Heavy rain was brewing in the cloudy sky, and the air was moist with a heavy sense of depression. Six ships cut through the waves and blasted forward on the turbulent sea.

The leading ship was like a giant black whale, swallowing the surging seawater. The waves splashing at the stern were several yards high. On the side, there was a large blood-red ship, which was decorated with red skeletons. The ship looked like it sailed out of purgatory.

A giant bomb-spitting frog sat on the bow of the Black Whale. It sat lazily, grabbed a wine barrel with one palm, opened its mouth, and drank it dry in a few sips. It clapped its stomach and said it was not enough, and the sailors hurried in pairs to bring new barrels.

It just drank in buckets like this. Only a while, it drank more than a dozen sailors could drink.

"A reef was found at 35 degrees to starboard," the lookout reported dutifully.

The giant frog laughed twice, raised his eyelids and glanced at the reef, took a sharp breath, and immediately bulged his cheeks. It spat hard, and an air bomb flew out, hitting the reef impartially and smashing it into pieces.

It laughed happily, and the cross-shaped scar on its forehead became even more hideous.

The hull of the Black Whale suddenly tilted because the bomb-spitting frog fired an air bomb just now. The head of the regiment, Harold, shook his hand, and more than half of the wine in the wine glass spilled out. He was furious and said coldly: "Cross Scar, I warned you. It is forbidden to fire without my order!"

Harold smashed the wine glass, took out the pistol at his waist, and shot the frog in the back, making a blood hole.

Cross Scar didn't care, it laughed a few times, scratched the wound where the fat was flowing out and started drinking again.

The Black Whale recovered, and Harold's anger subsided slightly. He turned his head, and someone had placed a new wine glass on the table.

The man at the opposite table smiled. He had a sharp chin and eagle-like eyes. He would always carry two long-barreled muskets behind him.

"Today is the day of Cam's execution. Let's toast for his death." Roberts Hawkeye raised his glass and said happily.

Harold also picked up the wine glass, and the two wine glasses touched each other lightly, indicating victory. His wet sleeves left a few drops of water on the tablecloth. His tightly wrapped body was always wet, but no one dared to ask why for a long time, especially on this ship.

"You had hard work on the Purgatory this year," Harold said. His bloated body pressed against the chair, making a creaking sound.

"It's not too hard. That Cam is easy to deal with. He's an out-and-out idiot. He owned a ship as powerful as Purgatory but rested on his laurels. After so many years, he still hasn't grown stronger."

Roberts Hawkeye was actually a spy from the Black Toad Pirates. He originally joined the Purgatory Pirates with a plan. His purpose was to get the Purgatory. He didn't betray Cam, he wanted to get rid of Cam from the beginning.

All the brotherhoods that Hawkeye showed in the Purgatory Pirates were false.

"Purgatory is really a waste in his hands, but it's different in my hands. I will let this ship exert its maximum combat effectiveness."

Harold turned his head to the side and looked at Purgatory. His eyes seemed to be looking at a beautiful woman with no clothes on.

"I wish the Black Toad Pirates will prosper and become the overlord of this sea area as soon as possible." Roberts raised his glass.

"Well said. In order to celebrate the acquisition of Purgatory, and to test the power of Purgatory, I decided to wash all the ships with blood that passed by within three months." Harold said in a deep and distant voice, "I want the Purgatory to be smeared with real blood, so it can be called the real Purgatory."

Roberts Hawkeye had followed Harold for many years. He was well aware of the cruelty of the commander, but he did not show any consternation.

Suddenly, Harold suddenly grabbed his chest and bent down, looking extremely painful. His beard was trembling with convulsions, and it all happened very quickly.

When the sailors next to him saw it, not only did they not come forward, but they all backed away with a clatter, hiding far away, looking at the regimental commander in horror.

Harold roared in pain and slapped the dining table with a slap. He staggered a few steps and grabbed another piece of wood from the mast. His clothes swelled irregularly with two soft tentacles sticking out from his sleeves, and the sea water was constantly dripping from his trouser legs. Didn't know where the seawater came from.

"The regiment commander has a seizure again, captain, come quickly!" The crew member who reacted the fastest shouted, and the others also echoed, as if the captain was a savior.

Harold opened his mouth and spit out a mouthful of water, revealing a mouth that was almost a marine creature's. With gill-like lines on his cheeks, there was a viscous liquid inside. Seeing the change in himself, he cried out even more painfully. His eyes bulged. He grabbed the nearest sailor beside him and threw it into the rough sea.

"Just St. Cuthbert, please put out your holy wrath. I am willing to sacrifice myself to ease his pain." A woman came behind Harold, wearing a black-gloved hand gently stroking his back.

Soon, Harold's pain disappeared like a low tide. The tentacles shrank back, and the gills disappeared. He opened his mouth to pant, and it turned back into a human. Everything was back to normal as if it had never happened.

The woman in black withdrew her hand.

"Thank you, Casey." Harold had only said thank you to this woman in his life. He grabbed Casey's hand and kissed it.

This woman wore a solid black robe like a bat that can't see the light. Her face was buried in the shadow of the hood. However, it could still be seen that she was a woman who loves beauty. Because her black robe was embroidered with beautiful red patterns. Perhaps the patterns on this dress were the only place on her body that can show her beauty.

"You seem to be in more pain than ever this time." She said sadly. Her eyes were full of love.

"It's okay. Don't worry about it." Harold stroked her with his broad palm.

The two spoke some love words between lovers. Afterward, Casey left, returning to the darkened cabin.

Seeing Harold's tragic appearance, Roberts smiled inadvertently. Harold didn't have much time left. He would be completely reduced to a sea monster sooner or later. By then, the entire Black Toad Pirates would be his.

A message eagle appeared in the direction of the stern. It quickly grew from a black spot. It flapped its wings and landed on Harold's shoulder.

Harold took off the scroll on the Newshawk's feet, which had the mark of the Black Toad Pirates on it. He unfolded it and found that it was what he sent out, but it was not delivered to the third captain Kedar. This proved that Kedar might have disappeared from the sea. The Swift Eagles rarely fail to deliver letters, they were the best postmen at sea.

Moreover, Kedar's Shock had not sent eagle messages to this site for many days, which was something that had never happened before.

Harold tore the messages to shreds and said viciously: "Full sail, full left rudder, and turn the bow. Let's go to the route that the Shock passed. I want to know who dares to move the ship of the Black Toad Pirates."

The sailors did not dare to neglect, and immediately began to change course, and used semaphores to signal to other ships.

The six ships were like a ferocious group of hunters, turning around one after another, leaving crooked waves on the sea.

The pirate group sailed for several days and saw sporadic pieces of wood on the sea. The lookout spotted an island and saw a man on the island raising his arms for help.

The fleet did not dock but put down the single-leaf raft. A few people went and got this man on board the Black Whale. Unexpectedly, the victim was actually a sailor on the Shock. That day, the Shock was hijacked by Tonk and others. He jumped into the sea, hugged a piece of driftwood, and floated to this Island.

The thin sailor waited tremblingly for the captain's question.

"What happened to the Shock? Where's Kedar?" Harold asked while holding the sailor's shoulders.

"I, I..." The sailor stammered for a long time, unable to say why.

"Damn, talk to me well!" Harold clenched his hands tightly. The sailor felt that his bones were about to shatter.

"Whoops... I say, our ship was robbed, and the third captain Kedar was killed!" The sailor said quickly in severe pain.

Harold had anticipated this situation before. He asked, "Who did it?"

"It's an Oriental named Tonk. I've never heard of him before. He seems to be a newcomer."

"Tonk? Oriental? I'll make him regret it. I'm going to cut him into tens of thousands of pieces and feed it to sharks."

Harold increased his strength and the hapless sailor to scream. The sailor soon died. His head drooped, and his seven orifices bleed.

"Pass on my words. Release the eagle news and tell everyone. The Black Toad Pirates want to fully arrest Tonk! In addition, let the Flying Fish return home and investigate all the news about Tonk, then reports it to me."

Harold roared gloomily, and the pirates immediately executed their orders in fear.

The war between the Evil Dragon Pirates and the Black Toad Pirates had officially started.
