How?
After flying for a little while I see that the tree line raises a little so I go have a look. It seems like a small cliff, just taller than the trees themselves. I figure why not. I set my camp at the top of the cliff just in some trees. I take out all my stuff and spend the night setting up everything while double checking with the book.
Eventually I finished setting everything up. I take a quick look around. Larger tent, check. Barrier Stones, check. Shower, check. Campfire, check. Hmmmm. This will do for now as everything else can be taken out of the Bracelets when needed.
I take a seat and think for a while. Old Man told me to come out here so I can figure out my powers, which is easy enough as it will just take time. I'm not going to be getting anything new for a while since I'm at -18 Points right now. The problem is that he wanted me to think about the path I wanna take. How do you decide something like that? I don't know enough about the world to decide how I want to spend it. Not to mention I think this world will be dangerous for me.
Another problem is that I can't trust anyone. I need to remember not to believe anyone who says something to me. I think Analyze is fine since the system gave it to me but I also need to find a way to level it up. It says Level 1 but it isn’t in the Point List. I take a quick look but can’t see it anywhere. The only idea I have is that it might be locked behind Point List 2 - 5000 Points. Even if I add together all the Points I have spent it doesn't even get close.
I give up on thinking for a while and decide to read. I start with a few books detailing Adventurers. Once I finished those my mood rose again. That’s so cool!! I remember all the epic scenes and fights. I stand up and start copying the moves. I copy all the explained movements and stuff with my sword. I try to do a flip like they did but I end up landing on my back. My face gets hot when I sense someone on the edge of my Detection. I quickly brush myself off and prepare to see him.
“Hi there miss. Just confirming where you're staying for the Elder.”
“Y-yes that’s fine.”
“Are you alright?”
“I’m fine. I forgot to ask earlier but what monsters are around this area?”
“Ah yes. Actually the Elder told me to tell you that most of the monsters around here are peaceful and we prefer you not hunt them unless provoked. If they do attack you please let us know.”
“Sure.”
“He did, however, say that you should find the need.” He points East at a giant mountain in the distance with white on the top. “That place should serve as a good hunting ground for you.” I nod. “Also he didn’t say this but we could really use some Ice Stones that come from that mountain. We can get them ourselves but it just takes too long.” He peeks at my wings. I see, I can go further, faster.
“Sure. If I find any I’ll bring them over. It's the least I can do since you are allowing me to stay on your land.”
“Speaking of which, remember how everyone was a bit jumpy when you showed up?” I nod in response. “Well the thing is, Humans have been getting a bit cocky lately and they have been sending slavers into the forest to try and find some us Elves. If you see any Humans, can you please report them to us.”
“Bad guys?” He nods seriously. “Can I kill them?”
“We’d prefer you let us handle it. Not to be rude but we are next to invisible in the forest. We’d like to observe the situation first since they might not be slavers. If the slavers ever get out of hand we can just send an official protest to the Kingdom.” Hmmm. I do kind of consider it rude since he just insulted my Stealth. Everyone knows I'm better at Stealth.
I pick up a rock off the ground and show it to him. He tilts his head. I throw it up in the air and the second he breaks line of sight with me I activate Stealth and move away.

“So? What was… Huh.” He spins around and looks around the campsite. Since he insulted me, even though he didn't know, I’m flexing all I have learnt right now. I sneak up behind him as he is peeking into the forest trying to look for me. I tap him on the shoulder. He jumps and bounces backwards, pulling out a dagger.
“Although you didn't know. I am a Winged Scout. Nobody can find me. Anywhere. Not if I don’t want them too. Well. I haven't been found yet at least.” I smile at him. “Sorry by the way.”
“Hahaa. It’s ok. If someone showed up and said the same to me I’d take it as a challenge as well. Anyway, good luck out here. I hope you find what you are looking for. See you in town.”
“Wait! I have one last question.” He looks back. “What are slavers?” He buckles to his knees. “You ok?”
“Yea… I'm fine. Slavers are people who kidnap other people to make them slaves. Most of them are illegal in most countries.” Oh... Them... I pull out a slave collar from my Bracelet. “Like this?” He shakes a little but answers.
“Y-yes. Like that. Where did you get that?” He still seems shaky but I answer.
“It seems the lord where I came from was a slaver. I killed two of his men and took these from him. Didn't know what to do with them so I kept them.”
“I-I see. I'm sorry about that. When you see the Elder next, tell him you have some. He’ll happily destroy them for you. I-I’m going now.”
“Yeah, thanks.” I wave him off and settle down.
I wonder why I couldn't do that flip earlier, pretty much anything to do with physical stuff relates to Status but since both my Dexterity and Agility should be high enough to help with such a maneuver I don't know what the problem is. I take another look at the Points List and after Analyzing things for a while something catches my attention. Oh! Scout explains this in his book!
I spent a long time relying on just my Stealth Skill and even when I started training other Skills such as Presence Detection and Dagger Combat I was still facing severe limits when I needed to do more than just kill my targets, especially escaping. It wasn't until I spotted a thief escaping from the guards that I saw what was needed. I paid him off and learnt that he grew up next door to some traveling performers. Performers of all things took my missions to new heights. I think whatever Job you decide to take Acrobatics will be a definite must. I even took it to the next level over the years.
It seems the Acrobatics Skill only costs one Point so it's in line with other Skills I need to buy and level up.
A few books, mostly old ones, and the Scout’s book tend to mention taking Skills to the ‘The Next Level’ they never really explain further than that and some even go out their way to avoid explaining it. I could understand the books I bought trying to hide secrets about powerful skills and such but it seems odd that the Scout also tries to worm his way around it. After thinking about all the things and going over Scout's book again, my head starts to hurt and it is getting dark so I figure I should go to bed.
My alarm goes off so I wake up. Once I leave my tent, I look in the direction of the village and see a Quest arrow in the distance above the big tree in the village. Intrigued, I opened it.
