“What could they be after?”
“Not sure. My biggest theory will have to be that they are looking for ancient manuscripts, for them to weaponize it. More specifically, everything they want to know about Mother.”
“Why would they want that?”
“Mustang, we need to be cautious. I’m afraid they are planning on a complete invasion. An assassination attempt.”
“If that’s the case, we should do the same thing with them, but earlier!” Mustang replied, as he clenched his fist.
“We can’t… Aether is growing stronger by the day. It is best to keep our prominent defense, and whenever the time is right, we attack back.”
“That damn Aether. He’s lucky enough to be the only son and inherent of the treasures he discovered… I don’t understand how he managed to modify robots, as well. We’ve been experimenting for years, but nothing…”
“Don’t worry too much. Remember our plan with sending out our new picks of the Special Forces to Kritis to act as spies.” Excis replied
“That would be too dangerous though… Even for the Special Forces…”
“I know, but, I believe that it will be possible… I’m not the one who makes the decisions. It is what it is.”
“Right. I will head back now. Thank you for the talk, I will see you next week.” Mustang replied

Haywin was walking towards her dorm from outside the building. She did not need any fixing, she felt just fine, but still angered by the mission she failed. On her way to her dorm, which was located behind the Headquarters, a long path that connected to the main dormage for the soldiers serving Excis. Large technical buildings, with many windows adapted to it.
As she walked, she began to lose herself in her thoughts. Not paying enough attention to her surroundings. Suddenly, she heard a rustling noise coming from a bush that stood next to her. She turned, hand going to her gun, to defend herself if necessary.
But what emerged from the bush was no enemy, it was a white cat with brown eyes. It eyes widened up as it looked up to Haywin.
She crouched down to get a closer look and gave the cat a pet, it furred and nuzzled its head against her palm. Haywin felt relaxed. She always had a strong love for animals, more specifically cats, and dogs. She stood up, with the cat in her arms, and continued her way to the dorm.
“Oh, you’ve found my cat!”
She turned around, and saw a fellow soldier, his name was Elez. He was noticeably shorter than most soldiers, and seemed childish. Also wearing the same type of bodysuit Haywin was wearing, but his sleeves were cut short, and he wore fingerless gloves. His hair was short and blonde, and he had brown colored eyes.
“Oh, my excuses, I was just…”

“Yes, my name is Haywin… What about yours?”

“Would you look at that, it’s the little maggot!”
“Hahaha! I could send him flying with just a kick!”
“Hey, what are you sayi-“
“Just ignore it, Haywin.” Elez replied as he turned his head around.

“I’m just gonna get something to drink.”
