Chapter 1: Prologue

What is the aura?

The answer is simple but there are many exceptions to that answer. Is it the inner self of a person? Is it the soul of a person? or Is it the ki of a person? 

There are many things known and unknown about aura but there is one fact about the aura that everyone can agree on. It is a double edge sword and just like the different edges, there are also different sides of the aura the light side and the dark side.

Many people and pokemon also cultivate aura and either follow the dark side or the light side but one can only reach the pinnacle of it if they remain faithful to the side which they follow but there is also an exception.

Autumn a 27-year-old Dean of an Academy which specialises in aura and pokemon battling is the World's strongest man and also the King of the World. He is the man who has the highest strength, knowledge, wealth and freedom in the world to do anything. He is the one who is also hailed as the Master of Aura because he had reached the pinnacle of aura but just as the saying goes, "Tall trees are the first to get knocked down by the winds" He is in a really bad shape right now.

Autumn spat out blood or rather poison. Yes, he has currently poisoned the substance which came out of his mouth was black and easily melted to the ground. He was wearing a hood covering his appearance but it didn't hide his well-toned body and the aura surrounding him. 

Autumn: "It seems like this is the end."

"Do you regret it?"

A voice asked Autumn. He looked over to see a man wearing a Cape which looked similar to what he was wearing.

Autumn: "Lynx old friend"

Autumn smiled a little when he saw his friend but his friend seems to be not in a good mood right now his face was gloomy and his eyes were filled with sorrow.

Autumn: "Don't lament over my death Lynx. I already knew that this day would come the day I drank the 'Nefarious overworld poison' and to be honest I don't regret making that sacrifice."

Lynx stood there quietly but he was not in a good condition. His best friend who was in front of him was about to die and he couldn't do anything about it.

Autumn: "Lynx can I leave it to you?"

Lynx looked at Autumn in the eyes and after a brief moment, he nodded.

Lynx: "Yes"

Autumn smiled with a grateful look on his face before he handed a ceremonial staff to Lynx. This staff was the symbol of the Academy. It was the Dean's Staff, the staff was made out of a branch from the world tree and there was a keystone embedded in it but the strange thing was this keystone gave a luminescence light. 

In truth this staff has consciousness and when Lynx received the staff his body glowed slightly with a WHOSS sound coming from the staff meaning it recognised its new owner. Autumn seeing this nodded before his body also started glowing. Lynx who saw this widened his eyes before gritting his teeth and clenching the staff in his hand tighter. 

Autumn: "I Autumn the first Dean of Helix academy declare Lynx as the next Dean."

'And today will also be the day that I will be bidding goodbye to this world'

Autumn took out all of his Pokeball before fiddling with them a little and released all of the pokemon he had captured in his short lifetime. The pokemons were crying to which Autumn just smiled softly before a small figure came in front of Autumn. This figure was an Eeve his first pokemon and his partner together they have achieved many things but now it was time to say goodbye. Autumn looked at Eeve and then his other pokemon before saying.

Autumn: "You are all free to decide what you want to do now although I have been your trainer for a small time I hope you guys enjoyed your time while being by my side now it's time for us to bid farewell and I hope you all will find happiness."

The pokemon didn't say anything but tears were coming down their eyes. Autumn's body shook and his body began to glow this scared the pokemons because he will now die. Autumn's body becomes fader and transparent before bursting into dust particles and scattering around the air along with an Etherial figure of a huge whale this was Autumn's inner spirit. In his life, he was carefree and nonchalant and moved like there was nothing that can bound him. He was like a whale who travelled to every place without any obstacle in the vast world.

Lynx: "Goodbye old friend I hope you will finally get some rest you deserve."

"Eevee"

Autumn's consciousness slowly drifted to the afterlife but before his consciousness could enter the afterlife it was guided towards the centre of the Universe. When it reached the centre Autumn's consciousness took the form of Autumn and now his appearance can finally be seen.

 He had long jet black hair with a hint of silver colour on the tip of it which reached just below his shoulders and looked like the night sky he had emerald-coloured eyes and his skin was pale white and there was an earring on him his left ear as well. Overall he looked quite good and his face looked like that of someone who had gone through many vicissitudes in life. His body had a fine muscular build which made him look like he is someone who did light body exercise but his body was far greater than what it looked like as of now he was naked standing in an empty void in space before he opened his eyes.

Autumn first calmly observed his surroundings before thinking to himself.

'Am I perhaps in purgatory'

Autumn thought before dismissing that thought. He knows what purgatory is but he doesn't feel like this is purgatory. How?

Because he was powerful during his lifetime and not only his body but his soul force was also powerful and he could confirm that the place which he currently is in is not purgatory.

"So we met again." An authoritative voice called out. Autumn widened his eyes because he knew this voice.

Autumn: "Arceus"

Yes, it was the omnipotent being of the Pokemon Universe. The mythical god pokemon Arceus. He was in front of Autumn looking at him with a calculating gaze.

Autumn bowed his head a little to show his respect to which Arceus nodded. During Autumn's lifetime, he had indeed met with Arceus once and had left a good impression on him.

Arceus: "Huma- No Autumn, it is good to see you. Though it quite a tragedy that we couldn't meet under a more favourable condition."

Autumn: "Same here it's good to see you."

Arceus: "Well no point over lamenting over something that has already happened."

Autumn: "Indeed"

Autumn looked into Arceus's eyes which can be considered rude but Arceus didn't seem to mind and waited for Autumn to say what he wants to ask.

Autumn: " So mind telling me why you brought me here I know that you are not the type who will do things that have no meaning to them."

Arceus: "Always on point as usual Autumn You see I am here to give you another chance."

Autumn: "Another chance"

Arceus: "Indeed. You see I have taken notice of you when you first decided to consume the 'Nefarious overworld poison which is the most toxic substance in this whole universe and because of that you saved many inhabitants of your world which made you earn a lot of karma points and as of now it far exceeds any record of karma points earned by someone so I came here to give you another chance in life or simply put I am here to give you a chance to reincarnate in another world of pokemon."

Autumn was a little shocked but didn't show it on his face and took the situation calmly because he had been through a lot in life and something such as the concept of reincarnation was not enough to shock him greatly.

Autumn: "A new life will I be able to live it the way I want."

Arceus: "Yes and I also have some gifts for you if you decide to live a new life."

Autumn: "Gifts?"

Arceus: " Yes child I can grant you any three wishes and will give you some gifts as well if you are willing to reincarnate."

Autumn: "I have some questions"

Arceus: "Very well speak but keep it short I can only talk with you for a small time in this space."

Autumn: "You said that you will reincarnate me to another world. Is there a problem with me being reincarnated to my previous world?"

Arceus: "You see if I reincarnate you in your previous world then there is a 90% chance that you may become a paradox in your world which may attract some of those individuals whom I have banished in the distortion world."

Autumn nodded before asking again.

Autumn: "Can you give me a brief info on this new world that I am going to get reincarnated into?"

Arceus: "Yes this new world is another world which exists within the pokemon universe and this world in contrast to your previous world is much bigger in size and the people there are also pretty strong and can handle getting hit by pokemon attacks unlike yours where people could only tank few hits from pokemon."

Autumn now understood this world a little better. Simply put this new world is quite dangerous because people there have a naturally strong physique and he is pretty sure that this world has many unknown dangers and mysteries because it is very big.

Autumn: "Okay but will there be any problem that may affect you while doing this?"

Arceus: "Who do you take me for the child I am the god of this universe and within this universe I am omnipotent and no one can do anything to this universe under my watch."

Autumn nodded his head satisfied with the answers.

Autumn: "Okay I agree to reincarnate. Can I now ask for my three wishes?"

Arceus: "Go ahead"

Autumn: "My first wish is to retain the memories of my previous life, Second is to be a part of an influential family and third is to have a highly adaptable body and also I would prefer if I could retain the same appearance I have in my previous life."

Arceus: "Hmm these things could be done but are you sure you could have asked for something such as a cheat or a powerful item."

Autumn: "Although you are right that I could have asked for something better I don't want to be over-reliant over something that is a system because someday if I lose that system I may be cornered by my enemies."

Arceus: "By the tone of your voice I can say that you are not going to live a secluded and easy-going life but that makes it much more interesting. I will grant your wish and also will be keeping an eye on you."

Autumn just looked at Arceus with a questioning gaze but shrugged it off because he knew that Arceus wouldn't do something bad to him.

Arceus: "Before you go I will tell you about your gifts, First is a poke egg which will give you a strong pokemon with max IV, and second is the mind's eye which can enable you to see the stats and information about other people and pokemon, third is an ability called Presence manipulation. This ability allows you to manipulate your presence to your surroundings."

Autumn was naturally joyed these were some very good gifts.

Autumn: "Did you prepare these gifts due to the karma points I have?"

Arceus: "Yes although these gifts are good only an expert can use these gifts properly."

Autumn nodded before he felt like something was pulling him towards it. He looked at Arceus who nodded signifying that his time has come.

Autumn consciousness was soon guided to another part of space.

Arceus: "Let's see whether you can manage to reach that stage in this next life Autumn."
