"Be..be!!"

The cute little fairy was trying her hardest to tag the silver fox with her Vine Whip, but her opponent was too fast for her. She was constantly surrounded by silvery blurs as Eevee kept using agility to dodge her Vines.

Aizen came up with this training regime to help Flabebe learn Razor Leaf. It would not take long for the little Pokemon to find a solution to her problem. Vine Whip was a versatile move, but it was not effective against a speedy opponent. Razor Leaf would be a better option to hit its opponent.

"I am going to die..." Leaf panted as if there was no oxygen around her, and then she fell back on her ass and sprawled on the ground.

Watching her miserable state, Anira burst out laughing, but she did not come over to comfort her. Her task was to prepare today's lunch since they were camping inside the Forest by a lake.

They arrived in the Forest early in the morning, and even after hours of exploring, they did not encounter any suitable pokemon to catch.

Aizen decided that it was time to start preparing for League, and so he came up with a Training schedule for himself and Leaf.

"You did well." Aizen closed his Pokedex and put it inside his Jacket. "3 Miles is your limit if you jog lightly."

"You are cruel..."

She had never in her life had to jog for so long. Now covered all in sweat, she was not in the mood to be lectured. 'Who treats a lady in such a manner?' She inwardly whined, but did not have the courage to say it to his face.

"As a Trainer you will encounter situations on your Journey where you would have to make a run for it. It could be to escape danger, or to help your Companions or Pokemon." Anira merrily told her and kept stirring the soup that she was preparing. "You need to be trained properly if you want to keep up with us."

"You are Monsters...!" Leaf pouted and complained as she managed to sit up, crossing her legs and folding her arms on her chest.

Aizen chuckled when he saw her antics and approached her before gently patting her head.

She was young and naive, but she had something that few people possessed; unyielding determination.

"You are a strong girl. And we will make you stronger." He whispered like a Devil, and her dissatisfaction waned after that. "Go on, take a dip in the Lake. It is safe as there are no Pokemon residing inside it."

Leaf blushed when she heard that. There was no way she was doing it in front of him, but to her relief, he approached Anira and started helping her out with their lunch, not paying attention to her.

Half an Hour later, all of them were sitting in a circle enjoying their meal.

Eevee was gobbling everything as if its life depended on it, whereas, Flabebe was savoring each PokePuff that she ate. Like every Fairy, she had a sweet-tooth.

Anira was explaining to Leaf how to make the perfect food for Normal Pokemon such as Eevee. Fairies were simpler as they only ate sweets and drank nectar, but Normal Type's taste varied by their mood, and bodily needs. Their tastes were a lot like that of humans.

"Do not be startled." Aizen suddenly whispered, catching their attention.

Both the girls looked at him, and then Anira quickly scanned the area with her Psychic Waves. Her eyes widened in shock when she felt so many Pokemon approach the Lake at the same time.

Venonat, Oddish, Gloom, Vileplume, Butterfree, and even a small colony of Pikachu arrived there.

Leaf was excited to see so many pokemon, but she remained seated. She knew that now was not the time to go after any Pokemon. It could turn dangerous if she tried to catch those oddish.

The trio watched as everything transpired. Aizen was already recording the event, as well as scribbling in his Log Book.

"The Pokemon of this forest must have reached some treaty to approach the lake at the noon. Look at them all playing, and having fun." She cooed at the cute Pikachus and the little Oddish that were singing merrily.

Eevee and Flabebe joined the wild pokemon and played along with them in the lake.

"I am confused..." Leaf frowned after a while. "Why are they not wary of us?"

"There are dozens of Beedrill surrounding the Lake at this time." Aizen informed her. "But you are right. If there were any other humans than us, the Beedrill would have chased them out of this place, but they won't do that to us."

"Is that something to do with your powers?"

Anira had informed her a little about their Powers, and she had learned much about Psychic and Aura Users in the file he had given her last night.

"Mhm..." Aizen nodded to her. "I am constantly exposing my Aura and and using by Psychic abilities to convey to the surroundings a feeling that I am happy and that I come in peace."

"It makes the wild Pokemon less cautious around us. Powerful pokemon can still resist this charm, but everyone here is not powerful enough for that." Anira explained some more to her.

"How convenient." She pouted again, but soon smiled as she continued watching the rare sight in front of them.

"Aizen..."

"Yes, Leaf?" He smiled at her, making her cheeks burn a little.

"Do you only have Eevee on you right now?"

He knew what she was implying.

"Yes." He nodded. "I want to challenge the League with the Pokemon I catch in Kanto, so yes, I will be building my Team from scratch."

"But... Is it not inappropriate to just leave out your other pokemon?"

Anira smiled at her words. She was glad that she made a good friend.

"It is." He nodded. "But I only have three other Pokemon, that are not on me, and all of them are Megas. I can't use them here in Gyms or in the Indigo Conference. And it is not like I won't call them over to spend some time with them. It is just that they are currently helping out my Grandma with some projects."

"Which Pokemon do you have?" She was very curious about it.

"Well... I have my first Pokemon with me, always." He pointed at the necklace he was wearing. "Her name is Lyla. She will meet you sometime in future." He told her before she could ask anything more about Lyla. "Rinko was a gift to me when I was 7 years old. He was my second Pokemon. I have a Mega Salamance, who I got as an Egg that hatched into a Bagon."

Aizen had a fond smile on his face as he recalled that day.

"My Mega Pidgeot was my Fourth. I found him when he was a Pidgey. And I got a Metang as a present when I was 10. He is now a Mega Metagross."

"Wow..." That was the only thing Leaf could say.

She had gone through the files last night. And she knew that Salamamce and Metagross were both Psuedo-Legendaries. Now she understood why he was not really bothered about not being able to use his Pokemon in the League. Those two could mop the floor with almost all of the Gyms if Megas were allowed. It would get boring for him.

"Do you have any Pokemon?" She curiously asked Anira. If Aizen got some presents when he was young, she must have got some as well.

Anira happily nodded her head. And then fished out a Pokeball, surprising Leaf.

"Isn't that illegal..."

"Everyone is allowed to carry one Pokemon on them if it is a Non-Combat Pokemon." Anira smiled brightly and tossed the ball in the air.

"Bliss!!" A cute voice sounded before a big pink Pokemon appeared in front of the trio.

"I am fine, Bliss." Anira smiled when she found Blissey acting as usual.

The evolution of Chansey had immediately hugged Anira and started checking her all over to see if she was healthy or if she had suffered any injuries. It was a lot like how a mother would treat her child, and it warmed Leaf's heart.

"Leaf, this is Bliss. And Bliss, this is my new friend, Leaf. She is travelling with us." She introduced the two of them.

Blissey greeted her and then hugged Aizen before joining Eevee and Flabebe.

"Wow... She's even checking up the wild pokemom."

"Bliss is like that." Aizen nodded his head. "Anira is usually forced to make her rest in her Pokeball since she tends to overwork herself."

"She's a treasure." Anira cooed at her Pokemon.

"So she is your first Pokemon?"

"My second. I have 10 Pokemon!" Anira proudly revealed. "I have all the Eeveelutions. And my first Pokemon was my Gible, that now is a Mega Garchomp."

....

"Why am I not surprised?" Leaf sighed.

"Unlike my brother, I am going to destroy the Hoenn League when I get my License." She crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes. "And then I am going to challenge her..."

"Who?" Leaf asked.

"Cynthia Shirona."

Leaf's eyes widened at the new Sinnoh Champion's name.

"Why?" She asked again but only received a sigh from Aizen.

"Let's pack up and get moving. We need to cover some more distance before settling in for the night."

Both the girls nodded and started packing up. It was time to start searching for some pokemon again.
