Tonk walked down the stairs to the dim cabin, where there was a musty smell in addition to the sea smell. Oil lamps hung from the top of the cabin, emitting a greasy light, and moths lay lazily on the lampshades. He went around the cargo hold and the galley and found a bottle of wine, a few pieces of cured meat, and a large loaf of bread.

The bomb-spitting frog in the cell was even more haggard, as thin as a deflated balloon with a dry tongue drooping around his mouth. As soon as the big protruding eyes saw Tonk, he immediately greeted him and grabbed the railing with webbed claws.

"Dear Captain, please forgive my previous offense!"

Tonk stared at the big toad for a while, and then he said, "Have you figured it out?"

"Yes, I'm willing to answer all your questions, and I'm willing to serve you in exchange for a chance for my life." It could see that Tonk didn't have time to listen to its apology, but cared about more important issues. It smacked its lips, stared straight at the food in Tonk's hand, and begged, "Could you give me that food?"

Tonk agreed and stuffed the dinner plate through the gap under the railing. The ground was full of mud and dirt.

The bomb-spitting frog didn't care anymore, and rushed towards the food, grabbed the bread and devoured it, pulled out the cork of the wine, and gulped several mouthfuls.

Tonk watched from the side and he had nothing to do, so it threw an investigation technique at the big toad.
