Chapter 10: Small Update – Glossary Is Live

Hey hey, author here.

I just wanted to inform you that I have now uploaded a glossary.

It will be home to all relevant information about the main character's Pokemon, like their Ability, moves, gender, height, weight, nature and so on. I also included a 'Status' which is referring to whether Joe has caught the Pokemon or not. This is for the Pokemon like Pancham from chapter 8 that have their own stories but don't belong to Joe. Besides the basics, I've included brief paragraph summaries of each Pokemon's story just in case anyone wants a refresher of certain story arcs in the future. For keen eyed readers, there is a bit of information in the PokeDex (specifically for Ralts) that isn't in the main story right now. Consider it a little foreshadowing for the future.

The PokeDex glossary has everything I could think of, but if you think something else should be added, feel free to tell me. I'm all ears.

And I do want people's opinion on one specific thing. For anyone that is a super lore nerd like myself, you may have noticed small changes here and there. For example, I gave Weedle the Poison Point Ability, and of course Absol has a different Ability too. I will continue to make alterations to Pokemon moving forward, including creating new moves and abilities. I've created an Ability called Fear Factor, which allows a Pokemon to instinctively detect powerful moves (90+ power moves like Thunder) so they have a higher chance of avoiding strong moves.

Now here's the question. Do I have a page in the glossary that lists all my original content and what it does, or do I put the descriptions in the PokeDex entry of the Pokemon that have original content? So purely hypothetical, if Ralts had Fear Factor, would you want Fear Factor's description in Ralts' PokeDex entry, or would you want it with the rest of my original content in a glossary entry of its own? It's just a little something I'm struggling to decide on.
