Han couldn’t stop the chuckle that came out when he heard that Orochimaru swallowed Gretha. For some reason, he couldn’t see anyone else but Gretha doing something so stupid. Han decided that he would get Orochimaru to release her when it gets back. Gretha might be an idiot, but Han needs her alive to help him on the upper floors. It won’t be good to not have anyone to watch your back when you’re in hostile territory.
It sounds crazy to me whenever I think about it, but Gretha is actually the strongest out of all my allies. And she will be the most useful up there.
She knows the celestial plane like the back of her hand because she has lived there for years already. If there is anyone that can watch my back, then it is her. I just can’t believe that crazy woman is the only person I can trust to watch my back up there. I really have my work cut out for me. Han sighed in tiredness.
Rina noticed her brother’s sigh and she touched his hand with a worried look on his face. She didn’t like seeing him so worried.
“Han-Oppa. Are you okay? Do you need to rest before you go to the upper floors again?”
Han turned to Rina and he just grinned at her when he heard what she said. He could see just how sad she was about him going, but she wasn’t stopping him at all even though she wanted to. He was glad that he had such an understanding sister. Han dragged Rina closer and she yelped as he put her on his lap and buried his face in her breasts. Rina’s face took on a red blush, but she didn’t stop her brother from hugging her. She just wrapped her hands around his head and held him tighter.
“Thank you for everything, Rina. I don’t know what I would have become if you didn’t believe in me all those years ago. I really love you,”
Rina’s blush deepened when she heard the seriousness in Han’s voice! It sounded like a declaration of love from a husband to his wife and it gave Rina this giddy feeling in her heart when she realized how much she helped her brother all those years ago. She grinned and hugged him tighter while whispering a quiet ‘You’re welcome, Oppa.’
Rina would do it all over again if she had to. No matter how much time passes or how many people her brother kills to make her life a better one, she would always love him. Even if Rina had to go back in time right now, she wouldn’t change a single thing because she has everything she ever wanted right now.
A hand wrapped around Han’s waist from behind and Han immediately knew it was Dyana when he heard her hum into his ear before resting her head on his back.
“Don’t just leave us out like that. That’s mean,”
Dyana said this with a small pout as she hugged Han tighter and Han’s smile grew when he noticed more and more people coming around. Did Dyana get jealous? How cute.
All of Han’s family came around him at that moment and joined the hug and Han allowed himself to relax for the first time in a very long time. They just stayed silent throughout the hug and they didn’t say anything.
But for Han, it was the best moment of his life.
…….
Han left the lower floors that day and made his way toward the hundredth floor with Gretha and Orochimaru. Orochimaru finally agreed to regurgitate Gretha after Han promised the snake that he would give him someone else to eat later. Han decided that he would find one of the Celestials and allow Orochimaru to eat them instead. Han was already going to the hundredth floor so it wouldn’t be that hard to find someone… right?
Han and Gretha took the portal alone and they opened their eyes on floor one hundred. Han wore a simple black shirt and trousers and had a long black cloak over his body. Gretha, meanwhile, was still in the clothes that Rina gave her. The simple shirt and jeans. Han couldn’t deny that the clothes made her look extremely beautiful. Her breasts and ass were almost larger than Rina’s and it stretched the clothes in all the right places, but the fact that she was an idiot ruined the entire image.
Gretha noticed Han looking at her and she stuck her tongue out at him like a child. Han felt his eye twitch in annoyance, and he turned back to the hundredth floor. I’ll just ignore her.
Gretha also turned back to look around. The floor was very quiet and there wasn’t a single sound to be heard from anywhere. After a while of just staying quiet, she spoke up nervously.
“That’s a lot of empty space,”
Gretha’s voice reached Han from the side and Han hummed. He couldn’t help but agree with her and he could understand why this sight would make anyone nervous. There were no trees, no people, no animals, and It felt like this was a massive battlefield and they were right in the middle of it. Han spoke up calmly.
“Are you scared?”
Gretha squeezed her hands into fists and released them again.
“I think terrified would be a better word. I’m terrified, Han,”
Han smiled when he heard this and he couldn’t help but tease Gretha.
“Good. At least you won’t do anything stupid then,”
Gretha glared at Han for his comment and Han just smiled wider. He noticed some of the tension leave Gretha’s shoulder and he was glad. It would be bad if they entered a fight and she died because she was too nervous.
DOOOOON!!!
Han and Gretha both looked up in shock a loud sound echoed through the entire area! The ground under them started to vibrate and Gretha took a step closer to Han!
Han looked around the area curiously to try and see what was coming. The entire place was empty so Han had to activate his special eyes to see better!
[Almighty Overseer] has been activated!
“Roarrrrrr!!!”
“Rarggggghhhhhhh!!!”
“Riarrrr!!”
But before Han could even use his eyes, he saw them! There were thousands of them! The sounds of monsters crying into the air echoed across the entire floor, and from what Han could feel, he knew that those monsters were at least Unique rank!! Each of those monsters was in the same rank as Han, and from what Han could feel, there were thousands of them! So many that Han couldn’t even detect them properly!
Han’s detection skill works by pinpointing the location of a target and then reading their power level, but with how many monsters were packed together in one place, Han couldn’t tell just how strong each one of them was!
A hand touched Han’s jacket and Han turned around to see Gretha looking at the horizon with wide eyes. She had unconsciously come closer to Han without even thinking about it. The hand she was using to hold Han’s jacket was trembling and when Han turned back to her, she pointed her finger upwards. Han immediately turned to look up and what he saw there actually made his eyes widen! There were monsters everywhere! Thousands of flying monsters were screeching and crowing as they charged straight down for Han! How the hell didn’t I notice these before!?
Han was so lost in trying to gauge the powers of the monsters on the ground that he completely missed the monsters in the air! Han suddenly felt a tremble from under his feet and he cursed! Why the hell are they all coming at once!? Han could see an uncountable number of monsters that were also heading straight toward them on land!
Han wasn’t scared of the monsters and Han knew that none of the monsters was a match for him, but the only problem was the sheer number of them! It was like a pitch-black sea of monsters! Monsters for as far as the eye could see!
Even though Han had already activated his special eye, he still couldn’t see an end to them!
Han felt Gretha tighten her hold on his jacket even more! She was now visibly trembling and Han could tell that she wanted to get out of there! But Han wasn’t going to let her leave that easily. They were already here, so they had to get through this.
“H-Han… Let’s go. We can come back with an army! T-This is too much! I told you we shouldn’t have come here alone! They’re too much!”

An army? Han wanted to laugh when he heard what Gretha said. Why the hell would he need an army when he had his shadow hunters?
Han put a hand out and he called on every one of his shadows. The area in front of Han was immediately covered in a large sea of pure black that stretched out for miles! Shadow hunter after shadow hunter appeared from the ground and Han immediately sent them off to go after the monsters on the ground! Once they charged forward, Han put his hand up and activated [Supernova]!! There was a moment when everything in the world went silent and a black ball of discolored power appeared on Han’s hand, then the ball exploded!
Ka-Boooooooommmm!!!!
The explosion was large enough to rock the entire hundredth floor and Han could see thousands of monsters fall from the sky dead, but Han still knew that would not be enough! Han immediately pushed Gretha aside before a monster slammed into the spot where she was just standing at! The monster destroyed the ground and roared in anger while turning to look at Gretha! Gretha screamed and scrambled to her feet before the monster could get her! Han immediately called his sword from his shadow and stabbed down at the monster! The monster immediately started to turn black before it decayed and died. Han turned to Gretha and shouted.
“You better start fighting if you don’t want to die! You’re a fucking Celestial, so stop acting weak! Just trust him! He’ll look after you!”
Once Han said this, he jumped off the ground and disappeared into the sea of black monsters! Gretha’s face scrunched up in confusion when she heard what Han said! Trust who? Who the hell was Han talking about!?
But before she could even finish her thought, a portal opened beside her and a giant snake slithered out from inside Han’s shadow world with a hiss. Gretha paled and then scooted back a little when she saw Orochimaru looking around the floor with red eyes. It turned to look at her and she chuckled and looked away from its eyes. She didn’t want to antagonize it again! It ate her the last time she did something wrong and she has no intention of being eaten again!
But Orochimaru just looked away from her and opened its mouth to hiss angrily at all of the monsters around it! There was nothing for Gretha to be scared off because Han already told Orochimaru not to eat her. Orochimaru just shot off from his position and snapped his jaw shut on a large number of monsters! A monster from beside him tried to bite him, but a large crack appeared on the monster’s teeth once it made contact with Orochimaru’s hard scales. It couldn’t even bite into Orochimaru’s skin!
Orochimaru swung its tail to the side and slammed all the monsters around it away like they were nothing! But even as he got rid of those ones, a lot of other monsters appeared and took their place! They started to climb him and they tried their best to pin him to the ground!
Orochimaru was an EPIC rank beast and it was far stronger than all these Unique class beasts, but that doesn’t mean that their number was a small challenge! Their numbers were uncountable and Orochimaru couldn’t handle fighting these many monsters without help! But luckily for him, he wasn’t alone!
A massive wave of air spread out across the area and threw the monsters on Orochimaru to the side to release him! Gretha appeared in front of Orochimaru with her new form. She had large wings protruding out from her back and her legs were now eagle feet with claws. She landed on Orochimaru’s neck and even though she was still nervous, she had a strong resolve in her eyes! She couldn’t allow this fight to end because of her cowardice! She would fight as well and if she dies then she would die properly! She shouted to Orochimaru while holding on tight to his scales!
“Let’s go! I’ll watch your back so you can do whatever you want!!”
For a second after she shouted this, there was no movement from Orochimaru, and Gretha thought that Orochimaru would ignore her or push her down.
But she was jolted and had to hold on tight when Orochimaru suddenly started moving again and he slammed his tail into a large group of monsters! Gretha grinned with a hint of fear when she saw the massive wave of monsters they were charging towards. She couldn’t help but think that she was going to die here.
