The Eastern wall was still standing strong after hours had passed, and the countdown had reached [58h:35m:01s]
Shane was sure that the entire beast tide wouldn't take more than two days, but he knew one thing for sure; the number of casualties was increasing by the minute.
There were lots of Elite stage beasts, but that was less problematic than the fact that there were still three Overlords whom they had to kill!
Miriam was unable to fight properly and the situation of Aisha and her Valkyries didn't look good either.
When Shane and the Starlight guild members had arrived at the eastern side of the shelter, they had immediately begun to attack, while refraining from using too many skills and mana at a time.
Earlier, they had utilized lots of mana and skills in order to defeat the northern beast tide as fast as possible.
However, Shane and the others had underestimated the pace at which they would grow exhausted.
As such, they had to fight slowly, preserving as much energy as possible while waiting for the potion effects to work their magic.
After that, they were even able to replenish their mana and recuperate from their exhaustion while fighting!
Shane was hit the worst because he had assumed that every side would be able to tackle their own beast tide effectively.
This was not the case and he had more than enough time, and even more opponents in order to increase the kill count of his Hidden-Universal mission!
Fighting carefully, but with steady attacks and the combined forces of Shane, his tamed beasts, and the entire Starlight guild, their combat prowess reached an all time collective high, making it relatively easy to defeat every single beast.
There had only been one exception that was the Bloodlust Thunder wolf.
Shane was still astonished by the sheer strength of the bloodlust radiated by the wolf that permeated the air.
His own had been utilized and strengthened during the entire fight, but it was still insignificant in comparison to that of the Bloodlust Thunder wolf.
'Compared to a few months ago, its strength had increased once again, and the bloodlust feels more like a sentient being...how can that be?'
He was not sure what was going on, but he could see Aisha brandishing her spear that was enveloped in a thick holy mana membrane. She pierced it straight into the bloodlust thunder wolf, which accepted the attack without hesitation.
The wolf had only moved by a few inches to avoid the spear slicing through vital organs before releasing dense electric currents.
They spread through Aisha's spear that carried it towards her before her body stiffened as they spread out through her body!
When Shane saw this, he was shocked about the decision of the bloodlust thunder wolf that had openly accepted an injury without batting an eyelid.
However, what it failed to include in its calculation was the fact that there were around 100 Valkyries that would sacrifice their life in order to protect Aisha.
Furthermore, Miriam had long since vanished from Umbra's head, where she had been resting previously.
As such, the Bloodlust Thunder wolf didn't even realize that its decision to let Aisha attack before launching a counterattack would turn fatal!
With 100 attacks manifested out of light affinity mana and one compressed blazing red fire halbert flying towards the Bloodlust Thunder wolf, it could barely evade the majority of them. It was forced to utilize the vast majority of its mana in order to evade the rest.
Nevertheless, the compressed blazing halbert that flew towards it was too fast for the beast to avoid it. Predictably, the halbert managed to slit open the right front leg of the Bloodlust Thunder wolf.
Had the wolf only been a second faster in its reflexes, it could have avoided the injury.
However, instead of panicking or attacking as desperately as everyone had expected, the bloodlust thunder wolf used a familiar tactic; running away.
Utilizing the last traces of mana within its body, the Bloodlust Thunder wolf fled towards the southern side of the RadiantRing shelter where the Four Element eagle was wreaking havoc.

Before everyone ran with all their might to pursue it Shane warned them in a loud voice.
"Don't waste your time, the bloodlust thunder wolf's front leg was hit by the Phoenix fire, and if I'm not wrong, it will continue to burn as long as it's not treated properly, right? Furthermore, its combat prowess decreased to that of a common Superior peak-Awakened stage beast!"
This caused the Valkyries to halt in their tracks, while Miriam, who was barely able to pull the halbert out of the soil, and Aisha, who was also showing signs of being exhausted, continued to run.
'Cosmo bring Aisha back and Umbra, please do the same with Miriam!'
Shane felt like a nanny, but he was glad that he had his tamed beasts.
While Cosmo jumped through a Spatial portal he had manifested to close his distance with Aisha in order to manifest another Spatial portal in front of Aisha and Shane, Umbra already lunged at Miriam's cape to drag her back to Shane.
Both were unable to resist the beasts and Shane could only helplessly look at the two young women that were said to be among the most powerful prodigies.
"If my tamed beasts are already enough to take care of you, what would happen if the Four Element eagle or Golden Centipede King were to attack both of you?.... I know that the shelter is currently endangered and it's also a fact that the southern wall has been compromised, but throwing away your life doesn't help anyone except our opponents!"
After Shane finished his short lecture, he realized that it was not his call to decide what Aisha and Miriam did with their lives.
Yet, he felt a sense of responsibility towards them and couldn't help speaking the bitter truth both young women liked to ignore.
However, now that he had said everything, Shane and the other defenders who had quashed the entire beast tide with the sole exception being the bloodlust thunder wolf wanted to leave.
"This is the last time I'll drag you two back to me. If you two continue to act like this, I won't care about what happens to either of you in the next few hours!"
With that being said, Shane turned around before he instructed the Starlight guild members to follow him.
There were still two beast tides and defenders fighting them were in an even worse condition than the first beast tide!
The second beast tide was not really problematic for Shane and the Starlight guild members because they had just helped the defenders and prevented as many casualties as possible.
This allowed them to regain their energy.
Unfortunately, the third and fourth beast tide wouldn't be that simple and as they braced themselves for the fight suddenly everyone within the RadiantRing shelter received multiple short notifications at once.
Apparently, the [Boreas] mercenary unit had arrived in the RadiantRing shelter and they were already facing the Four Element eagle.
Other than that, the news was rather bad because the remaining two beast tides had combined their forces while it seemed that the Golden Centipede King and Bloodlust Thunder wolf had joined hands, and were facing their opponents together!
Nevertheless, everything was much better now that the Boreas-mercenary unit had arrived!
They were a team of 6 humans that had a mana purity above 90%!!
Each of them had a strong occupation and it was said that at least one of their body refinement stages had been perfected!
They were strong, even in their individual force, but considering their combined strength, Shane was sure that the Boreas mercenaries would be strong enough to defeat the Four Element eagle and the other beasts including the injured Bloodlust Thunder wolf and Golden Centipede King!
