself hasn’t seen Han in months, but Rau was the only person she could ask so she had to keep trying! No one else on this floor can say that they are close to Han Luo. Risque once thought of going to the higher floors to see if she could get closer to Han’s family since everyone knew that his family lived on floor ninety in the mansion of Esteroth, but Risque immediately got rid of that idea! She knew it wouldn’t be good if she tries to use the king’s family like that. She might completely ruin her relationship with him before she even gets to know them!
Risque met Rau in the guild house on floor sixty-three and they shook hands calmly and immediately started up their meeting. The first thing they had to do was map out the region they might be fighting in. They knew that they could cause unwanted damage if they fought in a populated region so they would have to move the fight to the forest outside the city on floor sixty. That means it would be a good idea to fight at night. If they do that, then the nightwalkers in their group should be able to transport anyone that is not involved in the fight out so that they don’t cause too much damage!
Floor fifty-nine was the territory of king Ai so it would be easy for them to ask her for her help. She was the strongest nightwalker king and she had a lot of strong nightwalkers in her army. If she hears that there is trouble right above her territory then she won’t just sit back and do nothing.

“I think we can finish the job in one week if we have enough help from King Ai. The Alcatraz guild was already dying off because of what King Han did to them on the lower floors and they went into hiding for a long time, but when they heard that Han left for a higher floor, some of the higher members starts to show up again. We can erase them before they become too big.”
Risque nodded to Rau’s statement. She trusted his judgment because she has gone on many missions with him already. She had watched him grow from a rash brat that just wanted to protect his sister into a man and she can only say that King Han had an amazing eye for talent! Rau was a natural leader and he always acted properly on missions! Risque wanted Rau to join the guild as well, but Rau told her a long time ago that he would only follow Han. Rau didn’t have any reason to leave Han’s command and nothing she could do would make him join the guild.
It was said with such confidence that it left Risque shocked! She understood the reason why Rau had so much faith and dedication to Han, but it was still shocking. Rau looked like he was willing to even lay down his life if Han asked him to! Risque knew it was a great conviction and it was that same conviction that allowed Rau to stop the civil war on floor sixty-three a long time ago. He had really grown.
Rau was still looking down at the map and he spoke up while furrowing his brow.
“Do you think we’ll run into any other problems on the way? I haven’t heard anything from the higher-ups, but some of the guild members are saying that the monsters on that floor are very aggressive. And even the celestials have been too silent lately. Do you think they’ll act up anytime soon? The calm before the storm?”
Rau was right. Ever since Paladin came to the temple and destroyed an entire floor in the fight against Han, the celestials have been uncharacteristically quiet! The chosen were usually being watched by the celestials and the celestials would give them some missions or even rewards! The celestials didn’t ever interfere with the chosen and they weren’t actively trying to make the chosen do one thing or the other but it was always obvious that the celestials were watching! Every chosen that comes to the temple always passes through the first floor where they would be welcomed by a celestial and that would be the first thing to tell them that they are being watched!
But lately, the celestials have been too quiet! Even the regular missions where the chosen would go to collect chosen from other worlds had stopped! This could mean anything and no one knew what the celestials were planning!

Risque shook her head. She knew that the celestials being quiet was strange, but she didn’t think that this mission would be related to that at all. The celestials might be quiet but that shouldn’t affect this mission. We just have to finish this as soon as possible
After Risque and Rau finished preparing everything, they set out for floor sixty. They decided that they shouldn’t allow things that were out of their control to bother them. The chosen didn’t have any sort of method for contacting celestials! The celestials were far above the chosen and those that were on the lower floors could never even think of contacting a celestial! So Rau and Risque just decided to go complete the mission.
…….
Ratte was nervously waiting in his holographic form for Yggrain to show up. Today was the day when Ratte was supposed to give Yggrain a report of the actions of the chosen and Ratte could feel sweat travel down his neck like always! He always felt nervous when he comes to talk to the celestials! Ever since Paladin came to the temple, things have been very different! Yggrain no longer spoke about the celestials coming into the temple! For some reason, all the celestials were quiet about what happened! Han beat up a celestial and almost killed him and no one was even talking about it! Ratte knew that there was something bigger at play here! There has to be a reason why none of the celestials were trying to get revenge! But Ratte wasn’t going to try and ask about that! Ratte didn’t care what the Celestials did so long as it didn’t affect him directly!
Ever since Han left to go to the upper floors, Ratte has been feeding Yggrain some lies about the temple! Yggrain must never know that the chosen were trying to go against the celestials since it could lead to a bloodbath.
Han was the only person that could fight against a celestial. Esteroth might be able to fight off a weaker celestial, but it would be impossible for Esteroth to win against a celestial that was as strong as Paladin at full power! If the Celestials knew that the chosen were trying to build an army, they would likely come and kill them. And since Han isn’t around, we won’t have any way of defending ourselves! It would be a slaughter! I have to hide this from Yggrain no matter what!
Even though Ratte was no longer working against the chosen, he still only cared about himself! He didn’t care about anyone else and he was only hiding all these things because he would also lose his life if Yggrain finds out that Ratte has been lying.
Ratte was afraid of Han and Han was the one that forced Ratte into this mess. If not for Han, Ratte would have gladly ratted out all the chosen just to save himself! But if Ratte tried it, Ratte knew that Han would kill him! Ratte felt despair in his heart as he knew that he was fucked no matter what he did and it was all because of Han. If only Han never showed up, I would have still been enjoying life like usual!
