"Are you sure about this?" Jenny asked him worriedly.

"Yes, I am sure." He nodded. "I want you to stay with Leaf and Anira. And Misty and I will take care of the Squirtle's Squad."

"Shouldn't I come with you?" Leaf frowned and said.

"No," He shook his head. "I and Misty know what we are dealing with. And it should be enough with the two of us." He stated. "Your Job is to keep the Exeggutor colony away from the vicinity. There could be more wild Pokemon that the Pidgeotto might call for help. So, you have to be there with Anira and Jenny."

"But..."

"I have Dexter with me. If Brother needs help, he will send Dexter a signal, and we can all teleport to him." Anira assured both Jenny and Leaf.

She had the Pokeball of the said Pokemon in her hand. Aizen had asked his Grandma to send Dexter over. He had done that as a precautionary measure, and more so that Anira wouldn't have to overexert herself.

Jenny and Leaf finally relented to the plan. And the their Squad of three moved towards the Exeggutor Colony.

All of them had patiently watched the Squirtle's Squad do their nightly vandalism in the Hazelwood Town. They chose not to confront the Pokemon within the Town, and they wanted to wait for daybreak before executing the plan they came up with.

"It's time." Aizen smiled at Misty as soon as Zubat came flying towards them. "Good Job!" He scratched its little head before calling it back in the Pokeball.

Zubat had been out all night. Its job was to track the Pidgeotto, who had not shown up in Town. Once it located Pidgeotto, its job was to start harrasing the bird Pokemon, playing around with it, and tiring it out.

"You sure have a lot of faith in your Pokemon." Misty lightly smiled. "It could have turned out really bad for Zubat."

"Not really." He shook his head. "Pidgeotto are not night hunters. Zubat, on the other hand, is most energetic at night. The woods around here are thick. It provided enough protection for Zubat to play hide and tag with the bird and come out unscathed."

They both silently arrived near the pond that was the home to the Squirtle's Squad. They could hear Squirtle talking with a Machop, and Politoed. Gloom seemed to be asleep, but the Growlithe immediately opened its eyes and looked around.

"Squirtle.. squirtle.."

The bipedal tortoise asked what was wrong, and growlithe growled in a warning.

"That's a sharp Growlithe." Aizen smiled and decided to stop hiding. "Stay here." He whispered to Misty before walking out of where they were hiding.

Seeing him approach from the woods, the Squirtle's Squad immediately tensed and glared at him.

"Woww" The growlithe bent its hind legs a little, ready to jump at him at the command of Squirtle.

"I want to talk to you guys." Aizen ignored their threatening stances and simply said.

"Vee vee..." The little Eevee on his shoulder tried to convince them as well.

"Squirtle.. squirtle!" The tortoise angrily pointed its hand and small finger at him, asking him to get out of there.

Aizen ignored his threat and looked at Politoed.

He could see that the only pokemon who was not threatening him was Politoed. However, there was no cheerfulness in her eyes that were staring at him.

"The people of the Town have had enough of your mischief." He looked at the Politoed and said. "They have asked for help, and you are lucky that I happened to be around. We can avoid getting hurt and simply talk, and know that I am willing to talk because Joy asked me to go easy on you all."

"Squirtle!" The tortoise warned him again to walk away.

Aizen had been using his Powers to try to make them all feel at ease, and that was the only reason why he was not attacked the moment he arrived in front of them. However, the longer they stay at an impass the more impatient his opponents would grow.

"I will not lie to you all. You are a threat that needs to be removed from this Town so that the people can have their peace."

They all growled at his words. Even the Politoed narrowed her eyes at him.

"Joy told me about you all." He smiled at them. "You have all the reasons to not trust me or any other human, but you have now left yourself no other choice than to trust me." He said in a gentle voice. "If you surrender, no one will be harmed. You will be given a choice to either stay with us, or we can send you guys to a safe place where you can not disturb humans."

"Machop..."

The bipedal humanoid pokemon looked at Squirtle, leaving the decision to the blue tortoise.

Gloom was rather timid. It worriedly hid behind Politoed after hearing Aizen's words.

"Squirtle!"

Aizen was disappointed at its choice.

"So be it." He whispered and plucked a Pokeball from his belt. "Scyther! You are up!" In a bright flash of light, the green mantis appeared before the Squad glaring at them. [Take care of Machop first.] He spoke telepathically. [Agility, Double-Team, and then target it with Wing-Attack. Wait for the signal before you start.]

After relaying the commands, he turned to Rinko and smiled at it.

"Go play with Growlithe."

"Vee!" Rinko determinedly jumped off his shoulder and used Agility to approach Growlithe.

The Squirtle was ready to interfere but was taken off-gaurd by dozens of Scyther that suddenly surrounded all of them.

And before it could make sense of what was happening, Machop's painful groan was heard.

[Air Slashes!]

Scyther heeded to the command and immediately used the move multiple times.

Machop was in no position to dodge after being taken by surprise by a Wing Attack. He could only painfully cry before fainting.

Growlithe was closest to it, but Rinko was harrasing it with his superior skill, not giving it a chance to save Machop.

[Dodge!]

Two powerful Hydropump were unleashed at Scyther for what he had done to the fighting pokemon.

"Scyther..." The mantis painfully groaned as one of the torrents managed to half-hit him on the back.

Squirtle rushed toward Scyther angrily, it shot at its target like a cannon.

[Use your wings. Now!]

Scyther managed to gather himself in time, and dodged the attack of squirtle at the last moment.

'Bang!'

Squirtle went headfirst into a tree, devastating it with its Skull Bash.

"Preeee!!!"

Everyone heard a Pidgeotto's cry from a couple of hundred meters away. And they understood that Pidgeotto was going to gather the Wild Pokemon to rescue its friends.

They had to finish things here fast.

"Misty!" Aizen called out.

"Golduck! Use confusion on Squirtle!"

She was ready and waiting for Aizen's call, and wasted no time to make the most of the opportunity presented to her.

Squirtle was still recovering from the use of Skull Bash that had gone wrong, and was immediately caught under Golduck's confusion.

"No this time, little fellow." Aizen's eyes glowed purple, and Gloom, who was about to use its Sweet Scent, was caught in an invisible cage, rendering it immobile.

"Scyther, keep Politoed occupied!"

"Scyther!"

The mantis caught the green toad, that had used Bounce to attack Aizen, in the air with its Razor Wind.

Aizen turned to look at the fainted Machop and Growlithe. Rinko had made an easy work of the fluffy dog.

"Take care of Gloom." He used his Psychic Powers to make it unconcious before handing it to his Eevee.

Rinko took off with Gloom to safety, and Aizen threw two Pokeballs in the direction of Growlithe and Machop.

His action drove Squirtle mad, the confusion wore off and it was seething with rage. And when he saw that the captures were successful, it looked at Aizen with a hateful glare.

"Squirtle Squirtle!!!" The blue Tortoise tried to get past Golduck and attack him, but was slammed into the trees with a powerful Hydropump.

"Golduck!" It warned the Squirtle to not try that again.

"Scyther! Fall back."

The green mantis disengaged from the battle and came to stand behind his Trainer.

"Welldone!" He praised the warrior and patted his head appreciatively.

He knew that Politoed was watching him, and he wanted her to see how much he appreciated his Pokemon.

"They are safe." He smiled when he saw that Politoed was looking at the two Pokeballs in his left hand.

"Squirtle!!" The blue tortoise, covered in bruises, made its way out of the woods.

Seeing the two Pokeballs in Aizen's hand. It's eyes turned red in rage once more. Rinko had already taken Gloom away from the vicinity, and Politoed was the only one who was still in good shape.

"Golduck, use Hypnosis." Misty's heart ached at seeing the state of Squirtle and decided to end it right there.

However, something unexpected happened right when Golduck used Hypnosis. Squirtle didn't fall asleep, but started glowing in a bright white light.

"Wartortle!" The now evolved Pokemon that had increased in size and became rather intimidating, stared angrily at Aizen, Misty, and their Pokemon.

"Poli!" Politoed cheerfully clapped for her friend and started dancing.

"Wartortle!" The tortoise growled.

"Poli poli.." Politoed looked Wartortle in the eyes and tried to calm him down.

"Wartortle!"

"Poli!!" The sudden outburst of Politoed startled everyone.

Wartortle was the most shocked and lowered its head. Its body was shivering uncontrollably.

"Thank you." Aizen sighed and smiled at Politoed.

The green toad had decided to trust them, and asked Wartortle not to continue with this fight.

"Wartortle!"

But it seemed like it was all for naught.

"What does he want?" Misty confusedly looked at Wartotle that was pointing its white-claw-finger at Aizen.

"He wants to battle me..." Aizen lightly smiled and stared Wartortle in the eyes. "Wartortle wants to punish me for hurting his family."

"Wartortle!" He angrily growled.

"Misty. Stand aside with Politoed."

"Are you out of your mind?!"

"Don't worry." He smiled at her. "I will be fine."
